Property Ratings at Kellogg Square
We moved here a week ago. It could not have gone better. Larry was so helpful, directing us and offering assistance. Love the staff, the hot tub, the sauna, and the accessibility to all that St. Paul has to offer. We made a great choice in Kellogg Square.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review and rating. We are so glad that you made Kellogg Square your home and that you are enjoying the amenities and the team! We look forward to having you for years to come! Jeana K., Kellogg Square
My husband and I just signed another year lease because we absolutely LOVE it here! We have had an incredible experience living here with such a wonderful/friendly staff & management team always doing so much to go out of their way for their tenants. Our apartment is beautiful inside with brand new appliances, nice carpet/flooring, great natural light, and plenty of space. We have never had to wait longer than 24 hours for a maintenance request and appreciate all of the upgrades & preventative maintenance done in the complex. Our last apartment complex never made a single upgrade over 4 YEARS and since living in Kellogg Square they have made some beautiful upgrades and have added some fun stuff to the building...most recently a brand-new Theatre Room & Game Room!!! The convenience of living here is great knowing the management team is taking care of cleaning up/fixing things around the building as opposed to us doing the hard work ourselves as we would be in our own place ;) Our building is connected to the Skyway which is a major game changer during the Winter months, and we seriously have never seen such wonderful amenities ANYWHERE!! Overall, we are very happy tenants and are looking forward to another year at Kellogg Square!

Thank you so much for the kind words and review rating! We are so happy to hear that you love Kellogg Square and all of the amenities that come with it. We appreciate you, our residents, and so glad that you have chosen to stay with us another year and hopefully a few more to come after that! Hope to see you at the Grand Opening of our new amenities! Jeana K., Kellogg Square
I have lived here for 7 years and have made this place my home! The place has changed (in a very good way) since new management took over. Management is very helpful and maintenance issues are handled fast! I call Kellogg Square my home! Oh and Chuck is the BEST!!!

Thank you for taking the time to write such a kind review. We're happy that we have been able to make Kellogg Square such a pleasant home for you! We work hard to offer great service, so I am happy to see that has reflected in your experience with us. Jeana K., Kellogg Square
When you return to your apartment in worse condition than when you left; Kellogg Square. When submitting a ticket for low water flow results in even less pressure; Kellogg Square. When the manager Annie doesn't bother returning your email for 8 days; Kellogg Square. When notified of a 10 day apt repair but, they take 4 weeks; Kellogg Square.

Thank you for your feedback and we're sorry to hear this has been your experience. We would welcome the opportunity to speak with you should you want to discuss these issues further. Please give us a call in the office at 651.227.9224 at your convenience. Jeana K. Kellogg Square
Overall, I enjoyed living here. The amenities are amazing! The fitness center is top notch, I have yet to see an apartment complex with one that is comparable. The apartments themselves are nice, most are remodeled, the view on the west side is spectacular! Jonathan and Dee are awesome to work with, really helpful and nice, I highly recommend requesting them if you ever need assistance from the front office. The reason for the 3 stars is because I originally lived in a two bedroom, but was looking to downsize in Kellogg Square. I contacted the office in April (lease ended July 31st) about what the process is for transferring in-house. After multiple showings, contact with multiple people in the office, and handing in my transfer request form with deposit, I was told I could only hold an apartment for 30 days (I handed it in, in the middle of June). The hold rule was never told to me until after they were processing my transfer request and I had been inquiring about the process since April. They gave me the option of another apartment (which would not change my move-out/in dates and the '30 day hold' rule, so it made no sense to offer those when I still can't hold the apartment longer than 30 days) or wait the next 3 weeks in hopes that my chosen apartment didn't get taken. The whole thing felt like they were saving that apartment for someone else (it did get taken during the 3 weeks) and trying to push more expensive apartments on me, which all the apartments they were offering were more expensive. It felt like I was being scammed and I wasn't interested in a more expensive apartment that looks the exact same. It may have just been that those apartments were the only available and the whole thing could have been as simple as miscommunication on the part of the office. It definitely did not feel right and I feel the assistant manager could have handled it better than she did when she blamed the leasing consultants.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm happy to hear that you enjoy our amenities and leasing team, we work hard to provide a great home to our residents. I want to apologize for any miscommunication that occurred. It is our policy to only hold apartments for up to 30 days, and unfortunately availability can change outside of that time period. We appreciate your feedback and are always looking for ways to improve our service to residents. Please do not hesitate to reach out to discuss these issues further, or if there are any other ways we can assist you. Jeana K., Kellogg Square
Parking lot is mess. I haven't messed up my car navigating it, but I know multiple people that have. The staff in the leasing office isn't helpful in anyway and will do anything to avoid helping you. The rent is overpriced for the area and what you get. Everything in the apartments are dated.
This was the first apartment my boyfriend and I toured when we arrived in Minnesota and our tour guide was very friendly and accommodating. There's 32 floors of apartments, but the elevators move surprisingly fast. We fell in love with the West Side view, but unfortunately there were none available. If you have the choice, definitely ask for the West Side view overlooking the Mississippi River, but our East Side view is still amazing. We chose to look at the one bedroom fountain apartment and it's the perfect size for the two of us. The gym has new, up-to-date equipment and TVs everywhere which is a nice distraction when working out. The rooftop and pool are great relax spots. The management and maintenance staff has been quick to respond to our requests and the people living our are just genuinely friendly. We're glad we were able to get an apartment here and so far our four months here have been great.
Kellogg Square is a great place to live! It's conveniently located in downtown St. Paul just a block from the metro green line, and there are tons of restaurants and shops in the area. It's also connected to the sky-way which has a lot of places to eat in it, and is extra nice in the freezing cold winters of Minnesota. The apartment feels like a fancy hotel fit with a pool, hot-tub, rooftop terrace, and concierge. Not to mention the views of St. Paul and the Mississippi River. Everything is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is always eager to help you and answer questions. For the price, I don't think it could get any better!
I have lived here for a month now and have absolutely loved it! The management is very attentive and maintenance is very responsive. Our front closet did not fit together properly when closed and would pop off the track, maintenance put the doors back on the track. When they continued to pop off due to the doors being too long maintenance promptly fixed the doors so they closed nicely. My roommate had a problem with the concierge delivering her package to a different apartment, but that was remedied within a few days (it did cause some problems as Amazon was nice and sent a second package immediately, so she had to return the second package, which was a bit of a nuisance for her). I haven't had problems with hearing upstairs neighbors. You can hear people talking in the hallway (usually passing by) if you're near the front door, but that's normal and expected. All of my neighbors are so friendly and nice!! The amenities here are great! A lot of room on the sun deck and nicely furnished. The fitness center is so nice!! I've been to Senor Wongs (the restaurant in the building) and the food is good and the drinks are even better!! I definitely recommend this apartment building and management company.
Most friendly staff I have ever dealt with. Walk friends to my apartment if they don't know where they are going. Have multiple amenities that make life more enjoyable. Provide you with shopping carts to bring your groceries in. Just so many little things that add up! Wonderful place!
Part of my downsizing plan, I sold my house and moved downtown Saint Paul to Kellogg Square in the winter of 2014 “Life Just Got Easier”. This is such a great place to live -so close to restaurants, a nice park along the river just across the street. The smoke free building itself is within walking distance to everything you need and is connected to the skyway – great for walking to work on for those snowy and rainy days. Close to Green-Line light rail; the Farmer's Market is only blocks away; and walking to buy groceries at Lunds & Byerlys and Walgreen’s. Also close to a nice assortment of biking paths to explore St. Paul, Mississippi River and surrounding communities.. The covered parking ramp is convenient, attached to the skyway system and included in the rent and $80 for a second car. This summer management has made needed repairs and has powered-wash the parking ramp and will be painting new stripes soon. My 470’sqft townhome studio apartment features 11” ceilings with a large 8’x17’ patio – a nice little oasis. I was fortunate to get a brand new upgraded apartment with new stainless steel appliances, wood grain cabinets, flooring and commercial windows. I do not hear my neighbors in the joining room. Initially I was unsure about the billing for electricity since its calculated based on the size of your unit rather than actual use and so far it has been less than $20 per month. Also heating/cooling is part of the rent and I have been very comfortable with the temperature for both winter and summer. I needed the free storage locker and find it convenient having building services desk staffed 24x7, so you can pickup packages anytime. The staff is very friendly, helpful and Bigos management is taking care of place, inside and out, with normal upkeep, cleaning and painting and always giving us a heads up if there is any big maintenance going to take place. I have never had any issues with them. There's a very nice party room - a great place to host a family and friends get together. The new work-out room has plenty of quality equipment and good for me to downsize myself. I have also enjoyed the indoor hot tub and sauna and glad I moved here to start this new phase in my life.
If you like the St Paul area, and want a spacious place, kellogg square is perfect. It is a 5 or 10 minute walk anywhere. The apartments are remodeled and the parking is amazing. I love it here. In a 1br with my wife and we afford it pretty well. We are not apartment poor by any means. Lastly, amenities are the best in downtown. I'll say don't live here because I want it all for myself haha
I moved in late summer to an apartment still under construction. The sewer lines have backed up twice and flooded my apartment, most recently in early December. I scrubbed and disinfected my place twice now and am worried about the next time I walk into my place and slosh through more waste water. The apartment did not have blinds when I first looked at it but the staff indicated they would be installed by the time I moved in. I showed up on the appointed date to find paper covering my windows for privacy. About 6-weeks later, after my windows were removed and replaced, creating another mess, my final blinds were still installed. I'd have preferred the staff to explain what was going to happen rather than being surprised. The upside is the fantastic maintenance staff here. They have been awesome through all of this. The downside is the continuation of problems.
