Property Ratings at Jacaranda Village
I’ve lived here since the end of 2018 and have had a lot of issues back and forth and only there out of convenience until an opportunity comes up. They don’t care about you here and you’re just another number. Regardless of having an outdated apartment and things falling apart, every time you renew your lease expect that rent to go up! Other than that, parking is a major issue hence my subject line above. There’s not enough parking to satisfy the occupancy of their actual tenants and watch out if you have neighbors that have multiple vehicles that they don’t use as those cars will stay parked in convenient spots closer to the building. Also, prepare if there’s random guests that come over (which it’s not their fault) but yes, they can also impact you and lead you to park far from your building. Lastly, living closer to the canal is a trap as it’s the home of the wild ducks. Between my wife and I we both have new cars and they’ve both already been damaged due to their massive droppings that occur over night and burn in to the paint. The hood of my car looks like a Dalmatian with all The spots that have burnt it from the duck droppings. So it’s a lose lose when it comes to the parking and when you email them about parking issues/suggestions they don’t care. You’re just another number and they’re waiting for you to move out so they can start with someone new. Take it from me my family and I are trying to get out of here ASAP I despise this place.

We're sorry to learn of your dissatisfaction at Jacaranda Village. The ducks are natural / seasonal. Although we tried a deterrent last year, it didn't work for very long. If you'd like to discuss any of your concerns in detail, please call me at 215-887-8400. Thank you. ~ Jill Greco, Regional Manager
When we visited the community the first time, we loved it. It was quiet, clean, and peaceful. The apartment we looked at was spacious and the monthly rent was exactly what we were looking for in the area. Fast forward to ten months later, and I wish I would’ve never made the decision to live here. First of all, the apartments they lease are not ready. There’s maintenance issues often. In these short ten months, we’ve had A/C leaks, refrigerator problems, water issues, etc. The maintenance staff and leasing agents are nice, but the management team is garbage. They don’t return phone calls, they don’t try to accommodate you, they don’t give a crap about what problems you may have. And they get away with it because they know you’re tied to a lease and it’s not that easy to just pack and move out when you have a family. I don’t recommend this community at all. It’s better to pay more and not deal with poor management and maintenance issues.

Very disappointed with this rental community. The leasing agents are very nice and helpful, but there are obviously serious issues with the maintenance of the place. We moved here less than 3 weeks ago. The water in the building we live in has been shut off two times already without any notice: Once on a Wednesday during the day, and once on a Sunday morning until the afternoon. This could be something that doesn’t happen often and just bad timing/luck. The refrigerator in the apartment had a part inside that’s used as a shelf that had been poorly glued to the door and broke the minute we tried to place groceries inside. I asked for someone to come and look at it. They came two days later and replaced it with an older part that has stains, and left it completely unattached, so I’m unable to use that part of the fridge. The garbage disposal had a rotten odor coming out the first time we attempted to use it. They also claimed to have fixed that, but the odor is still coming out of there. I’ve had to ask multiple times to have these things fixed and still nothing. One of the outlets in the master bedroom is also not working. The people who lived here did not have good higiene. They left hairs everywhere in the bathrooms and kitchen, and the maintenance people painted the cabinets and walls over the hairs. It’s pretty disgusting. Now we’re stuck here for a year. All these things have happened and we’ve been here not even a month. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The parking is another issue. There is never parking near our building. I’m 7 months pregnant and I have to walk like a quarter of a mile to get to my place. There’s just too many negatives and very few positives unfortunately.

My name is Victor Chiriboga . My partner and I have been living here for about 1 year and we love it so far . It is close to everything . Public is across street . Great pizza alao next to Publix. Like every home there are issues from time to time like ?? ants or appliance issues but i must say that when I report something to the office , they answer quickly . Rudy and Solangel are very kind , answer the phone in great mood and they make you feel like they are going to help you . They don’t make you feel like if you are bothering them . They always resolve everything fast . Management is really efficient and profesional and very friendly . I just wanted to share my experience , hopefully can help to other people . Hi Victor, thank you for the kind review of Jacaranda. We strive to make our community comfortable and convenient for our residents and we are so glad to hear we are succeeding! We will pass your compliments on to Rudy and Solangel as they love to hear when residents are happy. - Jacaranda Management Team
I have lived here for just over a year and love it!!!! All of the Staff is pleasant. I really never have any problems with my apartment but in the event that I have, they are very quick to fix the issue. It is nice and quiet as well as they keep the property and landscape very clean and nice looking. Thank you
My husband and I looked at several apartments within the same area and Jacaranda Village was the best deal in regards to cost but more important there were no hidden fees or added expenses. Rudy was great when it came to signing the contract and getting the needed paper work together. He was very responsive and organized. Maintenance has also been very responsive to following up quickly to request. Love being able to walk across the street to Publix.
The one big problem with this community is that they don't have any courtesy at all for the renters that they serve. Every weekday Monday-Friday at 8AM they have this huge loud leaf blower machine that the workers push around. Do you really need to blow the leaves off the roads every single morning even when its not even that much? After they blow the leaves with the leaf blower machine, a maintenance worker comes in and has a smaller manual leafblower to sweep away any additional leaves. When the weekend comes, you think you'll be getting some sleep but thats when they hire the landscaping maintenance to sculpture every bush with their loud brush cutters. I go to sleep around 1-2AM and it is disturbed every morning for about an hour with their constant landscaping maintenance. Don't rent from this apartment, you will not be able to call it home- it will be a nuisance and you will wake up each day annoyed and tired.
My apartment inside is comfortable and Updated New Appliances and Granite Counter top! but has many issues!! Kitchen falcet is leaking. Maintance came and looked at it but still leaking. bathroom drawers on vanity is out of track always. Its an new cabinet that shouldnt be happening. Other issues already got repaired. Out side maintance is very poor kept!! entry to building muddy and dirty not well kept, plus many tree and are not trimmed and maintained. Elevator in building stops on wrong floor everytime leaving from 3rd to bottom flr. Needs maintance. Response time to repair is very poor. Manager is a very wonderful caring person and staff also. Maintance staff is the issue!!
The location is not far from a mall, grocery store, outlet mall and many restaurants. But even better than that is the staff. They do a great job in following up on service requests and keep the grounds looking very nice. The rent is also reasonable for this area.
Location is great. On Pine Island Rd between Broward and Cleary. Nice neighborhood, Publix DIRECTLY across the street, with Pei-Wei, Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza in the same shopping center. 595 is about 7 minutes away. The apartment is great. Mine is 2/2 and there is plenty of room. The master bedroom has a closet, a bathroom, and sliding glass doors that open on to a small patio. Second bedroom (same square ft as "master") has a huge closet and a regular window. The living room area has another sliding door with another patio. The management team takes care of any little problem you have almost immediately. If there's an emergency after hours like a leak, or AC dying, they have someone there within an hour. Great maintenance team. Property it well kept, giant swimming pool, well equipped gym with treadmills, cable weight machines etc, volleyball court and a small playground for the kids. Its a good neighborhood for a family. Good place to live.
Jacaranda Village has been nothing but amazing! My husband and I are going on three years living here and I plan to stay here for much longer. The staff has been nothing short of fabulous. They are always kind and willing to help you with anything you need. Service requests are fulfilled the same day, almost always. Maintenance staff is very helpful and trustworthy. Grounds are kept beautifully! The pool is huge and a great place to relax! Overall, the community is quiet and very enjoyable. If you are looking for an apartment here in Plantation, I highly recommend Jacaranda Village!
JACARANDA VILLAGE -Exterior is not well kept. Messy in building hall way mainly on 1st floor by elevators, Also Elevators are constantly broken or stopping on 2nd flr when you press 1st w/o anyone requesting elevator on that floor. Elevator is also dirty inside not well kept! Maintance request take weeks to respond when requested. I had to go see the manager to get them to come and repair leaks issues and plumbing problems. When they responded the gentleman was very professional and polite he took care of all issues immediately. Now i notice a bug problem also in my unit, and i just moved in a few weeks ago. I hope things get better i like my unit very modern updated with new appliances granite counter top very nice cabinets, and tile floor partial and rest wood laminate love it. But maintance issue is very poor im disappointed..... RENT is Not CHEAP!! 1/1 Unit Staff good! and Manager Awesome Personality!! also i live by trash dumpster and its smelly and noisy with dumping of trash every night. I will not recommend place unless things change reference maintance!! Also my unit was not cleaned properly before moving in. They need better cleaning personnel very poor!!
Jacaranda Village is the best home community in an apartment setting. The staff is welcoming and acessable . Picturesque in all aspects blending into south Florida quite nicely. Size and price are a great compliment to each other. Nice place to start out or continue even with a family. Can't say enough about JacarandA Village in Plantation
Jacaranda village is one of the more reasonably priced apartments near American Express office, the other being waves community nearby. The feature that sets apart Jacaranda village is its proximity to shopping centers like Publix, Spa, restaurants (Asian as well as American) as well as Broward county library. All these are within walk-able distance from the apartment which is extremely useful if you are not having a car. The apartment is well maintained, with a very good living and dining area with individual washer and drier even in 1 bedroom units which sealed the deal for us when looking for an apartment to rent. We are satisfied with choosing this as our new home and hopefully see you as our neighbor sometime soon. :)
If you have a dog for a pet this is a great place to meet other dog lovers. The apartment complex is clean and upkept on a regular basis. They have a beautiful pool along with a barbeque picnic area to have guests over. Also, it is in an excellent location. I would highly recommend this complex.
My husband and I love it here. It's perfect for our budget, close to both our jobs and son's school. Publix is right across the street! Never had any problems with management , the bedrooms are huge ! ( We have a 2/2 which both rooms can fit king size beds) The kitchen cabinet space is limited but something we can live with. My number one thing though is no roaches or ants ! Living in Fl you can never get away from there. We use to live in the fancy places and the roaches always found a way ( we are not dirty ) well we don't get any !! We love it ! We just renewed for a second year and already talking about renewing for a 3rd !
Move in: I moved into my current apartment about a year ago and they were very welcoming. Rudy is the guy, he is awesome, very friendly and takes time to explain all the features, gives you a tour and walks you through the paper work. From time to time, they have specials running that can be really helpful, I got one and Rudy let me know about it. And a friend of mine who referred me also got a referral bonus, so these are things you may want to check out first. Stay: The place is very safe, lots of families in the community at the same time quite and gives you so much space to move around and take a walk in the evenings. The surroundings are well maintained and are cleaned routinely, and are very prompt to respond to any cleaning needs in or around your apartments. Recently there was heavy rain and the walkways needed cleaning, we saw the staff get to work right away as soon as the rain stopped and took care of everything. There is always someone available to help at the office or staff can be seen in buggies attending to maintenance needs. Pets are allowed and I have seen people enjoy walking their pets everyday, though on rare occasions the odd resident may not cleanup after their pet. There are other facilities like gym, tennis court etc., overall my stay experience has been excellent. Maintenance: As I said earlier, the staff is almost always available. I had an issue with the microwave and it was promptly replaced with a new one after a couple of reports of issues. Access: The apartment is right opposite to a friendly neighborhood Publix, eateries, gas stations, Firestone and plenty of medical facilities for kids and adults alike. And with Sunrise and University junction almost everything is available within a couple of miles. Both SR84 and I595 are within a couple of miles drive. Plenty of guest parking within the apartment community and easy layout makes coming in and out really easy. The fact that Central Park is only a 5 min drive from the apartment is just great. Overall: I feel this is one of the nicest places in this locality. Good leasing staff, reasonable specials offered from time to time. Best Wishes.
I stay in apt 104 it's a one bhk apartment and it's comfortable and affordable
The only issues I have had during my 6 year residence at this complex are minor and have been with the neighbors. Some have been noisy from time to time but not enough to complain to staff. And previous neighbors have left their loose garbage in my personal trash receptacle. But maintenance was kind enough to clean it out for me after baby frogs somehow got into it, and they are always quick to fix any repairs needed. I have been happy here.
Jacaranda Village Apts in Plantation, Florida is a very high quality neighborhood. I love living here. The staff is awesome. They respond to service calls within minutes and everything is fixed and upgraded so fast. The sparkling pool and sunny sundeck is second to none. Plenty to do and it's right near the turnpike.
