Property Ratings at Kensington Station
My lease wasn't renewed after 5 years. My unit was marked for major renovations so I had to move. I wasn't offered to transfer or given any concessions for the inconvenience and expense. This is the very first time I didn't receive a full refund on the deposit. They charged the entire $400, plus $23 more! They said they took photos. I didn't receive any. There was 5 years of normal wear and tear on the place, No carpet rips, stains, no tears in the linoleum, no broken windows, no holes in walls, lights and ceiling fans worked. All counters were good. I never had a washer dryer. Never used the dishwasher or fireplace. No clogged plumbing. No counter top damage. I left a cleaned assigned trash can. Returned all keys, didn't leave anything behind. What damage amounted to $423.00? They required pest inspection 2 1/2 half months before move out. The tech said it was strange, he never saw any complex do this! I was responsible for any bugs that entered after my lease terminated because I was charged $12.00 more for visits for 2 months AFTER move out. They’d have to clean up after major renovations, wouldn’t they? Seems they'd paint walls and either replace the carpeting or stretch out the buckles. They didn’t need to charge a cleaning fee, unless I am paying for cleanup after the workers! No refund on the pet deposit, either. No explanation was given. It shows on the lease, though. Never says it wasn't refundable. In fact, while I lived there, I transferred apartments and they indeed refunded the entire pet deposit and transferred it to my new place. I provided photos of existing damage at I move in. The front door locks were in terrible conition. They refused to fix it until the city code inspector made them. Now, for just $5 more a month, I live in a clean, modern apartment that has hot water and a working front door with professional management that actually seem like they're happy in life.

The apartments are turned over so fast that they don’t take the time to clean and prepare them properly for the new tenants…. They even painted over cob webs instead of wiping it off!! Clearly there was no walk through done before I moved in. The staff isn’t rude and nasty but they sure aren’t warm, kind or accommodating either! Already looking for another home… won’t be renewing this lease!

The property is quite and everyone keeps to them selfs. The maintenance man get in and get out. They don’t linger around like at some other apartment complexes. They do a good job keeping the grounds clean. The office area is clean and neat.

First I have to say that Christina has been very helpful and honest about the leasing and the community! I have viewed several apartment complexes, some just didn't feel like home. My first impression of Kensington Station, I felt comfortable, the entire area has a safe feel to it! It feels like home. The unit Christina showed me was a two bed two bath, and all I can say is wow! The apartment is very roomy for 900sqft, large bedrooms, the bathrooms in both rooms very spacious, but the best part, was the walk-in closets. I am looking forward to my residency with this community, and the staff has been the most helpful on helping getting me and my son placed in a safe community. I can see nothing less than a great residency with Kensington Station in the future!

We visited Kensington Station last week and loved the warming welcome we got from staff. The apartment are well maintained with contemporary like updates. We aren't looking to move until June 2020, but Kensington Station is at the top of our list. Can't wait to use the swimming pool!

We have recently been out in the Bedford area looking for a new apartment. We'd like to stay in the Trinity High School area. Kensington Station is at the top of our list. The inside of the apartments look great and they have nice amenities as well. The price is fair. I like the idea of curbside trash and optional covered parking. The associate in the office who helped us gave us all the information we needed and an awesome tour!

I've lived here 5 years and am a out to be up for my 5th renewal. We are currently in a two bedroom in the HEB ISD district. We plan to renew unless we can find a house. We have had no issues with the office. We leased with Christa and she has been great. Maintenance is always timely and gets things fixed. My family are happy to call Kensington Station home. :-)

I like to be transparent about any situation & that does include expressing my concerns about the place where I reside. I moved here for the good reviews and the hot water. I strongly dislike moving and this will be our second time moving in two years. The first place had no hot water and they constantly towed our vehicle so moving into this place that was not an issue. The pros about this property is they have hot water , no assigned parking expect for the covered parking , it is quiet , maintenance is quick about resolving any issue and you can pay the rent online. The cons is you have to pay for trash pick up whether you use it or not. Now to tell you why we are moving yet again. The first day we moved in the people upstairs stomped all night and day. We assumed we can deal with it but sometimes the ceiling fans would shake ; they would go back and forth all times of the day. The lady never leaves the apartment and paces all the time. Eight months into our lease I finally had enough . You can be in the back room with the television up as loud as possible , talking while you son in on a iPad and still hear the stomping. I contacted the leasing office because I assumed it will resolve the issue but it did not so I contacted them again and it was promptly told to that she knows who is complaining and to go upstairs and talk to them which we did and guess what still stomping. I asked the office about transferring to another property or another apartment and I have not received a response as of yet. The second instance was with management directly. Since day one of the move we see furniture , appliance and beds in the trash bins so we bought new furniture and instructed the movers to dump the furniture in the trash. I was on my way home but my husband was there and the property manager came to the door yelling and being aggressive toward him about the furniture. The movers confirmed that encounter as while so I immediately went to the front office and asked and she indicated that there is no dumping of furniture in the trash bins and that the police have been riding around because of that. We explained that this was done all the time but we will remove the furniture which happened the next morning and I let them know. From the upstairs neighbors stomping and the situation with the furniture it left a bad taste and that is why we are moving yet again. I have 3 more months left on the lease I am excited to move so I give this place a 2 ½ star.

Just rented this apartment. Everyone has been very helpful and nice. I do wish the cost of the apartment was less per square footage, and that they all had W/D connections but it's a great, quiet area so it's worth it. Definitely feel safe here.

You get what you pay for. It's a cheaper complex so there it a lot of outdated things. Appliances need to be updated , ceiling is falling in the bedroom , ac goes out every summer , they never cut the grass by the creek , I've had snakes on the balcony.
Kensington station apartments are a wonderful place to live. The office staff is very friendly and help with any problems. Maintenance is fantastic I can put in a request and they are on it within minutes. I have lived there for 2 years and now expecting in December and hope to eventually raise my child in a 2 bedroom with them / near the area. I am very greatful to be at Kensington station and recommend it to people looking for a good area near freeways, raising kids, and/or just looking for quiet area.
