Overton is especially convenient for those interested in living near the University of South Alabama, located just four miles northeast, or the Mobile Regional Airport, four miles northwest. Cottage Hill Park sits immediately east of town and offers ball fields, a walking path, and picnic areas. Shops and restaurants are available on the two western edges of town. For more shopping and dining options, locals can head northeast to the Shoppes at Bel Air in Brookwood.

Property Ratings at Acasa Inverness Lakes
I moved out of this complex after the year from hell. First the piles of trash at the compactor so large you can't get to the door. Second, dog crap is every where. Third the fire alarm in my building went off one night in November then is started beeping so loud I could hear it in every room of my apartment. This beeping continued for well over 6 months. I would complain at the office weekly and nothing would be done. The longest break I had was about a week then the fire alarm would go off again and the 24/7 beep fest would continue. This was not fixed before I moves. It has been 7 months since I moved out and just received a collection notice (first contact I have received) stating that I owe them over $100.00. No clue for what because I had called them (since I moved out of state) and they stated everything was fine after the move. They never called or mail me anything even though they have my phone number and address.
I haven't even moved in yet and I love it already! The whole process of getting and applying for the apartment has been so easy and care free. If you get a chance to live here, make sure you talk to Kenyatta (if you see this I'm sorry if I spelled it wrong), Kelly, and Lawren! They are SO nice and make everything so simple. I look forward to moving in next week! :)
If you're looking to move in here DON'T. The staff is very rude and unhelpful. This has been by far the worst year living there. Ready for my lease to be up.

The apartment grounds are very nice and well as the pools. However, the office staff seem to be nice but they are sometime not helpful the will tell you that they are going to help you but it takes more then one call to get anything done. The wall are very thin and if your the people next door or under smoke you will smell everything.
