I visited this apartment complex and was beyond impressed with the overall look and vibe in the building! Everything is very modern and tastefully decorated. I have lived in the Pearl for several years and have been in most buildings in the area, this one does not disappoint! The manager, Simona, who showed me around was so welcoming and accommodating! She took her time to answer all of my questions and definitely made me feel like I want to live there!

Difficult to give this complex a fair shake since we haven't been able to take advantage of any of the amenities (gym, workshop, any and all common spaces really) due to the shutdown. I doubt we'll be able to utilize these spaces anytime soon, so really think about whether the high prices are worth it for the time being. I'll just comment on what I can... the folks at the leasing office are super friendly and the interiors are tastefully done. There have been some thoughtful gestures coming from management in the form of gifts/contests, so kudos to them for trying to create a community feel. Unfortunately so far, the cons have outweighed the pros. We're literally a couple blocks from multiple homeless encampments underneath the highway, which seem to have gotten and continue to get worse daily. There have already been some break-ins into the building (the front door doesn't even shut correctly half the time), and we've encountered some threatening people on nightly walks. Tbh, I have a high tolerance for this kind of activity, but I thought it'd be important to mention for others. The soundproofing is abysmal. It's pretty absurd that a brand new building touting itself as "luxury" could be this poorly insulated- except for the windows, which actually do a decent job at insulating outside noise. You can hear every footstep, word, and toilet flush from the units around you (not hyperbole, I know it's human nature to use the restroom but that's something I'd rather not be aware of.) The dread of knowing that our neighbors can hear our every move... really sucks. If privacy matters to you in the least bit, stay away. And if you want to come home to peace and quiet, look elsewhere.
