As its name implies, the Medical District is home to multiple medical facilities including Parkland Memorial Hospital, UT Southwestern Medical Center, and Children’s Medical Center Dallas. Enough said. Excited to break my lease & I’m only 4 months in. Terrible decision making moving here but we live & we learn.
Horrible apartment complex. Loved it at first but management is horrible neighbors steal mail from other people’s apartments have it on camera! Management is not helpful the staff is horrible! Neighbors smoke weed in the apartments and it smells horrible. Would never recommend this piece of dump. I’ve lived in many nice places this by far is the worst. If I could rate it 0/10 I would. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!
Jada is the property manager and I have never had someone in her position go so far to help her tenants. She makes herself available whenever you need and you can see just in how she communicates and her work ethic that she has a true passion for this. The apartment is improving tremendously under her supervision and The Locale is lucky to have her.

My car got robbed & I mean like CLEAN swipe… our garage got broken into, and they stole stuff… sketchy area to live in for sure.. plus management isn’t really the best help lmao like idk I’m def done w living here!! Not the best!!

Peaceful really nice community. Close to everything which is great. Management was messing but so far it was worth it.
This welcoming community is located in the perfect part of Dallas. Close to Love Field, dining, and the arts. They keep it well maintained and the friendly staff makes it possible to ask for help in every way.

Way overpriced, especially with all local attractions shut down. Crime can be a problem. Trash/waste management is the worst Ive ever experienced.

Great complex, managed by good people, with excellent maintenance staff. I've called it home for 3 years and counting.
Locale is very clean, tidy, and simple (in the best ways). The management team goes out of their way to improve and keep the community at its best. If you have a problem, they do their best to be helpful and find a resolution for you. The pool area, gym, and other amenities are all very well kept and great places to be. Overall, this complex is pretty great and I would recommend it to any of my friends!
The apartments all around are well maintained and it’s very comfortable living. We recently moved in, we had some issues at first. But, one quick email to Dakota and he replied within the hour. I expected a 24 hr. reply like our last apartment complex. I addressed my concerns to Dakota and he managed to address my concerns the same day in a timely manner. Great unit and location for a decent price.
Locale is a great place to live. The leasing staff has been helpful, especially Dakota. He always emails back quickly and helps with whatever small issue we might be having. There is a small workout room, but there are always open machines when I workout.
We have lived here for over a year and just resigned a new lease because we love living here! The community has been great, and it’s in a great location. We feel safe here which is very important to us. Dakota is one of the most helpful staff members! Anytime we have an issue, he quickly responds and offers a suggestion or action to address it. Highly recommend this apartment for anyone living in Dallas!

The best apartment complex we have ever lived!
This move has been one of the easiest I have experienced by far and the management has been beyond helpful! I am very particular about what I expect out of an apartment and this place hit all of the requirements. Dakota has been absolutely amazing in answering the hundreds of questions or concerns I had before moving in, and he always responded within the hour of me emailing. He followed up with me and made sure everything in my apartment was as I had hoped even after I moved in (no other apartments have even bothered to do that before)! I was left a handwritten note in my apartment when I moved in, which it was clear he went out of his way to do.The apartment was completely clean when I moved in and the complex itself feels SAFE, which is very important to me. My dogs and I are beyond excited to be living here! P.S. if you have dogs, the bark park is actually a great size compared to other complexes I had toured.
It has been an awesome experience to live at Local. Dakota the Assistant Manager was so kind while my friend and I were studying in nursing school and for our NCLEX, making sure we always had the printer working, cold water in the business room and checking in periodically if we needed anything. Dakota as well as the rest of the team were always attentive and responsive to my needs as a tenant as well. As someone who works nights it was great to have such a safe place to come home to. The amenities are great, clean and well taken care of, I used the gym all the time. I highly recommend living here.

From start to finish the process with Locale has been nothing short of amazing. I will for sure be leasing with them time and time again and will recommend to anyone asking where they should live in the Dallas area.
After living in various apartments in Dallas since I relocated from Florida it is an honor to say I live at the Locale!!!
Do not move to Locale if you want to have convenient parking policies. Not only is the parking a pain for guests- as they now need to park in 1 of 18 visitor spots "conveniently" hidden throughout the property; or they must park outside of the community gates which is almost impossible to find parking and potentially dangerous. Also, heaven forbid you get a company car (not a commercial vehicle-a car that your company pays for and gives to you) or just own more than one vehicle and are the only person on your lease. If you live solo you will be denied an additional parking pass for your additional vehicle. Nowhere in the lease does it state that company cars are not allowed. It just states that they may "regulate" parking, meaning that they are choosing to inconvenience me. They will also lie and say that carports/garages that I am willing to pay extra for each month are not available. However, I just took a video of 2 carports close to my building with a combined 7 spaces available and it is almost midnight. Seems to me that Locale does not care about the safety/well-being of the vehicles of their residents or residents' guests and are willing to put me through a hassle each day telling me I must park one of my cars outside of the community gates to avoid towing. What an insult as a resident, especially one that just chose to release here. I wish they were more open to just making my life a bit easier. Certainly I know shadier things have gone down in the office to get/keep a lease however once they have your signature on the lease it seems like they do not care to work with you much after that. So disappointing...
Anthony, David, and Dakota have been very kind and helpful since moving here. Any questions or requests I've had has been taken care of immediately. Having this type of customer service is a deciding factor on where i decide to live. I would definitely recommend living here!

Outstanding place to live
So far the whole process of applying and moving in has gone by super smoothly. Our leasing agent, Dakota, has made the whole process super easy and even had a hand written welcome home letter in the apartment.
Its a safe and beautiful yet affordable place to live.
The maintenance crew at the locale are incredible. They are friendly, respectful and very quick to complete any request. I truly appreciate them so much.

This is by far the worst complex I have ever lived in. We are counting down the days until it is time for us to move. The manager is a liar and is ver vindictive. Trying to get a work order done is next to impossible if you have three days or more to wait it will get done. They are also very nosy and snoop through your apartment when they are doing " annual " checks. I hate this place and very strongly considering breaking my lease. I would not recommend LOCALE to anyone. There are far nicer places for the same price or cheaper with a way better staff.

The locale management has been great. The layouts are much more spacious than any other apartment complex offered. The prices are definitely fair. The walls are thin which causes a noise issue for me but other than that I am very happy.
I love my studio apartment at Locale. Everything about it is spacious and clean, and the high ceilings make the apartment look huge. The price is also amazing, especially for how near it is to my favorite bars and restaurants is great. Im glad I chose to live here!
I do not recommend these apartments at all for the simple fact that when you move out you will be charged a general cleaning fee, carpet steam cleaning fee, and painting fee all done by third parties regardless of the fact that the apartment is left impeccably clean. Assistant manager was not willing to provide the pictures to back up their reasoning for all of these fees as there was absolutely no reason to repaint anything. She just referred me to a Greystar representative who own Locale and I was told by both parties that EACH and EVERY person gets fees to have the apartment re-cleaned after move out. Not worth your money, no one was helpful once I left. Tenants should not have to pay for something that should be done by management anyway. I ended up with invoices for almost $300 which will accrue interest if not paid within 30 days. Never heard of something so ridiculous! There are nicer and more affordable apartment complexes right down the street. STAY AWAY!

Looks can be decieving. They are nice only to get u to lease with them. Afterwards, u are on your own. I've been here since October & my car got towed with a resident parking sticker in place & not parked in a dedicated no parking zone. After waiting on mgmt for an hour & a half, I was told there was nothing they could do. Mind u, apartments get a nice lil kickback from the towing companies. I'm sure, with that being a fact, there's nothing they WANT to do about it.

I have enjoyed staying everywhere I have stayed at, but by far this is the best apartments. From the managers in the office to the parking. I love it here. The pool is relaxing when I use it at night. And lets talk about grilling, they just put in new grills and the are amazing. They just installed a package room and I think this is great as I get home after the office is closed and guess what, I can get my package! I just have nothing but great things to say about Locale. Keep up the great work!

When looking for the 'perfect' place to live it came down to having to decide between 2 top notch properties: ultimately the deciding factor of choosing Locale was Gilbert, the leasing agent.. and yes, I made the RIGHT choice, I absolutely LOVE to call Locale my new home. The entire property, its environment, its interior, its amenities, its management and staff, the class of tenants and last but not least my apartment: quality first rate! Thank you, Gilbert, for going out of your way in helping me to make the right decision... bottom line you did answer in detail any of my (literally) dozens of questions in a classy, patient and really professional manner - and all to a spoiled girl's fullest satisfaction. After that there were only 2 tasks left for me to do: 1/ sign the 'dotted' line at the lease contract and 2/ cancel my appointment at that other property... Ps.: after I had moved in Gilbert again was very helpful in following up by making sure that my move-in and settling-in was as efficient and smooth as possible.

I came to Dallas on 10/3 and within 4 days Gilbert had helped me secure an apartment at the Locale and had it ready to move in. The term "southern hospitality" is certainly fitting. The Locale's success is driven by Gilbert's passion,hospitality and commitment to it's tenants. Gilbert is amazing and this place is incredible.
I'm obsessed with my apartment at Locale. It's gorgeous and has everything I need. I did have some issues at move in with brand new appliances not being set up for use yet, but the maintenance team was very professional and helped immediately. I also had issues with the office team not being responsive to my calls, but I think they were all just so new and had a lot going on with filling all the brand new apartments. They're much better now. I'm already considering moving up to a larger sized apartment here at lease renewal.
