Jacksonville is gigantic. At nearly 900 square miles, it is by far the largest city in the contiguous United States, in terms of geographical area. The landscape is so vast and varied that you are almost certain to find any kind of environment that suits you. From the high-rise buildings downtown to the marina condos along the river to the suburban neighborhoods farther from the urban core, your apartment rental options in Jacksonville are nearly endless.
Jacksonville is never short on leisure activities. The dining and entertainment offerings are top notch, from the bustling nightlife in downtown to the upscale shopping at Saint Johns Town Center and everything in between. Football fans will feel right at home in Jacksonville as NFL Jaguars games tend to draw big crowds no matter how the team is doing. The Jags’ home field has also served as neutral turf for the annual University of Florida-University of Georgia rivalry game each Halloween weekend for decades.

The apartments at Island Pointe are really nice and at a good price. I like that so many restaurants and stores are close by yet it also feels very private. The views, landscaping and being on an island are really special. Staff is great too. Thank you Sandi and everyone else who works there.

Thank you for leaving us a great review of our community and our onsite team. We appreciate it!
This place is amazing! I live on an island and on the river. I have such a great view of the river and sunset. On occasion I have seen Manatees and I can push off in my kayak from the fishing dock they have. I spend most of my time on my screened in porch and enjoy the waterfront breezes. I love it here!

Mornings at sunrise and sunsets are unmatched while staying at Island Pointe. From the property's waterfront location near the Trout River (just minutes away from the heart of Jacksonville) to its fantastic amenities and accessibility with plenty of parking, there is no shortage of activities you can partake in here as a guest or resident. With incredible uninhibited views of the Florida sunsets, I find myself often going for a walk down by the river waterfront only seconds from my doorstep, watching the sunsets as I work out at the onsite apartment gyms, or enjoying a homemade cocktail poolside and on the decks. I love living an active lifestyle, and Island Pointe has catered all of my needs and wants, so I hope it will cater to yours just as well as it has mine.

I recently had the opportunity to reside at Island Pointe Apartments, and overall, it was a positive experience. Here are my thoughts on various aspects of the apartment: The location of the Apartments is excellent. It is situated in a vibrant neighborhood with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transportation. Additionally, it's conveniently located near major highways, making it convenient for commuting. Amenities: The apartment complex offers a range of amenities that greatly enhance the living experience. The fitness center is well-equipped with modern exercise equipment, and the swimming pool is clean and well-maintained. The presence of a community lounge and outdoor spaces provides opportunities for socializing and relaxation. Apartment Condition: The apartment I resided in was in good condition. It was clean, well-maintained, and ready for move-in upon arrival. The layout was spacious and functional, offering ample storage space. The appliances were modern and in good working order. Management and Maintenance: The management team at Island Pointe Apartments was responsive and professional. They promptly addressed any inquiries or concerns I had throughout my stay. Maintenance requests were handled efficiently, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Safety and Security: Security measures at the Apartments were commendable. The complex had well-lit common areas, secure entrances, and a video surveillance system. I felt safe and secure during my time there. Noise Levels: The noise levels within the apartment were generally low. The walls provided good insulation, minimizing noise from neighboring units. However, occasional noise from street traffic could be heard, but it was not excessively disruptive. Affordability: The rent at the Apartments was competitive for the area, considering the quality of the apartment and amenities provided. It offered good value for the price. The Apartments provided a comfortable and enjoyable living experience. The convenient location, well-maintained amenities, responsive management, and reasonable rent make it a desirable choice for those seeking a quality apartment in this area.

Management here is not friendly, oh they will smile as they blindside you for stupid stuff. If you break a blind you have to get it fixed post haste,

We are so sorry to hear you have had a negative experience with us. We would love the opportunity to talk to you and see what we can do to make you happy.
This is my first time living in an apartment, we did not renew our lease!! There are tons of raccoons, roaches and stray cats everywhere. Everything is falling apart, pool is never clean. Dishwasher didn’t work, rusty nails on our porch. Mold along walls and ceilings, playground falling apart, stairs falling apart. This is NOT luxury!!!! Then to renew our lease they wanted another $400 /month. For what!! We live in a dump and they do not upgrade anything ! Our AC went out in the middle of the summer when I was 8 months pregnant. It took them a week to fix it and they gave a window unit to us for a SLIDING DOOR. How dumb! And we also had 2 other kids. And a hotel would’ve been expensive. This place is trash!!! Do not move here!!
The place is just absolutely beautiful!! Couldn’t imagine living anywhere else!!

Hi there! We're so happy we were able to help you out!
This place should be bulldozed as soon as possible. It is crumbling and rotting away. Bugs, rats, raccoons outnumber the tenants. Management is aware of the constant leaks, electrical problems, pest issues and appliance problems but they are completely apathetic and get nasty very quickly if you push to get your issue resolved. Absolutely awful.
STEER CLEAR!!! Island pointe was built in the 80’s and YOU CAN TELL !!! From the roaches to the mold to the apartment falling in pieces around you it’s all terrible. Maintenance half fixes things , floors caving in, the raccoons and did I mention the roaches ???? not worth it
My family and I moved down here from Camp Lejeune, NC. We did rent the property (3 bed) sight unseen . The pictures do not do any justice. We arrived here and they did a very brief "walk through". A day later, after getting things unpacked and put away, we realized just how nasty (rusty, moldy and dirty floors and appliances) there were. We have little ones and also found a razor blade in the carpet of our bedroom as well as a rusty nail that our kids could have gotten ahold of. The entire back porch is covered in black mold and the floors in the master bedroom and hallway cave in under the carpet. Lightbulbs were not replaced and we weren't able to plug in our dryer due to an old outdated plug being installed in the laundry room. We were told to purchase our own adapter plug to use our own things. Our dishwasher can't be used and instead of fixing the problem , they are ignoring requests and messages. It's impossible to find the owners of this place. Do NOT rent from here.
This staff goes over beyond for my daughter and I. I can call and what I might think is an emergency late at night, they always respond in a timely manner. Weather it is the night of or the morning after my call. They are soo personable. I left and came back and I just love it here. My neighbors always looking out for me and my daughter because it's just us. What ever I need, Island Pointe is there! It is very peaceful out here day and night! Anything I need or have a problem with, they are always there. I can't complain at all about these apartments or the staff (manager, assistant manager, associate). We love them and I can tell they love us. They always rooting for us in time of need.
Manager doesn't know what costumer service means. My ceiling fell down after reporting a water leak 4 days prior to it falling. Now i been with out a ceiling in my laundry room and with black mold everywhere for 2 weeks.
TODAY'S DATE: 10/5/2017 I will put this very simple. Pros and Cons! PROS: NONE; CONS: TONS (we will start from the office and work our way around this community) - The management staff is at best, a C grade (and even that may be over-rating them). They do not handle communicating well and when they do communicate their tones, attitudes and demeanors are not that which I would expect from any customer service based business. If you do decide to consider moving here and they offer you an 800 or 900 building location, I strongly advise you to decline (more details below). - The complex was built in 1988....the pictures online are very false. Great Photoshop job with the enhancements! - My apartment was not ready though I worked with the office weeks in advance of my out-of-state arrival. - Inside the apartment I was shown a rusted refrigerator and moderately clean range/oven. I asked to have them replaced and I essentially got 'We are not replacing those.' They felt the items were livable. I only wish I could provide pictures (fridge has numerous rust spots on the outside and the freezer rack is rusted as well). - The entire complex falls under Flood Zone A (the worst flood situation to be in!); None of the aforementioned statement is disclosed during move in. While I understood that I was living against a river (literally in one of the building against St. Johns/Trout River), and understood that if a natural disaster occurred (hurricane) that the area would like flood out, I did not expect the day-to-day rise and fall of the tide to fluctuate to the degree that the tide itself actually would flood the area I live in. Thus, I have been here for 1 1/2 months and I have had to walk through 4-12 inches of water (at high tide which lasts generally 2-5hrs twice a day depending on water levels) on regular days for at least 1 month out of that time (66%)....Horrible! - Management is not willing to help get you in a more comfortable/suitable situation, be it, move you to a better unit, or breaking of the lease so you can move on. Though I have made multiple complaints neither property management, nor home office management have sought to assist me in this matter....again, horrible, horrible, customer service! This essentially sums up my experience at Island Pointe and with EEL Development (property owning company).
This is a good ambiance, good place with the lake beside Apartment.
Rent is more reasonable than most in the area, and the location is very pretty. The apartment themselves are not in great condition. Paper-thin walls guarantee you will hear everything your neighbors do. The gates (that I specifically asked about when we moved in) work for 3 days and then are broken open for 2 months. There is no mail drop box and I still get at least the last four residents mail. The apartment was not ready to move into and even if it had been I am quite certain it would not be much better. The second star is because it will fit into most budgets.
The leasing office was so helpful with the move-in process! I moved from out of state and everything was efficiently handled through email, fax, and phone. The office has been very helpful ever since and they are so friendly! The complex has easy access to the main highway and is only 5-10 minutes from good shopping! I highly recommend Island Pointe Apartments!
