An easy 20-minute drive via Interstate 26 takes residents into downtown Charleston and its multitude of restaurants and bars. The Charleston Air Force Base resides at the center of the outer North Charleston neighborhood, and due to this proximity, many current and former military personnel make the neighborhood their home. Home styles typically range from either mid-1900s ranch styles to between one- and two-story homes built in the 2000s.
Outer North Charleston residents enjoy easy access to international travel via the Charleston International Airport, which is located within the neighborhood. The North Charleston Coliseum, Charleston’s only coliseum and largest performance venue, provides residents with loads of entertainment.

Property Ratings at Jamison Park
Ive havent had a good experience since Ive gotten here. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. If I could break my lease and get a new better place I would. Its not worth the money I pay each month.
I have been a resident going on three years. The community is a nice place to live with the exception of trash compactor seems to always be broken and trash is left unattended at times. unfortunately the trash compactor is at the front entrance and it is so repulsive, when residents have visitors the first impression could be disguising. Other issue is residents not picking up behind their animals and throwing trash in the breeze way. Other than that I love my apartment and I have not really had issues that was not resolved.
If you are reading this, this is your warning to run far away from this place. Do yourself a favor and don't move here. Property management is awful. Garbage everywhere, dog poop everywhere, they don't care about your safety. We had an entire parking lot full of cars broken into and they could care less about getting security cameras installed (this was the second time my car was broken into on property). They didn't even bother to send out an email letting people know about the incident and warning people to make sure they don't have valuables in their cars. In fact, the morning it happened nobody could even get ahold of property management, in the hour plus that the police were filing police reports, management didn't even make an appearance! Bug infested (probably because they let people leave their garbage everywhere). Trashy, rude, loud residents will never give you peace and don't expect the office to care. My neighbor has had a gun pulled on her and her kids. I've been threatened with physical violence more than once by residents. Drugs found out in the open on property. I couldn't leave my house for two days when my door lock broke and it was like pulling teeth trying to get somebody to come fix it. Management does not care whatsoever. Staff is constantly changing so I can only assume the real issue is upper management. Just horrible all around. Do not move here. There are so many other apartment complexes to choose from, this one is literal trash.
Safe area and close to shopping area super market and doctor office and recreation area plus restaurant availability
The Apartments are very comfortable and the location is very centric. But honestly the employees here are horrible!
We have lived at Jamison Park for almost three years and have been very happy here. It is a quiet community and management does a good job keeping everything clean and kept up.
Jamison Park has made the entire leasing and move in process hassle free and convenient. I was asked down to floor level, layout, and move in what would make me comfortable as far as becoming a resident. Facilities are kept gorgeous, package pickup is by far the best Ive seen, and the community is very lenient when it comes to policies and allowing other residents the pets or accommodations they need.
Maintenance response is quick. Work is done fast and precise. Maintenance personal have a friendly and professional attitude. You really can't go wrong with Jamison
Is a friendly community and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
Great community, love the balcony space I have a private balcony in my room & another in the living area.
The staff have been very professional, attentive and friendly. The community feels safe and my commute to work has been great!
Very Peaceful place to live. I've been here for about 3 years now and we've only had one bad incident in my building. The complex is very well managed and folks seem to get along together pretty good.
DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!! THE WORST APARTMENT COMMUNITY I HAVE EVER LIVED IN. The property management allows anything to happen here and refuses to stand up to unruly residents, resulting in biweekly noise complaints to NCPD. There is always someone smoking weed on their balcony, the trash compactor is routinely packed and overflowing with maggot-filled trash, the maintenance staff is two people that barely have enough parts to repair anything, and I currently have four requests that are over two weeks old with no response or update yet.
Very nice staff. However, the rate is very expensive
AC went out. Maintenance was there within 30 minutes and fixed it.. Have always had a quick response and the maintenance crew has always been curtious.
I've lived in this community over a year and just recently upgraded to a larger unit. The property management is always super helpful and friendly, work orders are always completed within a few days, and the landscaping is pretty and well kept. The package HUB is also super convenient and secure, I never have to worry about where my packages are or whether I'll be home when they're delivered. Overall a really great complex!
Twice I've had random men (that plural 3 men) go onto my porch or the second floor 1st time I've called and no answer the second time I went to the office where I was told I'm expected to always lock my patio door even though I'm in the second floor, where they also told me I'm not to use it excessively for things like smoking or hanging out which then why give me a freaking patio they have no way to make it right other than to tell me it's my fault for going out on my patio. During the day I usually go out a few times for fresh air as I don't smoke but enjoy the fresh air they had no resolution for the problems and it wouldn't be a problem if they had given notice but there was not note or warning that there would be any maintenance involved for both times. Kim the property manager seemed both uncaring and bored of the issues that her residents had dealt with the issue poorly, if there had been any kind of notice I would understand but with no notice of 3 guys being in my porch for all I know I'm about to be robbed or worse I've lived in countless apartment complexes and have NEVER had an issue like this especially with such little compassion or understanding of you are looking for a complex to live in this is the worst one it's not close to downtown and traffic is horrible and normally the management would be able to have amenities to even out the playing field but this place is the worst and it would be a waste of money and sanity. I plan on leaving my lease early regardless of fees just so i can have my sanity back and peace of mind if you are ok with being freaked out once a week by strangers being in your private space then this is the place for you but I assume people appreciate having their privacy especially on the 2nd floor
