Property Ratings at Islands of Fox Chase
Great looking complex , office staff is prompt & courteous . Beautiful club house , grounds kept well & onsite maintenance is plus . Walls very very thin so neighbors smelly food enters apt and can hear neighbors. Local airport & hospital within 10 miles so you hear planes flying &EMT ambulance throughout nite . Parking absolutely horrendous but after 5pm practically no spots around .Not bad but IMO can be a lot better for price .Decided to buy so moved after 2 years opt for a building with elevator if have kids or elderly parents like us .
Staff and maintenance are genuinely wonderful. The apartments themselves are pretty nice and quite large. Parking can be limited but was generally not a problem for us
The parking is the worst here at Foxchase apt. They need to have assign spaces for each building. I am a tenant here and On the weekends and sometimes during the week I can't even park in an disable parking spot. The vistors should park on the street an it should be 2 spots for each apt by their building and 1 visitor spot. I have one car and the tenants have 3 and four cars and moving them around in the lots. Visitors are taking up the people who pay rent spots. Very unstatisfied. The worst parking ever. They should even give sticker up to 2 sticker for which apartment you live in.
These apartments are indeed upscale as comped to others I have looked at in the area. The staff in the office are just great and a real pleasure to talk to. The maint. staff are also top notch. I have lived here for two months now and have had there maintenance issues (normal first move in issues)and they were taken care of within one day or in one case just hours. The maint. staff are very friendly and seem to be very knowledgeable. I do have two complaints however. 1- the water pressure is not great, way lower than normal. 2-When I negotiated the lease terms I was given the option to update the kitchen area at an additional cost of $50 per month. For the additional cost I would receive among other things, granite countertops, hardwood flooring and upgraded cabinet hardware. First I never received the cabinet hardware. The granite countertops were installed and are very nice however the HARDWOOD floor turned out to be laminate which has already started to buckle in some areas. If you look at the advertisement for these apartments it defiantly states HARDWOOD flooring ; there is no mention of laminate. These points aside I would defiantly recommend these apartments to anyone.
Where to let your love ones grow older in peace and independently as well as start a family before finding a house. With high ceilings and up to dat a ppliances this apartment is easy living offering 1,2,3 bedrooms. The bedrooms are spacious enough to fit any size bed and design your room to your own personal style.The community is freindly and offers various activities for all residents to enjoy in the clubhouse such as ice cream parties and movie nights. The 24/7 gym is also another feature that is very much appreciated. The staff are very friendly and eager rto help solve any issues that arise on and off the clock. Its right off a major highway, Route 100, that leads you staright to Baltimore, Arundel Mills, Maryland Live Casino, & Washington DC. Also for the saafety of your loved ones Baltimore Washington Medical Center is a 2minute walk, right across the street, access to many health services,
