Property Ratings at Jordan Station
My husband and I have lived here for almost two years. We are moving end of October to California to be closer to family but it’s super bittersweet. We LOVE it here. The staff are always so happy, kind, personable, and helpful! We love our one bedroom unit and the maintenance always comes and fixes things promptly! Great location and everyone is very dog friendly which we love since we have had three pups here. We love this place a ton. Such a great feeling and great people! Best place! We will miss it a ton!
Property Manager at Jordan Station, Responded To This Review
Dear Anonymous, Thank you for such fantastic praise! I am so glad you have been happy here and I know we will miss you too! We wish you the best for all your future endeavors! Regards, Kammie Gunn Community Manager
Went in on online price. Was told online price is roughly $100 cheaper then actual price. Attempted to Contact management on three separate occasions and never heard anything. Was happy to rent from them if they had been willing to honor the listed price. I’d recommend another complex that communicates better and more honest. ** update. I called in to discuss this further and find a solution.I explained that I felt the communication was poor and i felt the staff had treated me poorly. The manager told me i was "wrong" that her staff is "awesome" and that she refuses to rent to me. hands down worse customer service i have received in this area for apartment hunting
This place really deserves negative stars!!! It is really that bad. DON’T EVER MOVE IN HERE!!! Run far far away, THIS PLACE IS RIDICULOUSLY NOISY!!!!! Leasing staff and management are horrible, crooked and liars!. Everything always break! Parking garage has been broken for a moth. Maintenance is very nice, but when they come out to fix something it is in worse shape. I’ve hard to start fixing stuff on my own just to do it right. They charge ton of different fees, it is crazy expensive. Save yourself the headache and money. DONT EVER RENT HERE!!!!
I love this place! It absolutely feels like home, and a luxurious one at that. It has its problems, but every problem I've had has either been quickly dealt with by management, or so overshadowed by all the great things about this place that I don't even care. 92/100, which I guess is 5 stars. --Management: Great! Pleasant to deal with. --Construction: Very nice. Seems rushed in places, but nothing prohibitively off. --Parking: Open, limited. Underground costs extra, but is worth it. --Location: Close to River Front business complex (1.2 kilometer walk for me to work each day) and the mall. --View: When the sun hits that ridge just right... these hills sing. --Utilities: Effective, high quality. I wish I didn't have to pay for TV with my Internet. Oh well. --Community: Not sure. I don't see much of them. Quiet, seems friendly enough. Every now and then I hear lovely piano music during the day. --Security: I don't trust the app used for door locks and A/C, but I'm paranoid from working in cloud software. There is a redundant, non-electric lock, so I'm happy. --Miscellaneous: Barren of pokemon, internet is the best I've ever had, the A/C is great.
Most people here at Jordan Station share two things in common. First, we like nice things or we don't have a lot of nice things so we want something very nice and your home is where you start. Second, we came here looking for a place to call HOME. A home that's clean and quiet, safe and secure, and when you drive into the parking garage after a long day you breathe a sigh of relief, "Thank God... I'm home!" I began with "Most people" because as we know not all communities or neighborhoods are perfect. However, as one of the first residents I am witnessing those few who don't want to keep our community (and their home) clean and quiet and safe and secure weed themselves out very quickly, and as a former leasing agent I will remind you that every negative review left on a community or neighborhood is a direct reflection of who that person really is and are "one of the few" as mentioned above. So if you are looking for a nigh perfect community with an amazing staff that is prompt, genuine, personal but professional, and finally a clean, quiet, safe, and secure location; your soon to be neighbors look forward to "Welcoming you home."
Yes, they are new and pretty inside, but trust me, DO NOT FALL FOR IT. If you do make the mistake of moving here, be prepared to hear everything (yes, EVERYTHING) your neighbors are doing because of the laughably thin walls. And guess what, no matter how quiet you are, they are going to hear EVERYTHING you do too! You will be promised many, many things that don't actually exist. They were incredibly misleading when we moved in. We've lived here for 9 months and have never had a pool, mountain bikes, pet washing station or dog park, outdoor space, storage units, or about half of what is says in the amenities list. It took MONTHS for us to get a elevator, fitness center, and even mail boxes! But guess what? We still get to pay a premium price for all of these things that don't exist! Yay! The management is nice when they don't have to help you, but as soon as you have a problem they could not care less about you. You'd think they'd work with you on minor things after lying through their teeth, but nope, they only care about your payment and when you're locked into a contract they don't have to deliver ANYTHING in return. The amount they charge for water/sewer is criminal ($80/month for two people). When there isn't constant construction, there is still the freeway and train noise. Oh, and there isn't any way to let visitors in except to go down to the main doors and let them in yourself (which is more inconvenient than it sounds--but just imagine having a party with visitors that show up in 5 minute intervals for an hour). Look, there are so many options in the area, at least give those a look before you get sucker punched by living here. I would never recommend it to anyone who wants privacy, peace and quiet, or a good value. And if you STILL want to move in after this review, will you please come buy our contract because we can't wait to get out of here!
The management is very rude. They have lied to us about several things including the content of documents that they told us to sign. The parking lot is not managed well. It is almost always icy during the winter. The managers will nickel and dime you. For the first few months I made my payments exactly on time. I was three days late on rent this month. There is a $150 late fee on day 3. They immediately served a 3-day notice to pay or vacate on day 3. They charged me $150 late fee and a $25 service fee. (And this place is already expensive, especially considering that they charge you $90 for water and sewer.) I didn't get any friendly reminders to pay--they just went straight to pay us or we will evict you. Total jerks. The apartments shake whenever the train goes by. It is annoying. I was terrified for the first month my TV would fall to the floor because it shook so bad. The appliances are new but they are cheap. Everything has a veneer of high quality, but when you live her for a little while you realize that the cabinets and bathroom fixtures are made of really low quality materials that break easily. It is very frustrating. The hallways are always dirty. The floors are thin. I can often hear my downstairs neighbor talking and I'm sure she can hear me. They have really terrible customer service at this place. I do not feel welcome in my own home. I would steer clear.
You pay high price for a NOT so amazing apartment complex. Biggest problem of living in my apartment is that the ceiling, floors and walls are too thin. You can feel and hear everything once your upstairs neighbor is home. Seriously I think the upstairs neighbor has about 3 or 4 dogs running up there. Really there should be restrictions on the size and quantity you are allowed to have. From what i gather from my next door neighbors that too is also the problem. I even invited one of my next door neighbor to come and experience what i go through everyday. He said that his upstairs apartment noise is bad also but not as bad as mines. The upstairs neighbor is being totally inconsiderate. There has to be some equal grounds here. I too pay rent and I too want to have some peace in my own apartment. What is worse is that the staff you trust to help out has done nothing to help solve this problem. Staff is certainly not helpful. Once you sign the lease you are on your own. Don't make that mistake. Don't trust your life here at Jordan Station. You will be miserable.
The management at this complex is horrible. They are rude, unresponsive and extremely disrespectful. I was planning on moving here but I've since decided to move elsewhere based purely on the management. The buildings shake when the TRAX goes by and there is horrible construction noise all the time. Everything is dirty and the apartments themselves are far from their description of 'luxury'. There are a million nice apartment complexes in this area to choose from, it is not worth dealing with the management here, pick a different one!
Although this place is still under construction because it's very new, I see much potential for this place. The staff here and really friendly and helpful. There were some setbacks in regards to the move in date, but they were very prompt with informing us. Definitely recommend.
Although this place is still under construction because it's very new, I would still reccommend. The interior is very luxurious, along with the color scheme. This place had great potential once finished. There were some setbacks with the move in date, but the staff are really friendly and helpful and provided us with any questions or concerns we may have had. I reccommend this place as a future residence. Also, it's close to the train, which is a plus.
