Property Ratings at Inwood Crossings
The day we were in the process of getting our lease signed everything sounded great. Management lies to anybody interested and should not be trusted. We were speaking to anna at the time and she lied about many things. It isn't as great as they make it sound and management is great at sugarcoating stuff. If you want the honest truth then it would be best to talk to a few residents before signing anything. They will say/promise anything to get people to sign a lease so again I advise for those who are interested to talk to a resident.

Price is kinda high but maintenance has been good and responsive. Feels pretty good to me with no complaints other than being next to the highway. 4/5 Update ~1 year later dropping to 1/5 This place has become incredibly dirty for the last 4 months or so, trash is everywhere and the garbage overfilled. The gate hasn't been fixed after an ETA of April. I've also been having issues with my apartment which has been taking long times. E.G. my air conditioner was low on freon and it took about a week. I got partially flooded due to a failed dish washer and it's been 3 months. I was told they ordered another dish washer and that wasn't the truth and it's been 2 weeks since they ordered the replacement part. Finally, my ice machine broke about 4 months into my first year and they said they couldn't order a replacement and it does not qualify for a replacement as per their policy. I'm relatively happy with the apartment itself, but maintenance leaves much to be desired. " The ice makers have been discontinued and we are unable to fix this. "
Left because I have a large dog that deserved a backyard but other than that I would’ve stayed, they were always soooo fast on repairs & always helped me out with any situation the management & maintenance were so nice especially Amy in the office. I was obsessed with my 1 bd apartment mostly because it felt so spacious !!!
If I could give zero stars I would. The management is by far the worst management I’ve dealt with. My granddaughter lived there for less than a month and during that time there was a drive by shooting and the following day my granddaughter was attacked outside of her apartment which caused her to need emergency surgery. After she returned from the hospital she explained to management that she didn’t feel safe. I had even gone to speak with management and found out that their security gate doesn’t work and that they don’t actually have on site security as promised. Luckily we were able to come to a mutual agreement to end the lease early since so much turmoil has happened in less than a month of living there. Well now the leasing manager Amy is saying that my granddaughter was the cause of the shooting and her own attack. She also claims that my granddaughter was evicted for criminal reasons. My granddaughter doesn’t even have a criminal record and she’s an upstanding citizen and a service member in the military. After blaming my granddaughter (who is a minority I might add) for these events taking place she asked my granddaughter to remove her poor review from their website. I am absolutely appalled at how this business is being ran. If you’re considering living here DO NOT! This is the tip of the iceberg of the problems my granddaughter has experienced because of them. The list goes on and on.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE INWOOD. TRISHA AND JOSE AND LISA ARE AWESOME! THEY'RE MORE THEN JUST PROPERTY MANAGERS, ANY PROBLEM I'VE EVER HAD FROM PERSONAL TO BUSINESS THEY'VE ALWAYS HELPED ME.
Worst apartments in the area gate does not work. Nothing gets fixed right. High theft area my car has been broken into and kids bikes stolen. Management does not care about people at all and the neighborhood has gone down alot! Do not move here you will be stuck in with a lease you can't break!
I lived there for five years... They never were willing to fix any broken appliances or replace them with new ones... Furthermore, there were water links from the ceiling that would cover our floor and belongings in water, because of a broken pipe three storeys above us... They simply just were unwilling to keep up on their place.... and spend any money whatsoever on improving the apartments of their residents.. They never cared for the appearance of for the condition of the place... They always just let everything go and become old and broken and never repair or replace anything.... ever! I assure you though if we were ever late on rent, that was an extra $50 on top of the monthly payment.... I wish they had to pay $50, not for being late in fixing the appliances or working on the infrastructure of the place, but for never doing it.... such as the fact that the refrigerator would leak water everywhere just from opening it. Please if you are considering an apartment, don't consider Inwood Crossings... It would be far better to be homeless and have the freedom of a semi-nomadic lifestyle than to be the resident in an apartment complex under such neglectful and irresponsible management... This is absolutely the worst management of an apartment complex I have ever witnessed...
When I moved in I was advised that this was a secure gated community with security patrolling. Lie--- the front security gate hasn't worked in for 4 years, so anyone and I do mean anyone can come in. The security patrolling does not exist. If you have vandalism to your vehicle good luck if their cameras were working or even on at the time. I questioned section 8 housing as a major concern of mine. I was told that they have designated one building for section 8. From what I see it appears almost the entire complex is section 8. And I have talked to allot of residences. I was promised and apartment next to the pond. Wrong, my apartment is next to the highway about 1/4 mile from the so called pond. Air filter replacements originally were to be done monthly, correction they are done if your lucky yearly. The dryer vents leading outside have not been cleaned ever to my knowledge, which could cause a fire. Maybe that's why they finally had someone replenish the fire extinguishers in our apartments. It will do you no good though is your not home, and left the dryer on and a fire occurred. This use to be a wonderful place to live at when I first moved in but since management changes it has gone down hill. They continually badger you to sign a new lease. Maybe because that's why people move in and out in less than 6 months, I wonder why? I personally take great offense to being lied to from the get go-- I moved in believing these false promises-- later realizing that is just what they were. If they cannot provide me with everything they promised at my original lease signing then I will not sign another lease, and will look elsewhere for a reputable complex, manager, and owner.
This is the third apartment I have lived in, and by far the most comfortable I've been. It's in a great location, just seconds from the highway and great dining choices. The staff is courteous and always do what they can to help you if something needs fixed(usually within a day). A washer and dryer is provided in the unit, which I've never had in any previous apartment. I would recommend this complex to a college student or business professional.
