Between Bismarck and the border with Montana there is only one sizable town on Interstate 94, and that location is Dickinson, North Dakota. Set in big, rolling hills prairie land, Dickinson was first established in 1881 as settlers and prospectors pushed westward looking for land and ranching resources. Interestingly enough, the town was first settled and founded by a New Yorker -- W.S. Dickinson from Malone, NY.
Today, Dickinson is home to almost 20,000 residents, which is a growth of more than 2,000 new neighbors since 2010. Much of the grown has been associated with the oil industry boom the state has been realizing with shale deposit mining and the demand for technical labor in drilling and geology. In fact, with all the workers counted, some estimate that Dickinson has more than 30,000 residents, a good portion being oil workers.

Property Ratings at Jefferson Creek
Jefferson Creek Apartments was the best apartments. We were from GA and moved to Dickinson. Jefferson Creek was able to get us in the same day and were very helpful with all things we needed. During move out Rebekah was easy to work with and very understanding and helpful with all questions and concerns!
Property Manager at Jefferson Creek, Responded To This Review
Hi Heather A., we are very happy to have provided you with such a positive experience! We do miss you as a resident, but we hope everything is going well for you. Have a wonderful day!
Set up an appointment to view an apartment the next night at 6:00. They called the next day and left a message to call back. I called back several times throughout the day with no answers. Left a message saying I was told to call. Went to my appointment and no one was there nor would they answer the phone. Was there 5 minutes early and waited till 10 after. A complete waste of time.
