As its name implies, Shoreline is nestled along the Puget Sound. Shoreline prides itself on being a standout suburb of Seattle. The city boasts a supportive, healthy, and active community. Unlike other suburbs in the area, Shoreline has 14 defined neighborhoods and volunteers work together while coordinating special events and implementing “neighborhood mini-grant” projects. Throughout these 14 united neighborhoods, you’ll find over 40 public art installations, which is one of the many ways Shoreline expresses support for the arts. In fact, there are over 15 art festivals held each year! Safe neighborhoods with a strong sense of community paired with affordable housing options for every budget and excellent schools make this town a family-friendly place to rent in.
Community events and free time often take place at the great parks across the city. Shoreline has over 400 acres of land dedicated to parks.

Property Ratings at Junction 160
About the apartment there are somethings I like and don't like. I like it cause It's close to markets, safe and quit neighborhood. The managements are great, Melle helps me with anything that I need. The apartment amenities are great but I don't like the way its built or design cause it hurts my back when I use the sink, cooking or using kitchen desk and the shower head because of my height. This is why I was having hard time whether I should move out or not, sometimes I was thinking about moving but sometimes I want to stay. I bought height table and adjust chair will see if this helps for another year. This probably won't be a good place for someone who is very tall.

I wished signing or renewal was online too so I don't have to fill out or sign paper by hand. This is by far the worst building ive ever lived at, its strictly due to the management and who owns the building. There are a number of problems that countless residents have experienced. I am by no means the only one, and by no means "that one bad review." This is a management company to stay away from if you want to be viewed as an actual human being renting a home... I pay rent and on time. So i am not complaining because they didnt extend some type of privilege that others dont get. Im not complaining here. Im simply warning other people as a common curtousy. They send threatening emails regularly to the entire complex threatening eviction. They are uncontactable, dont worry, it only gets worse once you move in. Ive been here for over a year ans held on hoping it would get better and maybe it was just a couplw bad experiences, oe that what other people werw saying wasnt true.. but unfortunately its come to be obvious that this company does not plan on updating its understanding of ethics and humanity. They take forever on anything maintenance as well. The regular building wide threatening emails are highly anxiety enducing for someone with anxiety, even when they have nothing to do with the emails (meaninf they were clearly directed at someone else, however the content and demeanor in which they expressed their concerns to everyone was highly confrontational, and completely lacked any understanding that they are renting homes to human beings...) definitely chalk this company up to one that has bot put any effort into how to create a good profit to experience ratio and simply ONLY FOCUS on ways to profit. You pay two processing fees each month for them to force you to pay your utilities on their website. This is the least of all the problems and really isnt a big one. But with allllllll the little things and the multiple big problems they have posed, its just no longer worth feeling uncomfortable in my own home. Months back their system messed up for the entire complex and there were multiple residents who didnt catch it, and without letting anyone know this error occured, they threatened, or tried to, evict multiple residents in the building. Without any heads up like hey our system messed up we will give you some time to sign in and repay that month of rent that was sent back (or not processed correctly) for the entire building.. and without any heads up or warning they attempted to act like, and blame, multiple residents for the problem....
I've been here just under a year and will not renew my lease. Well, I don't think I can: I've asked three times what the rent would be if I decided to renew and have never heard back from the variety of managers who seem to work here. But here are the problems: this is a 40 year old building that was remodeled just under 2 years ago and it was clearly done on the cheap. There was a rain gutter flapping in the wind a couple of months ago that took them weeks to repair, the public areas are a complete pit, the hallways show stains on the walls, the elevators are gross and old (they should have replaced them when they remodeled the place), they have had several break-ins over the past few months. One time the thieves stole several Amazon packages just before New Years and a few weeks ago it looked like someone used a crowbar to break into the leasing office. I'm really surprised that cars haven't been broken into since the parking lot isn't secure and the local meth dealers use the parking lot to complete drug deals in broad daylight. And since Keviette left you never see anyone from the management company in the building. Keviette wasn't that great but at least she was a presence on the property a couple of times a week. Now, they have no one coming in. And for the rent they charge....seriously, look elsewhere.
waste of time killed my mood for the day, was pretty excited to view this place now the guy isent even responding
The apartment building has some serious maintenance issues that never seem to get addressed. Right now there are problems with both of the entrances to the building, one problem that has been unresolved for nearly two months. This is pretty bad for an apartment building that was just renovated a little over a year ago. There is also a problem with bike theft if you use the buildings semi-secured bike storage area. And it would be nice if the parking lot (that you have to pay for if you want to park) was gated and secured from Linden Avenue much like the apartments across the street. Inside the apartments isn't that bad though much of the renovation was done on the cheap: it's almost like the owners ran short on money and started to cut corners. But you do have a really decent sized balcony so you can smell your neighbors below or above smoking cigarettes (or one of the former managers from Pinnacle Group) and the apartments themselves are really nicely sized and laid out. The noise level isn't as bad as others have mentioned and the rent for what you get IS really too expensive. There are similar places in Seattle for a couple of hundred dollars less I'm finding.
Have been here for almost a year and will not be renewing. It's good if you are a college student as its close to the community college, and you pretty much will feel like you are living in an overpriced dorm room. If you are a working adult find some place else. People pretty much treat this place as if it's not their problem: dog poop not picked up, trash along walkways, trash put next to the bins instead of inside, spills in the elevator, the smell of cigarette or weed smoke in the stairwell, the list goes on. Also, the walls are thin. If you aren't on the 4th floor, forget it. You will hear every step, every door slammed, everything. Also, you are 2 blocks from Aurora. I dont mind urban living but get used to hearing fire/police constantly. Management is approachable but slow to address issues. I really haven't seen maintenance since they sold the property. They did put in new appliances and brought the apartments to a more modern template but you get what you pay for. It's cheaper than a lot of places, but I won't renew.
Cheaply built and not worth the money. Parking is the worst even if you pay for a spot. I really wished I would have gone some where else. I regret moving here.
