Property Ratings at Ivy Crossing Apartments
This was my first apartment moving out of my parents house. There has been an issue since day one, first my dishwasher was broken (freshly renovated), then my sink was leaking had to have maintenance come out numerous times to come out and fix it. Even to the day of move out my kitchen sink was dripping. I put in multiple maintenance request for pest control and just basic maintenance and no one came, or I had to have them come out multiple times to fix the issue. This place also has a cockroach problem and won’t do anything about it. My AC went out (middle of august) right before I moved out put in 3 different maintenance request while also going to the office to have someone come out and look at it and no one ever came. It’s very hard to get a hold of the office, unless you wait at least 30 mins before you’re seen in the office. It’s a very noisy place to live, security and the office doesn’t do much. Pool wasn’t open unless there was a party in the club house and the gym was never available. It took months until I was able to do the laundry in the shared laundry room and even then there were different occasions when the laundry room wasn’t available due to renovations, doors being locked (the keys that were given out didn’t even work), and the laundry keys are always out. Hopefully, you don’t make the same mistake I did with choosing this place to live in.
I have been out of hot water for several days now. I cannot shower or bathe in the middle of winter because the water is freezing cold. The emergency maintenance line doesn't work, the office isn't picking up during business hours, and I'm steadily growing angrier. And that's just one issue. Let's not forget that their primary payment method has been not working for close to a month now, along with all of their other systems. And instead of giving the residents a more convenient method of payment in the interim, they tell us to figure it out and fine us for being late. My bank does not offer their alternative methods, and they will not take card. So I'm left kinda screwed here. Worst of all, maintenance in my building doesn't speak any English. And that part is fine if they took effort to translate certain things. Instead though I can only get repairs when I'm in the apartment when they happen to come by (which is never scheduled, just sorta random) because the maintenance guy won't figure out what "Permission to enter when resident isn't home" means. But hey. Heated swimming pool I guess. And a gym that's advertised but isn't actually open and hasn't been for months because "the equipment hasn't arrived yet."
Property Manager at Ivy Crossing Apartments, Responded To This Review
Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We're so sorry your recent experience has failed to meet our five-star standard. Fortunately, we're confident that the lion's share of your dissatisfaction is due to a simple misunderstanding or two. We encourage you to contact our leasing office so we can address these and any other concerns you may have as quickly as possible. Thanks again — the team at Ivy Crossing, (720) 453-2999.
No fire alarms or extinguishers. Multiple other tenants have complained and nothing has been done. And Now a fire broke out.
This place is a complete disaster. Trash everywhere. Police here every single week if not multiple times during the week. People constantly working on their garbage cars. Leasing office is filled with rude and untrustworthy employees who do not care or try to help you at all. Constantly had issues with my heater which barely ever worked. Literally had to harass the leasing office multiple times per day just for them to “try” and make it over to my unit. The first week I lived here my heater didn’t work the entire time and I would wake up shivering, even with blankets on. The have ANCIENT heaters, and the water would go cold/hot at any given time while taking a shower. Do NOT LIVE HERE. YOU WILL REGRET IT. DON’T SAY YOU WEREN’T WARNED.
The Ivy Crossing apartments have become an on going nightmare of issues, stress and feeling uncomfortable for the past 6 months. I would not advise living here unless you are renting a town house from the Ivy Crossing then those are luxurious compared to others.
What you get for the rent amount is above average. A few minutes from anything you need.
Roaches in my apartment, dishwasher doesn't work, AC doesn't work despite multiple services and techs, constant noise, constant fights/yelling/drug use from neighbors, police and fire are here every other day, mountains of trash in the hallways, flooring coming up everywhere in unit, door jams and locks that dont work or sit right. I could go on and on. Worst place Ive ever lived in 30 years.
Ivy Crossing is a horrible place to live. Management ignores renter requests for improvement. The environment represents a health and safety concern for any prospective renter. Stay as far away from this place as is humanly possible.
i had no heat in the winter - there was ice on my window- and it took well over a month to fix. I did not get any kind of refund. I then had no AC for a while in the summer. I had leaking water that they did not fix until a couple weeks. No one will respond to your phone calls. Cockroaches are very bad as well. I have lived a lot of places- honestly, the worst. do not move here.
This place is horrible. They falsely put me in a lease with 10 people in a 2 bedroom, then once flooding and mold started they refused to move my family into another unit and so now we are being processed for eviction because of rent not being paid. So for months I have lived in wet, moldy, inhabitable living conditions and their response is to evict you.
It's like living in the projects without the maintenance.
I've only lived in a few apartments in my life, but Ivy Crossing is by far the worst. From major parts of the building that fell off a year ago and still not being fixed, to paying for a laundry and it being completely destroyed for months (still not working), to law enforcement always being on the property and everything in between, there's nothing about Ivy Crossing that should make you even consider signing a lease.
Don't move here at all. They don't care about you. They don't fix things because they can't keep maintinence workers always under staff. You don't get to use pools and they is a lot of police because of shootings, drugs, and looking for people. The apartment they show you doesn't represent the one you move into.
Please do not rent in this place. It will be a nightmare every single day. They won’t help you with anything. Just keep looking for any other better apartments complex
This place is awful. Please do not move here. Everything just fell apart after we moved in and maitenece doesnt do anything. Even in emergent situations it is impossible to get ahold of management. And the staff are rude. Its definitely not worth what we pay in rent
This place is the worst place you can choose to live. Office staff never seem to know how to do their job, qualify of both inside and outside the apartments are far below standard, police are always involved with someone, AC never works, bugs and animals are able to get inside apartments, and the leasing office never moves a finger to help the residents. This place is a mess, I wish I didn’t let a price tag influence my move, I would never recommend this place to anyone.
There has been roaches here since we moved in. The office people are rude and often ignore requests. Our apartment flooded and they responded 5 days later to my emergency request, out carpets molded and they wouldn’t send anybody to dry our carpets or nothing. I feel like a prisoner here. They demand full rent when nothing ever works. They don’t care about you, me , or anybody. They want money
IVY CROSSING IS A GOOD place to live because of it central location. And I like the office staff friendly attitude.
AC has been broken for a month and they won't come to fix it until its 90° outside even though it is 85° inside my apt. I have to take freezing cold showers at least once a month bc the hot water breaks very often. They locked me out of my own home even thought that same day i gave them the key they requested to make a copy. I requested a meeting with the manager in November, its june and they never called back. They dont care
Overall I feel it’s a good place to live. From what me and my husband have seen people here are nice. There’s four dog parks and multiple laundry locations. And fitness centers, but I haven’t been to them yet lol and there’s also pools as well
Good place to live, cheap and mostly quiet. Slow to make repairs but usually get thiings handled when they can.
They don’t fix anything and act like you owe them something when you put in a service request as if you’re a tenant living for free.
No puedo desir algo positivo por q estoy a disgusto con la compañía ivy crossing por el mantenimiento está pésimo
Any time i have had a problem it was resolved by the end of the day.
Spread the word that these apartments are completely unprofessional and unlivable. From the roaches to the black pool to the hot water going off every other week, the pipes make awful screeching noises when you turn on the shower. No response from management.. i could go on and on. Bottom line for others is DO NOT MOVE HERE because you will regret it
false advertising! The photos on here and on their site do not depict the conditions that actually exist. Its awful!
Real sweet while trying to get you to sign the contract, once your in, don't expect much
It was better before this company took over. Corporate doesn’t even address concerns nor do they care about the living conditions, community or its residents at all.
We have absolutely loved living here for the last 2 1/2 years. Community, neighbors, maintenance response and completion have all always been worth praising. Until the last 7 months or so. Zero communication, very little in upkeep of the grounds, washers havent worked in 2 months, 6 months of water issues for our entire building with absolutely no communication or updates, and more.
If you want to be talked down to by the management once you sign your lease never attended to by the maintenance or staff live here. This place literally has trash all over the place, It's falling apart, people park on the grass on the sidewalk in the fire lanes. The place reeks of weed smoke cigarette smoke the only thing missing is roaches which show up every once in awhile. Crime is rampant break-ins or rampant and it's almost like the staff encourages it they're that bad. I can't tell you how rude the staff is!
As a resident, I like Ivy Crossing and encourage others to join the Ivy Crossing Community. Peaceful area to live in with plenty of community amenities!!
I really love staying at Ivy Crossing. I do not have to worry about parking spaces and customer service is available most of the time. People around are very friendly. Ivy Crossing community rocks!
Ivy crossing is a very run down property. Management hasn’t put any effort into fixing or renovating any of the problem features.
Do not rent here! No one answers your messages or calls back. Maintenance falsely marks work ordes as complete without completing them. You get no actual person when you call the office number, you get someone from a call center who says they will leave a message for office but no one ever responds.
Ivy Crossing strives to provide their best services in the interest of the client.
Ever since Ivy Crossing bought Woodhaven it has been the worst, we are getting charged a maitanance fee every month yet when we need them my either they don't do a decent work or they just ignored the request
Ivy Crossing is a money-making scam of a housing community. They will take you money and neglect any service requests, problems with amenities and community resources, and ignore emails until they are under legal obligation to. Do not expect safety or respect.
The customer service in the office is very friendly, just the follow up for maintenance ior some reason doesn't match.
Is a great community with a great team- I hope to live here for many years!
Ivy crossing is an average, temporary first place type of apartment. I would not recommend this complex to anyone who is looking for a long term tenure, or even a satisfactory experience. The staff, and they’re lack of urgency, has been the worst part of by lease. The community constantly has problems and there is barley an immediate response to any of them. It’s very common to be in the office, while making a frequent complaint, and hear someone else make a complaint about another problem that still hasn’t been handled.
Ivy crossing has been the worst experience in renting. I have dealt with roaches inside the unit, and building common areas for a year and a half. Staff is less than willing to help or address issues. Office staff make their own office hours when hours are clearly posted on door and online. Property manager and district manager response time to any issue in 3 weeks or more. They do not shovel snow and the amount of pot holes in the parking lot for what is paid separately for parking is astonishing.
Ivy crossing is the shiftiest apartment I’ve ever lived in. Between the staff, the overall look of the grounds/amenities and the actual apartments, I would highly recommend not wasting your time and finding somewhere better to live.
The rent is cheaper than other places but the office and maintenance sucks
Ivy crossing has had little communication with residents resulting in every interaction causing a headache.
Not satisfied it takes forever to get anything fixed
Un entorno agradable y familiar. Con áreas verdes y tranquilas para vivir tranquilos.
Not a great place to live. Your work orders will never be completed because they took over way too many apartments and dont have enough staff to completed them. There are roaches and you never even see pest control anymore driving around. They cared more about remodeling the leasing office than making sure their residents are living comfortable in these over priced apartments
Estoy arrepentido de haber rentado aquí muy caro, departamento en malas condiciones y caso omiso de la encargada
The cost of living in Denver and Aurora is continuing to go up But I have found ivy crossing to be fairly affordable for what you get compared to the prices of other similar places. It's a beautiful property and the location allows you quick access to everything Denver and Aurora has to offer. The walking/biking trail is just a block away from the property So it's great for pet owners and those who like exercise/the outdoors. Both times I have lived here It is been overall a very good experience, I highly recommend this property.
