Property Ratings at Ivanhoe Village Apartments
I used to live here. This place is too expensive and understaffed. It used to be nice here but things have changed for the worse. I would not move in here!
Pros: location, near grocery stores, food, highway etc. the pool is pretty big. the apartments can be considered spacious. laundry is on site. Cons: upstairs neighbors are very loud, theres a lot of movement and dropping of boxes or something heavy every day at 5am. Quiet hours are not respected. some areas outside smell strong of dog pee because they are not washed often enough. recently, we’ve noticed people letting their dogs pee in the stairwell. the apartments are outdated, the rent is comparable to others in the area but the other complexes have been completely renovated inside and out. you can tell they painted the showers and cabinets many times, our shower started peeling paint the first week here. the gym has had a broken treadmill for months now(only one treadmill). you can pay $75 for a reserved spot. otherwise its first come first serve, very limited spots for the amount of people who live here. likely, you end up parking on the street. management is not very welcoming. the pipes often emit a strong sewer smell that even some of my guests have noticed. in conclusion: cannot wait to leave. not the worst, but definitely could use a lot of improvement. wont be renewing the lease as they are raising it by $200. not worth it.
Moved in January gave it 6 months couldn't be happier. The Property is well kept. The pool is like being at a resort. parking is good and with options. Staff is friendly and accommodating and customer service is on point. we have a beautiful view and our dog was welcome. Even though it is an older building they maintain a high standard. Very happy here.
The apartments are really old and out dated for the price that they are asking for. Other tenants and guest walk by your door making a lot of noise. And the women in the office are not nice people. So, do yourself a favor, rent else where.
My apartment proudly sits in an area that is truly Valhalla with the many restaurants and shopping in the area. The apartment has a great gym with windows offering a breathtaking view of the great area where I live. This includes a pool down below and a basketball court and horseshoe pit. Also, there's plenty of different types and sizes of apartments that will fit your specific needs. Come to the castle. Come to Ivanhoe.
Everything we had hoped for... My partner and I chose Ivanhoe Village Apartments because of the caring staff, amenities, affordability, and location. The staff has met our needs and always exceed our expectations. The pool area is one of a kind and fun place to hold any event for all ages. The rent is extremely affordable in regards to location and sq. feet per unit. The surrounding area is lively but quit and walking distance from a small shopping center that offers a little bit of everything. Ivanhoe Village Apartments has made "living the good life" so easy.
This is an older complex with some funky smells and older looks to it. If you are looking for modern design and cool look, this isn't for you but...Because it is older, it is quiet. I love the fact that I don't hear a peep out of my neighbors. I love the fact that there are coffee, shopping, bakeries, restaurants, pharmacies, burger joints, dentists, chiropractors, hair dressers, pizza shops, mechanics, supermarkets, banks and bus stops all within a very short walk! Freeway access? You are on it! Cool maintenance guys who work hard? Got that too. Office staff that are friendly and attentive? They work here! Like to swim? There is a huge swimming pool that is rarely crowded with outdoor BBQ's to use poolside. Schools of every type are within walking distance. There is a gym upstairs so you don't need to drive to the gym to work out. Laundry prices are very reasonable and machines are well maintained. Do I like living here? Yeah....I do. Not because it is modern or "cool" but because it is comfortable enough, priced right and all I need is just outside my door.
This is a reasonably quiet community. Great location situated across the street from shopping, just a couple of blocks from freeway access, and close to two malls.
An amazing complex, to say the least. Friendly neighbors, great management, an array of amenities. Easy and quick access to grocery stores, freew\ays, restaurants and even Starbucks is what brought our attention! The olympic size pool, outdoor BBQ, horseshoe pit, shuffle board, bocce ball, mini park and club house is what brings life to the complex. Not to mention the living space is quite spacious!
