Property Ratings at Kabin
Alarm in the lobby constantly goes off- I would hate to live near that. The area surrounding always smells because of the lack of clean up of the dog bag trashcans. They charge $300 of your security deposit for painting when you moved out. (Told me I was lucky I wasn't charged $400 for the ceiling painting). After a lot of back and forth I received a refund of $200. I have never heard of a leasing company charge for painting as they are required to paint after each tenant (which they admitted).
Don’t even think about living here. WASTE OF MONEY. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU AND JUST WANT YOUR MONEY. Pool is literally the worst apartment pool I’ve ever seen. Cars get stolen left and right, super expensive to live in a broken square box because maintenance does nothing. 0/10 don’t live here.
my boyfriend & i both had our vehicles stolen right out of the parking lot. “24 hour security” is a complete joke. pool sucks. there’s no bathroom or place to change but they so generously put a port-a-potty for everyone. gym is tiny. worst living experience of my life. maintenance sucks there’s no front desk in the lobby with someone you can talk to. complete waste of my money. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. i don’t know how this place has almost 5stars.
Zero 24 hour maintenance, zero. Need something, good luck. there is no front desk, the best you can do is hope hope they answer an email in a prompt manner. I sit here at 3:30am with no air conditioning, none. They do not have an emergency maintenance number to call. I've left voicemails and emails, yet i will have to go to a hotel tonight just to sleep. This is the worst place i have ever lived and I cannot wait until my lease is up. How this place has 5 stars when they have never even cut the grass let alone taken care of its tenants is beyond me. I have never seen so many people move in less than six months in my life. There is constantly first floor apartments opening up because people cannot live like this. Oh and my electric is hundreds of dollars a month, not that I use that much, but that is what they want to charge me, unapologetically. They seem to be guessing now cause its still the highest in the building according to my neighbors (ive asked 9 different people, im still the highest after the adjust it). The best part is that water and gas is shared with your neighbors so if you take take 5 minute showers, stretch them to 20 minutes to get your money worth.
