Jenkintown, Pennsylvania is a historic little suburb just north of Philadelphia where art and architecture come together. Renters will find that they have a wide range of living possibilities in this city. The SEPTA rail lines that stop in the Jenkintown-Wyncote station make public transportation easily accessible to the community, and the new plans to restore and rebuild certain parts of the city create a good mix of the old and new.
Art is an important part of Jenkintown, and one of the most prominent displays of this is the Abington Art Center. This center is a mix of galleries, studio spaces, and gardens all inside the historic Alverthorpe Manor. There are also more causal art galleries that find their home in other historic buildings that make up the town.
Art isn’t the only attraction to this city; Jenkintown has great opportunities for shopping and dining.

Property Ratings at Jericho Manor Apartments
Great location, can rent a garage for a reasonable price. No dishwasher, but trees and hardwood floors, and walkable to both Jenkintown-Wyncote station and Noble station. Feels like a home. Abington schools.
I can not imagine finding another home that I would love more then my apartment at Jericho Manor. From the moment I met the property manager Tami and she gave me a tour of the grounds I knew I had arrived home. The grounds are enchanting and the apartments are very spacious. Management of this property is excellent. Tami ROCKS !!! If Tenants have questions or issues they are addressed efficiently and effectively. It’s a well operating property and I that find that to be not only refreshing but comforting as well. I give Jericho Manor two thumbs up. Carolyn W. Tenant
I can't wait to move. Property manager is nasty to the tenants.
My family and I recently moved here last year in February. I have experienced friendly neighbors, positive atmosphere and a pet friendly environment. My apartment is very spacious with hardwood floors, ceiling fans ,new windows with a pleasant breeze flowing through. washer, dryer and storage unit right downstairs which is convenient. Property Manager and Maintenance is on point and is on top of the job right away. The stores, markets, hospital and mall is a few minutes away. I love my place and I moved here so my children can go to a great school which is rated a 9 out of 10. My children love how their school is just feet’s away and made friends right away. We are Happy here

Thank you so much for this lovely review Tami & the guys are doing a great job and we are so glad you are enjoying Jericho Manor!
Do not live here. Might have that vintage charm at first, but this place is falling apart and management does nothing to maintain it. Paint is peeling off the walls and cracking. They praise that the apartment still has their original hardwood floors, and you can definitely tell because they don’t do anything to make them look nice. Also, whoever painted my apartment did a terrible job because you can find paint on those “original” hardwood floors. Plus, the landlord will gripe about anything and everything that you do. Also, shared entrances are never cleaned properly. It is also unbearably hot all year round. The AC units are in the window and you have to manually switch them on and off during the summer. During the winter, the radiators are always going even when off. I would give this place 0 stars if I could.

Sorry to hear this. We wish you had reached out & let us know about your displeasure, we would have tried to work with you & improve the things you were frustrated with. Jericho Manor is an older building certainly, but contrary to your post, we do work diligently at upkeep and care of the property. Good luck in your new home.
I lived here 4 years and every year was great. Management always was there for me when I had issues or concerns and the maintenance employees always took care of problems ( big or small ) quickly . Tami does a wonderful job running the place and couldn’t be a nicer person to deal with every time . She never fell short solving problems . Two thumbs up to this complex and the folks that run it daily . Thanks again for making the time spent living here great !

Thank you for the kind words! We agree our team at Jericho are a great group! We appreciate you taking the time to share!
First, the parking lot here sucks. There are not many parking spots and if you want a valid parking space then you have to be home early or else you have to park on the side of the street. The manager and maintenance has changed over the years and it's been great until now. These days, the maintenance are taking forever to follow up with my request to fix lights in the hallway and etc. The problem solving by the manager and maintenance was great over the past years but I am having a very hard time getting something done these days in time. I've been waiting for weeks and days for some type of response and as of now, the problem I had weeks ago is still on going. This is not a very new apartment so the help of maintenance is going to be needed from time to time. It's great if they respond within few days and get the problem done but these days, it's been slow.

If you are referring to Door 18 hallway lights, someone accidentally turned the switch off, it was addressed, it was turned back on & is functioning. If there are any other issues please contact the office & we will see to it that they are taken care of. If you are interested in renting a garage, please contact the office that would guarantee a spot for you. The maintenance guys are working hard to see that all requests are taken care, we have received a lot of positive feedback about the team.
My wife and I lived here for several years, we just love the area, so close to the city but not in the city. This appartment building has something for everyone, it's not perfect but what is? it's the best by far. The current Manager is the best, we lived here and saw at least two managers come and go, this one is very attentive, and she goes above and beyond. Not only does this place offer great apartments but also 1,2,and 3 bedroom Townhouses. So if you need to upgrade you can still stay here or So if you're considering moving, come out and take a look you will be surprised.

I've lived in many apartments and this is my favorite by far. Surrounded by green grass and trees, yet close to so many stores and restaurants. This place has a special charm to it. Highly recommend!

Thank you for this wonderful review! We are so pleased you that have found Jericho to be a great place to call home.
Great location is what it has for itself. Other then that... no hot water. This has been an issue going on for months. Renters have complained. Fixed for a month and back to no hot water. Windows are painted shut. Walls are this so you can hear your neighbors. You can hear your neighbors above. Washing machines are located in other units.

Sorry to hear this. There was an issue with one of the heating systems in one of the buildings, it was addressed, it just was hard to pinpoint the issue. Once the problem was identified it, it was promptly fixed. We apologize for any inconvenience this caused. If you have an issue with your windows, please contact the office & maintenance will address it. There are laundry facilities on site.
