Property Ratings at Jasper Place by Trion Living
I lived here for over 3 years and dealt with mold the entire time. The mgmt always blamed living in Oregon but I’ve lived in Oregon my whole live and I’ve never had mold on furniture and on walls on windows on ceilings. On floors. I had leaks that were “fixed” only to find out a year later were not fixed and caused dripping water in my bathroom but there was “no mold” in the attic area… interesting. Don’t move here. ItS a joke.
I moved from sc to Beaverton about 6 years ago. All I knew was it was in a good school district. At first the office staff was pretty dirty but the apt was huge and it is close to everything. I have watched it go through changes and I am so happy . It is a little steep but you get you pay for.
We heard the old owner for this apartment complex are great. The new management is awful. The upgraded unit are just paint over paint everywhere. The sink is painted. The counter is painted. The cabinets are painted. The fire place yes, you guessed it, painted. With all this paint upgrade, it will all peel away in a month. They price quote apartment near and compare their-shelve better than other apartment, which is NOT TRUE. This place is a joke for the price everyone is paying. They say free garage and parking space, but its included in the base rent price, so it is false advertisement. They should honor the word "FREE GARAGE AND PARKING SPACE," advertised outside the apartment complex. The garbage situation is a joke. you will have to pay and extra fee on top of your base rental for trash collection managed by valet trash. I suggest do not rent or support this apartment complex. The rent will rise 10-15% every year. Do not be surprise if you rental goes to 2k easy for a painted upgrade. This place is very cold because the window is single pane. You will be paying more for electricity to heat the apartment up. Overall the unit and management are trash, but the neighbors are great people.
I applied for a specific apartment after over 6 months of waiting for it to open up. The price was right too. I did the online 'hold' for it and applied on line as well. I was approved right away. When I got there it turned out it was going to be about $250 more a month than was advertised. It was clear they just posted it to get a rush of $45 application fees. It expires too so id have to reapply if another one opens up. Go in first and make sure it's real before you apply. The apartments are nice though and so is the staff.
