Property Ratings at Jubilee Estates
I lived here for 2 years and at first I thought it was a great apartment,WRONG. Things fell apart and maintenance would take weeks to come and fix it,they would say it wasn’t their problem and hold off on doing THEIR JOB. One guy even admitted that the place’s foundation was poorly put in. We had a leak from the tub which was directly above the kitchen sink/Counter and it puddled into the kitchen so bad, they tried to blame us for it! The bathtub water ran black and brown as well as the sinks, couldn’t shower there for about a week. There ARE RATS,luckily we had dogs so the rats stayed away but where the boiler room was there was TONS of rat droppings, our neighbor who didn’t have dogs unfortunately her apartment was infested so bad it was affecting her childrens health and she just packed up and left. Definitely not worth it
At firs they will advertise a price, then raise the price when you see the lease. After fighting with them to give you the price they will increase your rent $200 every year & will never contact you about renewing your lease will just adjust the price after you've paid your normal lease. Leaving you with no option besides renewing.
This is the most disgusting, evil and unprofessional leasing office I have ever lived in. It’s infested as well as them constantly fluctuating rent and ignoring maintenance issues. I would recommend a shelter before renting here.
We were apartment shopping for a long time before we finally found Jubilee estates. We always look out for that extra spark that separates the GOOD from the EXCEPTIONAL, and that is what we found here more then we could have expected! We knew right away when we came to see our apartment that this was going to be our new home. The staff were helpful and courteous, and seemed to take a genuine personal interest in us and our family. Looking forward to signing a lease next week!
I am sad to be leaving this property after three years here, as my career demanded that I move away. This place has been a home to me and my family, and we will miss the friendly neighbors and atmosphere. We just stopped by the office on our way out for the last to say goodbye to Edison, Sarah and Viviana, and I decided to leave this review. We can only hope the staff at our new home in Texas will be so friendly and willing to help! Goodbye Jubilee Estates, our home sweet home. We will miss you.
Wish I could give this place 0 stars. Absolutely horrible customer in the office. They do not have the common courtesy to answer any emails or phone calls, if you have any questions regarding anything GOOD LUCK GETTING IT!!! Not to mention they are also never in the office during office hours. The apartments may look “nice” but everything is remodeled with the cheapest of qualities. Paint chips off when you try & clean the walls, the hot water lasts about 2 seconds, the “convenient” laundry mat on site is always under maintenance and they give NO notice when they will be entering your apartment for inspection. Absolutely horrible all around. Would not recommend to anyone!
The apartments LOOK nice, but its not worth it. They come with mice and bugs. The walkways and parking lots are constantly covered with garbage, which probably contributes to this. When they mow, they leave grass everywhere. When they plow, you have to dig your car out. Our windows were broken and didn't open. Our heat never worked properly. Our shower wouldn't drain. We concluded we were given something that shouldn't have been inhabitable. Maintenance is questionable and has to be called multiple times, office staff are rude and unhelpful. Its very difficult to get anything resolved if you have a job and can't wait around. The neighborhood is also not the best, but what's worst of all is the standard this place is ran by.
The “24 hour emergency maintenance” doesn’t come the day of your emergency. They come TWO DAYS after they were called. Had a horrible smell in my kitchen do to a mice problem that we have tried to bring to their attention MULTIPLE Times and none of my calls were answered. I was told a person would be coming to fix the problem after 1 pm and I made 4 calls after that leaving voicemails as well. NO ONE EVER SHOWED. we had to move all the appliances to find what it was and of course we found it. This place is in now way worth the price of what it is. Absolutely horrible.
Crackheads and thugs walk around this place constantly. It is a dangerous place to live. Carry a knife on you or pepper spray, yes, it is that unsafe. Chances are you will get robbed. Especially if you go to CCSU and have laptops, TVs, game systems, whatever. I saw gang members around, drug deals, assaults, and just general low lifes. Stay away!!!!
My apartment is really cozy in a quiet area in New Britain. It is close to the schools, shopping and the bus line. The rent is affordable and management is very pleasant.
