Though Boise is home to over 200,000 residents, the city still feels like one of the country’s best-kept secrets. As the state capital of Idaho, Boise’s downtown district is filled with grandiose government buildings and historic storefronts, offering an eclectic mix of international restaurants, specialty shops, and entertainment venues. This city features a thriving arts scene with local gems like the Boise Art Museum, the museum’s seasonal Art in the Park festival, and the historic Egyptian Theatre.
This city features an array of excitement, but it’s also a relaxing suburbia that’s perfect for families. Excellent public schools and Boise State University call this capital city home, along with kid-friendly fun like the Zoo Boise and the Discovery Center of Idaho.

Property Ratings at Kensington Apartments
My stay at Kensington at Northpoint was marked by frustration and disappointment. While the initial allure of the complex was promising, the reality fell short in several ways. Firstly, the amenities were consistently unavailable. Whether it was the pool, gym, or common areas, there was always something under maintenance. The lack of communication regarding these closures made it even more frustrating. Secondly, the pet situation was appalling. Dog waste was a common sight, and the dog stations were often empty. As a dog owner, this was both unsightly and unhygienic. Lastly, the move-out process left a bitter taste. My brother and his wife were hit with excessive charges for cleaning and painting, despite leaving the apartment in good condition. It became evident that the management was more interested in recouping costs than treating residents fairly. In summary, Kensington at Northpoint failed to meet expectations. Prospective tenants should proceed with caution and be prepared for unexpected fees.

Thank you for taking the time to tour Kensington at North Pointe. We are glad you enjoyed the tour and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
Lure you in with reasonable sounding prices and you go to tour and within 4 hours of talking to them, the place is rented but there are others available for alot more money. I kmow my price point,I would not have bothered going in if I had known the apartment we were looking at was already rented. 4 hours before our tour I was called.by them to confirm my appointment. Just poor communication, which Iis why i think it was a bait and switch.

We are sorry to hear about your experience. When we quote a prospective resident we always want to make sure it is explained that the quote is just a quote and does not hold a unit. This is detailed on the quote that we sent you. It looks like the apartment you were interested in was a particular floorplan we have very few of on the property and typically leases pretty quickly. We always want to encourage folks to fill out the application when we sent over the quote so that they can reserve the apartment. It certainly sounds like our team missed the opportunity to review this information with you and ensure it was understood so there was not any misunderstanding. With that being said, we are sorry again that you had a bad experience and would love the opportunity to change your mind.
I toured and considered four apartment complexes in the Boise / Garden City areas. The front office employees at Kensington - specifically Kayla and Matt - were by far the most pleasant to work with. Both were welcoming, helpful, competent, and professional. They made the extra effort to answer my new-arrival questions... and provided an excellent tenant experience. Once I moved in there were two very minor adjustments - the hot water being hot enough, and the dishwasher air drying the dishes. I easily submitted a ticket on their tenant portal... and both repairs were made within 18 hours. Good management, excellent service standards.

Beautiful place to live, close to everything, green belt is walking distance, pet friendly, and friendly staff.
If I could give this place a negative rating, I would. Absolute garbage. Their is NO COMMUNICATION coming from out of this place. They NEVER ANSWER the phone. They DO NOT send you any updates about your application. If you are looking for a highway robbery ... look here. -10/0
The office staff is exceptional, the apartment is cheaper than the competition in the area (I looked extensively in the boise area before finding they had the best value) The location is so convenient. yes, state and glen. can get busy- but you are so close to everything even when there is traffic its not really a hassle to get to what you need to get to. I have been incredibly happy living here. Obviously it's an apartment so sometimes you might hear your neighbors. But in terms of noise I would actually say this is the quietest apartment I have ever lived in. I love that I have never had any unexpected fees, the lease and all other documents are very thorough which is a huge plus to me because I like knowing what to expect. I would recommend moving in here over any other complex in the area.
Terrible place to live, I’ve regretted it since moving in. Nothing but harassment and fees fees fees. Save your money and time and get a house.

This place rocks! After moving to Boise for a job transfer I pretty much had to apply for my new home on line and hope for the best. The staff tried to make that process as easy as possible for me. Even going the extra mile by taking photo's, measurements and a video of my apartment. Once I arrived I knew I made the right choice. What a beautiful place to live. I can honestly say I feel like I am living at a five star resort. The maintenance and office staff are always so friendly and willing to help. Thank You Kensington Staff

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kensington. Our Town Home was fantastic and super energy efficient even with air conditioning. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, and we really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We also enjoyed meeting our neighbors and getting to know the wonderful families at Kensington. The staff is also friendly and wonderful to work with. We strongly recommend the Kensington and would stay here again in a heart beat!

Community seems unorganized and I have zero confidence in the staff. Make sure to ask all the questions you can think of ahead of time and if you are an organized person and want to get things done in advance, this creates complete chaos. Don't expect them to call or notify you in a timely manner. Expect to have incorrect dates and other typos on the electronic documents you are asked to sign. Everything mentioned is at a premium, so expect to pay much more than just the rent quoted. You MUST pay for their "media package", but that isn't made clear right away. Read the lease agreement very carefully! More hidden fees and things they do not tell you up front. Dog park and some other amenities listed are still under construction and not scheduled for completion until spring 2018. My experience has been absolutely ridiculous, yet I am still moving in. Let's hope this new community pulls it together and future tenants will have a better experience.
Absolutely beautiful apartments but the absolute worst application process I've ever experienced. I paid my two hundred to apply and was told it would be 3 to 5 days to procres tops ( which is still a very long time frame compared to anywhere I have lived before) I was told at least five times I was approved and would be getting my reservation agreement whenever I didn't get my reservation agreement i was told "oh wait they haven't even reviewed your file" a week ago I had a call from the assistant pm and we went through my file step by step.. She said I was good to go and to expect a 500 security deposit and that I would be approved and have a reservation agreement that day. Well a week later the sr pm still hadn't reviewed my file and none of the Notes from the previous pm got imported so we had to start over. After two weeks past i literally refused to go anywhere until my app was approved or not. I wasted so much time off work getting the run around the entire week. Finally they said "yes you are approved but your deposit is 1000" instead of the 500 I was told. And I was told "and you were incorrectly told about your rental cost we don't prorate our rent if you move in the middle of the month" when I confronted the continued misrepresentation on what i was told the frustrated Pm said " well that's why you should only talk to me " basically making it my fault that the staff was ill trained. Furthermore, it was her assistant pm that called me and told me this info. i got tired of being gas lighted and got approved for a less expensive, better location and a bigger place. I strongly suggest going somewhere else
Just so everyone is clear these prices do not include half of the "amenities" they claim to give. If you want a washer and dryer in unit it's and extra $40 a month, parking spaces extra $15 each spaces minimum. There is a mandatory media package that is $90 a month no other options there. Oh you want a garage? That is an extra $100 a month, the rent may look low but don't let it fool you. Also no utilities are included in the rental price, and the admin fee does not go towards your deposit. Good luck.
Moved in here in February and there were problems from the get go. No lan lines in the apartments so if you want a home phone you have to go through your internet provider which is all well and good but the internet was down for the first week. Patio wasn't done. Took about 4 months before that got finished. The appliances are all kick backs from some over stock bargain bin. The employees here use to be nice but management got rid of all the people that were nice and now they will have a smile on there face until the ink drys. Most of the rules and regulations here make no sense and make it feel less like a community and more like a prison camp. If you're looking at all the amenities that come with living here, unless it's the pool or the gym, they're just pictures. There is no dog park, there is no play area for the your kids and no garages. In sort this place is a half job where you'll meet very few people and if you want to employees to do something it will cost you extra. Also I hope you have neighbors that are quiet cause otherwise you're going to hear "everything". Save yourself the trouble and just buy a sleeping bag and live out of your car. It will be a lot better.
