Property Ratings at Kennedy-Warren
Don't believe their lies! Moved in less than two weeks ago and have been nothing but disappointed. First, I had to harass them into making sure I had a functional closet before moving in, even though I was told at lease signing that it would be ready (seriously? the amount of time I had to waste to get them to install a closet rod was ABSURD). THEN despite letting the property manager know before signing on the dotted line that I was sensitive to noise and him assuring me that they took care of residents' noise complaints because no one should have to deal with a problematic neighbor, he let me move into an apartment where the next door neighbor's dog barks from 6:30 am to 9:30 pm daily and then tells me it's my problem to fix - that I must have misunderstood him! So I was totally lied to in order to get to move and now Im stuck here - I can't afford to move again! So, if you are looking for a luxury property, or even a half-way decent property, don't bother looking here. I very much regret moving in here - I would have better off staying at my old Equity property, if you can believe that! (and for anyone who knows, for someone to prefer Equity over a so-called "luxury" property is pretty pathetic.)
I've been here at the Kennedy-Warren for over a year and I'm very pleased with my choice. I'm on the top floor facing the north and north-west and have spectacular sunsets most evenings. I'm in the historic wing of the building which retains many of the original features of the building from the 1930's - original tiles, kitchen cabinets, door knobs, mouldings, etc, and all have been maintained beautifully. The apartment has separate heating /cooling units - one for the main living area and one for the bedrooms - a nice energy saving feature. The staff and maintenance folks are all responsive and friendly. Noise from neighbors is very minimal, and most people seem friendly. Great exercise room. I truly have zero complaints.
