Great Location

Jefferson Block has been a wonderful place to call home for the past 8 months. The staff have all been so friendly and active within the apartment community. When putting in maintenance requests, Thomas and other techs have always been fast and helpful. The building is in perfect walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and shops. We love the unit we’re renting and how it’s two stories and connected to the garage. We would 100% recommend Jefferson Block and are glad we chose it as a home!

Great place to live!

We've lived here almost 2 years and love it. It's a great building with very nice amenities in a perfect location (especially during festival season). The community is awesome and our building managers Brad and Cora put on fun events every month. Thomas and Dan are always quick to respond to maintenance requests and fix any issues that pop up. Highly recommend checking out Jefferson Block for your next apartment!

First place to call home in WI

Moving 1800 miles away from home with just what my fiancé and I could fit in our car was scary and exciting. We had lot on our plates with new job location, starting dental school and learning how to live in this new city, but overall this apt community has been great to us. The other residents I've met are so sweet, the front office is awesome (and actually knows my name), any service requests I've had for minor things have been taken care of before i even get home the next day, and its very clean. There are definitely cheaper options out there when renting, but I think you are getting what you pay for here for the most part and I plan to stay until i finish school!

I recently moved into Jefferson block with my roommate. We absolutely love how spacious the apartments are! We have a two story unit which makes it feel that much more homey. The location alone is great, within walking distance to multiple restaurants, shops, and bars. Excited to explore more of the Third Ward while living here!

These apartments are the perfect location for living downtown. There’s so many activity’s and shops nearby but is still overall pretty peaceful too. All of the residents are so nice and respectful!

Great Place to Live

I've lived here for about 2 years and I can't say enough great things about this apartment, the staff and location. The management team truly goes above and beyond, creating a warm and welcoming community. Cora and Brad are always extremely responsive, friendly, and willing to help with anything that comes up. So happy I moved here!

I moved here from out-of-state without physically seeing the apartment in person, and two weeks in I can say, I'm so happy with my choice! The team is great from leasing, to management and maintenance. I particularly want to shout out Cora for making my application and move-in process seamless, and Thomas who is super proactive and responsive with maintenance requests. The community is so welcoming and it seems like there are lots of events to participate in. Building amenities are great! And the neighborhood is the perfect location – walking distance from the Third Ward but far enough to have more quiet, and free, no-hassle parking.

Best apartment I have ever lived in!

As someone who has lived in many different apartment buildings, I am unbelievably impressed by Jefferson Block! Their staff(Brad, Cora, Thomas, Dan) truly does care about you and the building. The monthly events they have held have allowed us to meet so many new friends! The building is always clean and we have never had to wait more than a day to have any of our maintenance requests dealt with. I would recommend Jefferson Block to anyone looking to move to the area!

A Safe Place

Jefferson Block has been great to me and my boyfriend since moving in only a couple months ago. Very clean and quiet building which is very helpful and peaceful! Everyone is super friendly and the building is located in a great area (The Third Ward)! This was my biggest requirement when looking for a place to stay and with how easy and efficient the staff are here, it was a no brainer! Also is so much food, shops and more in walking distance!

Great Apartment in a Great Location!

Jefferson Block has been great for me and for my girlfriend. Move in process was super easy and smooth, got the lease and keys within the next day! The staff is great with communication and the area was my number one priority! There is so much to offer around here and yet there is little to no noise. Apartments are newer and spacious! Love this place!

We moved in about 5 months ago and have absolutely loved our experience! The staff is super kind and responsive and often host fun resident events. The location is incredible as well- walking distance to the lake, riverwalk, restaurants, coffee shops and more. Our apartment is updated, spacious and cozy. Couldn't have picked a better place to call home

Jefferson Block has truly been a home away from home for us. Coming from overseas, the management team made our transition incredibly smooth were so welcoming. They couldn’t have been more helpful. Any issues we've had are addressed quickly and with genuine care. It's fantastic knowing someone is contactable 24 hours a day if needed. Our apartment is comfortable and spacious, with excellent sound-proofing. We love that it's located on the quieter side of the Third Ward, but still close enough to walk to all the fantastic restaurants. The community here is wonderful with lots of opportunities to meet people, especially if you have dogs! We can't recommend Brad and his team highly enough. They are the best we've ever had, and after nearly two years here, we've happily signed on for another term.

5 Stars for Jefferson Block Apartments

I've enjoyed living in Jefferson Block apartments for five years. Besides being in the heart of the Historic Third Ward, the apartments have great layouts, are bright with natural sunshine, and are spacious and clean. The management and maintenance teams are friendly and responsive. Managers Brad and Cora are always ready to help, and Tom and Dan of maintenance respond incredibly quickly and do excellent work. Overall, 5 stars!

Great Building ! Great Location ! Great People !

The fact the building is in a Great Location is just convenient to the fact the Staff and Units are 5 Star ! Have lived here 5 years with no complaints . Maintenance is just minutes away from any problem you may have. Units are designed for todays lifestyle with plenty of storage and usable space ! Fantastic Place to Live

Five years of living here and we love it more every day. Short walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and cultural exhibits. Staff and maintenance are a huge part of the feeling of community here. Many group functions and activities to meet people here.

The location of JB is perfect- so much to do and all within walking distance. The staff, Cora and Brad, are not only very nice, but extremely responsive. Love how they are creating a community by hosting events in the building and around the Ward.

Wonderful Location and Office Staff

The location is perfect. Third Ward living right by Lake Michigan, the Festival grounds concert venues, fine dining and theaters. There are many social events that bring the community together. The office staff are friendly, attentive, trustworthy and prompt. Maintenance staff is also very prompt. I love living at the JBlock!

Wonderful place to live!

My wife have lived at JBlock for three years and we absolutely love it. The location is great, the neighbors are great, the maintenance is spectacular and the office staff does a wonderful job of creating a special community with regular events and get togethers. If you're ever looking for an apartment in a great location, I cannot recommend JBlock enough.

Great Experience

Jefferson block is in a great location and a wonderful community. Both the maintenance and leasing staff have been extremely responsive and helpful with any problems or concerns. Top notch space, support team and sense of community

Love living here. We moved in ~3 months ago from a place on Prospect, overlooking the lake. Why did we move here? Because not only is the building secure and quiet, but the team is proactive, organized and thoughtful. There is an organized option to either walk over to the front office (in the same building), always open during business hours or put in work orders for things going on in your unit - you decide priority, if you'd like to speak with someone immediately (walk over to the office) or if you want to just put in a work order. There are also wonderful events, most sponsored, to support community. So far, we went to a happy hour at Camp (sponsored pizza and a drink!), a brunch with Make Your Own Omelet station, and next we'll be heading to a Halloween event. Great location, great team. Brad is awesome, as is the rest of his team. Also, they will not hard sell you. You'll see the space, make your individual decision. We hope to be here for an extended period. Thank you Jefferson Block.

Peaceful Living

Jefferson Block provides peaceful living in the heart of the third ward. You get away from all the noise of downtown while still having entertainment, restaurants, friendly people, DOGs and anything you may need in a safe and enjoyable location. Very responsive and caring management team. Friendly neighbors. Large units. Very happy I chose this location when moving to Milwaukee.

Current Resident - Unit 610

I moved in here in May and love it so far. Management is very responsive, all work orders have been completed on the same day, and the property is very quiet. Being in the Third Ward is also the best! Lots to do, eat and see.

5-Star - Third Ward Living

I really enjoyed living at Jefferson Block Apartments. The 3rd Ward location provides easy access to the lakefront, Milwaukee's OakLeaf Trail bicycle paths, downtown, the freeway - and festivals! My apartment had a kitchen layout better than my new house; I was spoiled with countertop & cabinet storage space. I was able to grill-out (gas) on my large balcony year round. Shout out to Charles & Heather - the office staff is friendly, responsive, and has a long-lasting history with the building and our neighbors. Life changes took us out of the area - but I would look to return if the option came about. Thanks JB!

Living here is the best!

Don’t even second guess living at Jefferson Block Apartments. The staff is so kind and attentive. I’ve never lived where an apartment manager knew my name and face! The location is unbeatable and the apartments are all so cozy and spacious!

Great Place to Live

Jefferson Block staff are wonderful. They are responsive and very nice. This includes office and maintenance staff. The cleaning service is doing a good job keeping the building clean especially during COVID. The location in the Third Ward is great. Other than when festivals are going on, there is generally parking on the street available for guests.
