Located about 12 miles away from Downtown Savannah, Windsor Forest is one of the city’s oldest residential neighborhoods. Windsor Forest is also home to the Armstrong Campus of Georgia Southern University. Windsor Forest has apartments, condos, townhomes, and single-family houses available for rent at various price points. True to its name, Windsor Forest is a quiet wooded neighborhood with Spanish moss-draped oaks and beautiful magnolia trees. The area also has several parks like Joseph Tribble Park, which has a pond for fishing. There are restaurants, grocers, and big-box stores along Abercorn Street, the neighborhood’s northern border, but residents also have easy access to more shopping hubs like Oglethorpe Mall, which is only four miles away.

Property Ratings at Joseph Landing
I recently moved into these apartments. I was told it was newly restructured. I was told it had new black appliance, cabinets and counter tops. I have not been able to see what they looked like before the new stuff was added but it is really nice. The people in the office have been great and I have met maintenance which was very nice.
Lived here 3 years and very unpleased with the services & staff well Mrs. Tammy the leasing consultant she’s a nightmare she continued to Bill your account with hidden fee’s & charges. And she shows little to no empathy. You would think someone who has been committed to this property for 3 years and I’ve paid their rent & fee’s on time would have had a better experience, but it was the worst. Thank God I’ve absolutely moved on and I absolutely love my new complex and the staff. I pray that no one get caught in these ridiculous lengthy lease at Joseph Landing and pay ridiculous amount of fee’s for these run down Apartments!!
Horrible. Heavy lack of information provided by the leasing office workers. Rude workers in the leasing office (Tammy). Any damages done to the aprtment is YOUR FAULT especially damage to the cheap paint. The owner walked in while I was showering after "knocking" and unlocking my door and got upset that I was indecent.
Property Manager at Joseph Landing, Responded To This Review
I apologize if you feel you have not been giving enough information in regards to any situation. If you would like to stop by the office we would be more then happy to help you with this. Residents are notified of upcoming inspections with a 48 hour window.
Great place to live. Quiet, friendly, and respectful.
As far as the neighbors they are really friendly and the environment is quiet and no crime, no problems. The leasing consultants Monica and Porsha are very friendly and we love our maintenance guys. They are absolutely the best. Anytime something needs to be fixed they are on it.
This complex is the worse. I been here 3 years. They dont help with anything. I came in on Kings cove so I was getting a student discount and a carpet discount and they took both of them away without letting me know. They dont offer to do anything and make the tenants feel appreciated. At first it was a good decision but when the new property manager switched and came in it was a bad decision from that moment on.
Been here for several years. No real repairs have been made to the apartments but the rent goes up every renewal period. At this point your paying today's rates for 1990's apartments.
My wife and I have lived here for over a year and there are a lot of good things about the apartments. It is pet friendly, laundry availability, close to downtown without the noise, safe area, nice interiors, pool, gym, pet walking areas, and friendly neighbors. Now for the bad parts, some of which are not deal breakers but they are little things that would not take effort to fix, yet the staff does not do so. When you receive a package and the mail folks give it to the office staff the staff NEVER informs you that it ever arrived. The pet deposit is outrageous, $500 to be exact. Our air condition unit has been faulty since we moved in and whenever they are called to fix it, they do temporary fixes. Dryers are not great in the laundry mat. The maintenance staff lets themselves into your house after a knock, so if you are in the shower and they let themselves in you might be in for a no so pleasant experience, I know because my wife almost experienced this. And finally upon renewing our lease they had increased our rent for NO reason. It was only by $10 but there was never any real explanation given as to why it happened which we felt was strange. Perhaps we are picky or perhaps these are legit complaints, either way is it bad to live here? No. Could it be better if the staff made smaller efforts? Yes.
We have lived here for many years. The complex has been under new management for the past three and half years. The management has not done a great job at inspecting the apartments, our maintenance are limited on their supplies, and the owner is only here once a month. The resident manager is barely visible and the thing that is constant is that the grounds are groomed every week. They constantly, have people moving in and out. Within, a week or two they have someone else moving in that apartment. My apartment kitchen sink is always backing up from the apartment over top of me. They called the plumber to unclog but every few months they have to do it again.
This is the third apartment we have had in this complex and the second owner. Currently, we have two adults and two children living in a two bedroom apartment. My sink is constantly backing up and we need a bigger place because I have a female and male child.
It's a choice but not the best choice these apartments are old and outdated and instead of renovating it's a lot of patch work done and they make you give a 60 day notice instead of 30 which makes it difficult to find a place without paying rent in two places. Management smiles in your face but really couldn't care less about your living conditions
