Property Ratings at Jamestown Mobile Home Community
Attempted to apply for a home. Submitted all proper documents and waited almost a month before hearing back from the manager. Several attempts to contact her were unsuccessful. I got a text stating I didn't get approved. Also with no explanation why after I asked for one. Very unprofessional. The lack of communication was ridiculous.
I rented a mobile for one year. After moving, I steam cleaned carpets, wiped down walls & fixtures, painted front door, cleaned the unit to better than it was when I first moved in. Upon moving, I called and texted the park manager, Heather, several times within a weeks time, to have her walk thru the unit with me and to take pics to submit to receive my deposit back. I took pics and sent to her via FB message and again asked to walk thru. She set an appointment for 9pm. I was waiting at the mobile until 9:30pm, at which time I texted her again. She informed me she got my pics and that she was sure all was good. She said she'd walk thru in the morning. I told her I'd like to be there. She said ok. I texted her the next morning, and she said she would do it at 2pm. I was at work at that time and could not walk thru with her. To date, she will not return my calls or texts and I have not received my deposit back. Very unprofessional and quite frankly, I feel I've been cheated out of my $ 600 deposit. The unit was left in better condition when I left than when I moved in. There's absolutely no reason for her to keep my deposit, not to mention, simply ignore every attempt to contact her.
