Situated 33 miles east of Los Angeles in Pomona Valley, Montclair is a bustling city in the southwestern side of San Bernardino County. The San Bernardino Freeway runs through the top half of the city connecting Montclair to other parts of the region. When we leased a year and a half ago we were not told: the pool is ice cold the year round, almost everyone owns a dog and so there are a lot of dogs barking all the time and being aggressive when you pass by. The most frustrating are the college students. The property has become a giant dorm room, with students sitting by fires talking into the late night, coming to our door without clothes on and asking for help ... it just gets kind of weird after a while. I wish we had been told more about the occupants. The best part of this place is the inside of the apartments - they are modern and clean and having an attached garage is a real blessing.

I have been living at Kendry about 6 months and I really like it. The gym is my favorite. It's nice to have a gym I can use at any time since my school schedule is so busy. The maintenance is super cool and the ladies in the office are nice. I hope to return and live her next semester as well.

Gorgeous balcony view of dog poop and 24/7 barking. Went to front office to report and received a speech on how to calm down lmao. Wouldn't even look at the video or photos I was trying to show them. What a joke.

The complex is new and has amazing features but parking is a mess . They don’t have many guest parking and you only get one spot . Most of the residents are young college students so you will have a lot of reckless drivers. If you work and come home late you won’t find parking . A lot of residents park on reserved spots and there are no consequences. The place reeks of weed and cigarettes . It’s a non smoking site but they still smoke in their balconies and the parking lot . This isn’t a family friendly place , I wish it was but it’s not :(

There is a lot that we love about the Alexan Kendry apartments: the Samsung appliances, the fact that you can rent a garden plot, or a storage unit, the pool, the amazing gym/yoga room/pool/art making room/community space /dog run, etc. (how can anyone not love all the obvious effort to make this a beautiful, warm, well-designed community space!). But, even above all of that, we love all of the members of the AK management, staff, and maintenance team. Everyone who works here has been gracious, kind, and prompt in responding to any calls for assistance that we have had. We are incredibly grateful to have found AK and can not recommend it highly enough.

Great apartment updated appliances, HOWEVER they only allow you ONE car port per house and the rest is first come first serve. Mind you it is a SMALL. Complex with only about two streets of “free guest parking” and as they are starting to fill the occupancy it’s getting worst by the day. We pay way too much rent to worry about this issue every night tbh. Just something to be mindful of

The amenities are amazing and it's brand new. In a good location and seems very safe. The unit layouts are great. The only reason I would not recommend would be it's a little too new. A lot of things have not been established yet or finished so I'm not sure how it'll eventually turn out.
