Do not be fooled by this place. Front office never answers the phones, the kids they hire to manage this place can’t do the job their are hired to do, rent is ridiculously high and as soon as I can I will be following 3 of my neighbors who just moved out. If you like popcorn ceilings, poor management and over priced small apartments this place is for you!

I just moved into my apartment last month and I had a phenomenal experience. The office made it very easy with no headache, I havent had any issues since. Its very clean and quiet around my apartment. I am very happy overall so far living here. I have recommended a friend already to this property.

I recently had the misfortune of dealing with the new management at Jade Scottsdale, and I must say it was an utterly dreadful experience. Not only did they fail to refund my security deposit, but their handling of the situation was incredibly unprofessional and frustrating. My lease ended on 3rd Aug 2023.I never received any form of communication from Jade Scottsdale regarding my security deposit. They claimed to have not received my new address, but conveniently managed to send a debt collection notice for water charges. I promptly paid the outstanding amount and received confirmation that they would resolve the issue with the debt collector. Unfortunately, this promise went unfulfilled, as I continued to receive calls and emails from the debt collector. And for my security deposit, they asked me to contact the old management for a refund!! Overall, my experience with the new management at Jade Scottsdale was a complete nightmare. Their incompetence, lack of communication, and failure to resolve issues in a timely manner left me feeling frustrated and ignored. I strongly advise others to steer clear of this establishment until significant improvements are made in their management practices.

LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR AN APARTMENT. I moved out end of November and was trying to take care of my final bill before leaving. They assured me on move out day that the check I handed in before moving out would be the last. It was not.. It's now end of January and I am still dealing with them. After moving out, I received ANOTHER bill that was incorrect as they charged me until the end of the month instead of my actual move out date. I tried to call and email them multiple times ever since I received that bill and could not get them to fix it. They finally responded after a while and "fixed" the bill, telling me it would be the last time I dealt with them. I went in person and paid the assistant manager. However, they NEVER mentioned at the time that they had already sent me to DEBT COLLECTIONS (I never paid anything late, wanted them to fix their mistake instead of obviously paying an overcharged bill). I received the letter from collections after I already gave them the check. According to the debt collection company they should have never accepted any money from me after sending me to collections so I was also asked to pay collections (Jade Scottsdale was NOT supposed to cash my check and send it back to collections). Of course Jade Scottsdale did not abide by this and also cashed my check so I paid the same amount TWICE. Instead of paying my money back (since I also have the money sitting in collections for them), they will NOT respond to any emails or phone calls. This place is unethical and I highly regret ever staying here because its caused nothing but headaches. Keep in mind I moved out in November and its almost February. I have always paid my rent on time and have never caused any issues. Avoid renting from here at all costs unless you'd like to deal with incorrect bills and employees who will not do their jobs: will not fix simple bills, will not answer phone calls and emails. In summary: they charged the incorrect amount, would NOT fix my bill in a timely manner, sent me to debt collections without ANY COMMUNICATION even through I was constantly trying to contact them, and still have my money.

The staff is very nice, but why would you let a new tenant move in to an aprtment that needs servicing? The ac condensation is leaking heavily in the one area you need to pass by to get from room to room. This was known prior to movein and yet they let the water flood the floor. We got maintenance to come on movein day only to put a bucket under the leak. Hopefully it will get fixed this week, but it's just ridiculous to have someone move in when there is a major issue.

I am trying to lease at Jade via their online system. Unfortunately, I can't back out now as I paid the non-refundable fees application and when I look how the application status, they say to call the office. I called several times and left many messages but no call return. I also paid some deposit but still not sure if i got the apartment that I should move to in 10 days. Not high quality service. Lot of convenience fees. No explanation on things. The website info are not all the right ones.

Lots of good reviews and high star scores, but don't let that fool you. It is a lie. The service has been terrible since the management company changed last year and the manager changed. This is an older place, but the previous manager was great and everyone was satisfied. Now the managers are typical people who don't do their job properly and I would not recommend this place at all.

Jade front office staff are kind and professional. Charlie, Desiree and others has always been nice and friendly. My only complaint is the maintenance issues in my apartment that has not been fixed for more two months!

The quality of living has been bad since the leasing staff changed. Overall I have lived in this complex for nearly 4 years and this year I had the worst experience so far because of the staff. Other than the staff, the updates that the owner did are very good.

I arrived in Arizona with a work move looking for a community to call home. Jade Scottsdale is a beautiful place to call home. I love the way I am treated and the excellence the management team is driving within the staff. It is also refreshing to meet property management companies that are straight with their residents. They are under a large list of upgrades and cultural change to bring the property up to the level befitting Scottsdale. They communicate excellently via signage and consistent emails. I know when things are happening and get advance warnings of any vendor work being done. This is a great place to live and I really am thankful that I picked Jade! Im the bald guy that is always smiling to be in the valley of the Sun at home at Jade Scottsdale!

First, since we wanted a place right away and Jade Scottsdale had immediate availability. Also, since it's closer to the school so this was just the right location for us. The price met our budget, and the unit features were also what we wanted. Our earlier apartment did not have a washer/dryer in the unit and it's so convenient to have one. Also, we felt that the area of the apartment was large. Apart from this I think the leasing office has done a wonderful job in meeting our requirements and making our move as smooth as possible. I would recommend to anyone who wants to move to Scottsdale.

Wouldnt recommend living here. Rent prices have sky rocketed and management cant communicate simple tasks. Still havent received paper statements for rent and applicable utility charges.

Overall the team has been polite BUT they don't seem to take requests very seriously and the communication could get better... Also I've noticed that since Avenue5 took over the plants, flowers and all the gardens in general are not being watered (not once I've seen the sprinkles on) and everything is dying making the community look bad and not taken care of.

The new management has not done a good job at a smooth transition. They would rather give excuses for why they aren't taking care of issues and they are rude on the phone, especially Charlie. The old management did a far better job. I'm not happy and will be glad to move when my lease is up.

THE BAD: Management does not deal with issues regarding your neighbors, whether that be parking issues, loud dogs etc. They expect you to confront them (yes I was told this when I called) which is highly inappropriate. Just a tip, if someone’s dog is barking all the time especially at night, call animal control. After so many complaints they will get cited, the complex won’t help you with this issue or any other personal ones. There are vehicle break in’s, but management has cameras to watch the trash cans to make sure you correctly recycle LOL. Yes, they do micromanage you on trash, not a joke. Dog poop is prevalent, and you can smell the pee in the rocks especially when it is hot, so disgusting. Roaches, there are big roaches that show up from time to time. We’ve heard from neighbors in a different part of the complex that they have a big roach issue so maybe it depends on where you live. Water is shut off frequently due to repairs etc. not much notice is given OR it is shut off well after they say it will be back on. Hope you like getting lots of emails and texts that are sent out to the whole complex reminding people to pick up their dogs poop and trash etc. Those PSA's don't seem to be working. Several incidents of the cops being called to the complex for domestic issues. Only one heated pool, the small one in the back, instead of the nice one in the back. THE GOOD: They always answer the phone, whether they’re helpful is a different story as I said above. Maintenance is nice and helpful. The landscaping is pretty. Close to shopping and food. Food trucks come to the complex, so I liked checking those out. They had BBQ’s for the residents, so that was cool. Overall, I had more annoying incidents with this complex than good, it started out great but I’m not sure how they vet the new residents, but the quality of people has gone down a lot. You’ll find lots of beat up or disabled vehicles in the parking lot and sketchy looking people at night (hence the cops being called frequently). Also not uncommon for people to be parked in your spot, again zero help but they'll slap a sticker on there for free that says they shouldn't be there, super helpful right? With so many issues, it just is glaring obvious they like making the outside/amenities the forefront but aren’t willing to put the effort into fixing the actual issues above. Would I recommend? No. Their service and overall living enviroment is not worth the money.

Great place to live at, facilities are great, well kept, and staff is always willing to help if there are any issues (which is not often). A special shout out to Lucy, a staff member, she is very friendly, helpful and always wearing a smile no matter what time of the day it is or how busy she is. 5/5.

I love this place, everything is close to me, the staff here are great especially Sheridan, very helpful. Lucy is also always smiling. Director Alfonso is also helpful. I recommend that you live in this place.

Just signed the lease and Lucy is the one that made it! Her personality is one of a kind. She makes everyone feel special and helps out even on her ONE day off a week and after hours. The grounds are extremely clean and quiet. The area is beautiful and all new. I can’t say enough good things about sky ancala and Lucy!!

This is a great places to live! They have everything you need right at the apartment complex like a great gym, pool, coffee bar, and sky lounge. They also keep the complex very clean. Maintenance does a great job around the complex and if you ever have a problem with anything they are there to fix it right away. If you are looking for a great place to live in Scottsdale I highly recommend these apartments.

The location is perfect! Minutes away from grocery stores and several restaurants. The Management is amazing and easy to work with. Alfonso is an awesome property manager who really cares about his residents and is very attentive and always makes sure my work orders are taken care of in a timely manner. Josh is amazing at completing the work orders and making sure his job is complete and accurate. Lucy, one of the leasing consultants has waited for me on several occasions so I could grab a package, they all go out of their way to serve the residents. I really like it here! I forgot to mention. If you are a dog lover, they have a large dog park that they are continuously improving!

The furthest thing from a luxury apartment! Maintenance staff BROKE INTO my apartment after I had packed up most of my stuff and moved out, even though my lease was STILL ACTIVE. I was leaving early because they failed to fix my air conditioning after six requests throughout the summer. They failed to provide working AC (which the AZ landlord and tenant act legally requires, by the way), and therefore violated their own contract. Yet they refused to let me out of my end of it! Back to the break in... I went to Alfonso, the property manager, and specifically asked him if he knew who was in my apartment and he said no. A few minutes later I asked a leasing consultant for the log of when vendors sign out keys to the apartments. Sure enough, a maintenance technician listed himself as having my key, and the log didn’t have a return time listed! I didn’t have any service requests open, so there was no reason for anyone to be going into a unit that is still in my name. What’s worse is that he left trash EVERYWHERE. Whatever you do, DO NOT lease an apartment at Sky Ancala! Lying scumbags!
I leased my apartment two months ago. Overall, the place is great, neighbors are friendly and the gym is really well equipped. I have nothing but good things to say about the office staff.
This was my first apartment ever in 1994 when I moved to the Valley. The experience was wonderful, the staff took pride in making sure that the residents home life was peaceful. The three years that I lived at what was then Joshua Tree Apartment Homes, 1994 - 1997 very special. I moved to cut costs and to live closer to school and my new work location. I moved back in 2004 and the experience was just as wonderful through 2005. I moved back to the east coast for almost 10 years, and there was no question as to where I'd rent upon returning August 2015. I was shown the actual apt. I'd be renting. there were several simple, but very necessary fixes that had to be corrected prior to my move-in date, especially since I returned with physical disability. The rental agent assured me that the apartment would be ready within three weeks. Sixteen day later I was notified that the apt would be ready in 3days. My furniture delivery date was scheduled for 3 days later. On the walk through/move-in day I was told that everything on the list of repairs and to be addressed, was taken care of. I had no reason to believe that the statement was false, when the agent gave me the keys, the walk through sheet to note any discrepancies. He was requested to address something else so I finished signing the lease agreement and proceeded to the apt to inspect and share my findings on the walk through sheet that I would need to return to the office within 24hrs. To my utter dismay, the apt looked just as it did when the agent and I left 3 weeks ago! In fact, the screen from one of the front windows was still on the now dirty patio, the pediatric toilet bowl was still in place, the latch to the kitchen window was still broken, the wall tiles between the tub surround were still cracked and/or broken, the craters in the patio floor were not filled and many of the fireplace surrounding tiles were chipped and/cracked. I was thoroughly undone, and so disappointed, and insulted. This fella had outright lied to me! And just as worse, he and his office manager continuedto lie for several days thereafter. After two weeks I learned that he, the agent was fired, and a week later so was the manager. I shared my dilemma with the new leasing manager and learned that my walk through paperwork had disappeared. Because my copy, did not have the initial leasing agent's signature, my noted comments and list of discrepancies were not admissible, as well as my painful inconveniences.
From my personal experience I agree with everything the previous review "incredible" wrote. The new management people are rude and just plain nightmare to deal with.

I've been living here for a while now a can say the location is excellent. The apartments were upgraded on the surface. That being said, no apartment community is perfect. Elavate would be a gem if there were a few things addressed like: replacing walkway light bulbs, maintain the dog station and provide bags, tenants picked up after their dogs, fix broken sprinklers and related flooded areas, 2nd flr apts had better insulation, the tennis court "perk" didn't have a gigantic crack and could be used, if the back section of the property was maintained, if they took care of the ant infestation, if a/c didn't cost between $250 to $300/mth for a one bdrms set as 80, if a/c's actually worked, if cabinets didn't fall apart, if washer/dryers weren't from the 70's, if you didn't smell your neighbors cooking or painting,if the main pool area wasn't a frat house and respectful of families with toddlers, last but not least, if new office staff was welcoming instead of arrogant, then this community would be PERFECT! It would encourage tenants to stay instead of continuing the mad exits. Hope the new manager can turn this around and share the new owners intent.

Thank you for your comments, I would like to let you know that since then we have done a lot of improvements on maintaining grounds, upgrading exterior light fixtures, new welcoming office team, new & improved maintenance staff that are getting things done. We are changing the tennis courts to a dog park area so that will be done mid 2016. We have also renovated the clubhouse & fitness area to where there is more room to exercise & provide classes in the near future. Please let us know if there are any issues that needs to be addressed immediately & it will be DONE! Elevate at Ancala is a 1 and 2 bedrooms gorgeous community, located in Scottsdale. Ideal for people that are looking for a secure community, close to 101 Freeway, shopping centers and restaurants. It is also close to good schools. The community has 2 pools, tennis court, club house, pet friendly and fitness center. The best of this community is its people at the front office, they know you by name and they make you feel cared. Elevate at Ancala is a community where luxury is affordable.
I moved in to this apartment in the end of june and can now say this is my home. The staff here are awesome. I had a problem with my apartment and they got on the job and fixed it. they were very understanding of my needs. and I would recommend this place to any one . you can tell the office manager knows her stuff (Anita) she pin pointed the problem had a company that there contracted with come out and re do the job the right way and when she told me when it would be done it was right up to the time and date . this is a very safe complex I feel comfortable walking around at night. Now I can actually say I love this place and she makes me feel like iam welcomed in this community thanks again Anita your great at your job .

I have been living at Broadstone Ancala for a year now. Everyone is very friendly at the front office and they try to assist you in any way possible. The property is also well maintained. It is located in a great spot close to restaurants and grocery stores.
