When you rent a condo in Kapolei, Hawaii, expect plenty of to-die-for sunsets and a relaxing lifestyle while still being just 21 miles west of Honolulu and famed Waikiki Beach, which locals sometimes head to for surfing and partying. Residents of Makakilo, Kapiolei, and Honokai Hale often pack a picnic and choose somewhere a bit quieter, such as Paradise Cove Public Beach or Barbers Point Beach Park, roughly a mile or two from home.
Enjoy a round of golf at the local Kapolei Golf Course or the Ko Olina Golf Club, part of the upscale Ko Olina Resort area. Take advantage of the "kama'aina" (resident) rates and save a bundle at either course.

There is a wonderful sense of community, all the modern amenities, and it's right in the middle of town where I can access anything I need pretty quick... Great community and place to live! They often throw small community events to help the neighbors mingle etc. It’s clean around the area and theres plenty of parking around as well.

For the price we pay to live in a nice area and have a nice complex Homeless people are ruining living here. They are flooding the neighborhood with a homeless camp right across the street. They dig through the trash constantly and will be aggressive if you walk by, my wife walks our dog around the neighborhood and now it is unsafe because they are aggressive and mean. Staff has messed up my paperwork multiple times giving me extra bills or not the correct amount, and giving away my parking spot I pay for and almost having my car towed. You can never go to the pool because it’s either down for maintenance or people go there and just let their kids run around unsupervised. Overall this used to be a very nice place and now it’s terrible and has seriously gone down hill and is not worth the price of what they are having you pay.

Crazy increase in homeless population for the price of living here. A homeless camp opened across the street and now they rummage through our trash and aren’t friendly.

We intended to stay for a short time to test apartment living but decided to remain longer for the convenience and security. (Except of course, growing concern about the rising costs of living!!)

If you decide to move here. Please go to the 3rd level. Do not get an apt on the 1st floor. You will hear everything from your neighbors upstairs. The apartments are well kept. They should be for all the fees you pay. The only reason I picked these apartments was because I needed a place immediately moving from the mainland. If I had more time to look I would have not chosen to stay at the lofts. They are nice but not worth the price.

It will be three years in March since I moved here. The front office staff, including Bri, Courtney and Hoku have been so caring and helpful with all and any concerns. They keep Kapolei Lofts running well. Our maintenance crew is just the best. They are a well oiled team that take such good care of our overall living spaces. I love living here!

Moving here has been my best experience on island thus far. The Lofts are located in the best/ most convenient area. The amenities are very nice and well kept. The maintenance team is top tier! I love it here.

Overall great experience here at Kapolei Lofts. The surrounding area needs some cleaning up, but the grounds of Kapolei Lofts are well done. The rents are a bit pricey, but it is a relatively new community. There are several cats around the compound, but that is not the fault of the management. The residents continue to feed the cats, so they come. The amenities are nice and well kept. Most of the residents follow the rules of the facility. It's quiet at night and the maintenance crew is very responsive.

Overall all nice, clean community. A bit pricey, but worth it, if you care for amenities. Quiet, mostly, at night, except for the heavy footed upstairs neighbors. Overall nice place to stay.

Beautiful landscaping all through the courtyards, peaceful environment all around, neighbors are friendly, great gym area and relaxing pool experience when needed. The layout of the lofts are remarkable! Definitely 5 star status!

Th staff are absolutely amazing. The roach problem is unsettling as I think it is an issue from the previous tenants. The light sockets had nests in them as well. Those have since been changed out .

I really love living here. The neighborhood is safe and walkable. The grounds of the apartment are very well kept. The maintenance team is absolutely wonderful. And the overall building/unit is amazing.

The process of moving from Florida to Hawaii was pretty stressful but the having the office help out with process of getting the apartment was great and easy.

Sabrina was very helpful! The apartments are beautiful and conveniently located by a couple food stores, shopping Plaza, and only about 15 Mims from electric beach!

Location is great. Maintenance Staff is GREAT! Things that are holding back from giving this a 5 star is the cost to live here. Nobody seems to know what some of the charges on our monthly invoices are.. it’s not much but still adds up. You can only book with spectrum in this apartment complex, they have far more expensive rates than hawaiian tel or other local companies. Stray cats are a huge problem here. Cats are often found laying around parked cars. Neighbors have been somewhat a problem over the years. Neighbors blasting music in their cars in their garages… garages are directly under units.

We just renewed our lease for the 7th year. We have made our home comfortable and have enjoyed every year we've been here. The staff at the office has been there for us through thick and thin. Whenever we had a question or complaint it was taken cared of right away. The maintenance has always completed our jobs requested on line in a very timely manner. They have always been very pleasant coming into our home, very courteous and professional. We have very little noise and most of the time very quiet. We love our home and look forward to many years of living a happy life.

Living at Kapolei Loft has been great. The location is near the highway, medical facilities, schools, and stores. The apartments are modern. The leasing office employees and maintenance team are always respectful. Everything in the common areas is always maintained. This is my second year here and I highly recommend it.

Everyone is super friendly, super pretty around the whole neighborhood. Only downside is that some dog parents don’t pick up after their pet and there’s a bit of littering around the complex.

I love the secured entry and maintenance always coming quickly to take care of request. The pool is always crowded and quite a bit noisy sometimes.

Great place to live at, very modern and clean and they do a lot for the community with events and fun stuff like that. I enjoy how fast they work to make sure if you need anything fixed it gets done. Shoutout to maintenance they do a great job all around!

Kapolei Lofts has great amenities and its location is ideal with the shopping center across the street with Foodland and many local favorite restaurants. It’s conveniently located with easy and quick access to the freeway. We enjoy the night markets that take place several times a year that feature craft vendors, food trucks and live entertainment.

It’s a bit expensive, but you get amenities which are nice… when you get to use them. Some residents take advantage of the pool rules and bring huge parties of 25 people who spend all day at the pool, and I wish they regulated that better so I could use the pool I’m paying for. There are also a lot of smokers who don’t get the memo that it’s a non-smoking apartment. Again, it’s hard to regulate those things unless people report it, so overall it’s a nice place to live. Maintenance is fast and kind, and leasing agents are incredibly gracious and fair.

While many of the apartments and condominiums on Oahu are old, dirty, and poorly maintained, this place is really clean and the quality of the residents is not bad. The only thing I don't like is the free-roaming cats.
