Nothing around here gets handled properly. The manager does not take care of things...they were not even ready for us to move in when it was supposed to be time...had to wait an extra month to move in...and it still wasn't ready! I cleaned the entire place myself because they didn't get their cleaning lady to clean up with all the time they had to do it, carpet didn't stretch to the walls correctly, too short. We have things broken that have been that way since we moved here almost 3 years ago..still not fixed. Bug problems, they hardly have anyone taking care of that, we have pulled money from our own pockets to try and help our situation! Pool has not been opened in 2 years. We have cleaned our own breezeway to keep our building nice... The manager favors certain people so they get certain privileges than others. She is also never in the office..she hardly answers the phone. A lot of things need to be done here. Management should be replaced she can't seem to handle the job. If she doesn't feel like dealing with it she won't. For instance she hangs up on her tenants. I don't recommend this place for ANYONE. Not to mention a few people including maintenance staff had COVID, a few other tenants also and she did not call to let anyone know to clean and sanitize the building.
I moved in October of 2018. The manager is amazing here along with maintenance. Im praying we can find a 2 bedroom here when our lease is up!! When we viewed the apartment i fell in love. I mean no it doesn't have a dish washer or laundry area.. But the pool is open all week but monday started towards the end of may. We enjoy it here and we really dont worry about anything!
WARNING!!! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR MONEY!! We left our apartment looking 1,000 times better than when we received it. Yet we did not receive our full deposit back, charging us what kathy called "reasonable charges" $25 for 3 burnt out light bulbs, $100 in cleaning fees, what she said is a normal charge. What!!? Maybe $50 for some kind of "cleaning" routine move out fee. My boyfriend and I cleaned that apartment top to bottom before we left so we could receive our full deposit back. Also, $25 in dishes that were not even ours, we took ALL our belongings!! The manager is untrustworthy, and unreliable.The place is old, busted up, raggedy, to say that it is horribly maintained is an understatement, they do absolutely nothing, but steal your money. We had an issue where our cabinets under our sink were molded and completely destroyed, the back wall under the sink had been eatin away by mice or who knows what. I notified her, but not once did she have someone come look at it because she stated having no maintenance so we waited and waited, nothing! The issues never taken care of!!! Yet she thinks its OK to charge these fees for an apartment that was left in BETTER condition when we moved out (destroyed cabinets included), than when we moved in. When she couldnt get someone to fix the molded, destroyed walls and cabinets, but can take our money to "hire" someone to come in and "clean" the vacant apartment (lease was up)... Ummmmm that was fast!! where was that fast action when our apartment needed attention, we waited 2 months with no response!! The issue we had was not something we caused, it was from how unmaintained the apartment already was. The money from the previous tenant was obviously not used to mintain the apartment. We contacted her right away and she argued with us, we requested to speak to someone else, she said "No, I'll tell him you're not happy, bye" Just happy to be out of that dump! Save yourself the time and DO NOT move in here!!! Go elsewhere, all bills paid is not worth it in this dump!!
They really need a different manager. I paid extra on my rent a few times and it never went towards my next rent. It's supposed to be all utilities included but I've gone without hot water for a while and I have children. My power was just now shut off without warning, it's the middle of summer and I just bought a bunch of food. They don't do anything to fix what needs done, they don't even bother to call you back. My mail mysteriously got blocked. Kathy is will do whatever it takes to keep your deposit. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!!!!!!!!!
Poor maintenance , Dishonest management(management will look for any reason to keep your security deposit, and not above lying to do so). The only thing good is all bills paid. Plumbing does not drain properly. Overall, a pile of junk. Not recommended !
The Jameson st apartment is a small complex. It's all bills paid and thats about the only thing it's got going for it. There is a small pool but it's only open on weekends. And only when the apartment manger feels like going down there to unlock the gates. The buildings are old and are in desperate need of upgrades and repairs. My shower wall has been needed to be replaced. I put in a work order but nothing was done. It took the shower tiles falling off the all onto my toddler to get something done about it. Would not recommend I'm just thankful my lease is up this month.
