Apartment is always very clean and smelling good. The staff are so friendly and always willing to help. Great location with access to waterfront, bars, restaurants, and Nats stadium. Wish there were more apartment events to meet people.

Communication is severely lacking. Just in the first month I've ran into the following issues: - Water completely shutoff for a day with no warning and no communication from building. - Someone was shot directly in front of the building entrance last night and I had to walk around police tape to get home. Again, no communication or safety updates from building. - Elevator down for a week and AC down for a week in gym. No communication from building. Issues happen, especially things that can't be controlled. But the lack of communication with residents, especially given the safety concerns of the neighborhood, is an issue. Would not recommend renting if you have options elsewhere.

Great leasing staff. The move-in process was very easy. Great location, easy walk to green line metro. Great access to Nats Stadium. World class luxury amenities. Some of the weekend concierge staff could be a little more professional. All in all a great place to live! Highly recommend!

Amenities, staff, and view are great, and the apartment is really nice. Lobby is beautiful too, great study/ work spot. Roof is also fantastic, with a great view of Nats park, the Capitol, and grills.

People are great, but pool was late to open. Great community space inside the apartment with good amenities. Location is good as well, except for having an alcohol store next door that seems to pander to already troubled people. They leave behind needles and broken bottles on the ground. Have to be very cautious walking my dog in the area.

I was one of the first residents to move in, and am so grateful to the entire team. I genuinely hate the general moving process, but the team here made it so much easier. They helped coordinate my move-in, accommodating my needs and ensuring everything went seamlessly. Their professionalism, empathy, and willingness to go the extra mile made all the difference. After 5 months of living here, I can confidently say my experience has been nothing short of exceptional.

It's been absolutely amazing! Everyone is suer nice. The apartments are lovely and all of the amenities are easily available to everyone. The roof top is a great place to wfh.
Staff have all been extremely helpful and kind, especially on move in day. They were attentive to my needs, and quick with their response time. The neighborhood is also great, lots of different places to go out for dinner and brunch, or even just drinks.
I was able to finalize my lease within a week. The staff is very helpful and very sweet! The building is brand new and it’s been a pleasure living here so far!

J Coopers Row is a beautiful brand new building with views into Nationals Park. Quick walk from the Metro and other Navy Yard sights! Price is on the higher side but it is worth the price for this luxurious living.

We're paying for top notch amenities but the gym is always way over heated and pool has yet to open despite it being almost August. Employees don't have any accurate info. Leasing was a mess.
The leasing staff was extremely helpful through the move-in process and although I'm brand new to the building, the receptionists know my name, making JCR feel like home already. I can't wait for the rooftop amenities to open! They look amazing but aren't complete yet!
I love living at J. Coopers Row! The staff are exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help. The building is super clean, and my unit has had zero issues—the appliances are great too. The location is fantastic, right near the metro, and the gym is also superb. The community is kind and respectful, with people usually keeping to themselves. My only issues stem from how new the building is, like the permits not being filled out for the pool and upstairs area, making them unusable at the moment. Overall, it's a great place to live, and I look forward to seeing it improve even more as these issues get resolved.
Everyone at the front desk was very helpful with our move in. The apartment is amazing and the building has so many amenities. The view from our terrace is amazing.

A/C has been broken for 24 hours right in the middle of a heat warning. Rooftop is over a month delayed. Only thing luxury about the apartments are the price tag.

It has only been a day here and I am so happy with my choice! I saw the building, my unit, and the staff for the first time on my move-in day and I instantly felt like I was home. Everyone was so welcoming, the building exceeded expectations, and the unit was just as shown in the virtual tour. The apartments are really nice, but the staff need’s better training. Moving in was quite difficult because staff did not have information or gave wrong information. They have been doing move ins for several months so I’m not sure why there was so much misinformation, but I would hope after the experience we had they will be better.

Just waiting for the rooftop. Aside from that, it's all good. The gym, Wifi and specially the study/work rooms. The location is great too, near everything that I need.
