Despite its name, City View provides residents with a charming pastoral backdrop. This wooded neighborhood is predominately residential and features low-rise apartments and ranch-style houses on large plots of land. Like many Winston-Salem neighborhoods, renters are attracted to City View’s affordability. Along with neighborhood parks, residents have access to several lakes, parks, and golf courses nearby. Although City View feels like a rural retreat, the neighborhood is just three miles from Downtown Winston-Salem, placing residents within minutes of the city’s best shopping, dining, and entertainment options. City View is also near Winston-Salem University. Traveling throughout Winston-Salem is easy thanks to U.S. Route 421 and 15B nearby.

Property Ratings at Kensington Village
This place is horrible. I was here for a few years, 1st off Roaches and cats are everywhere! Walls are ultra thin! Multiple drug dealers live there! Car break ins and shootings are regular, the leasing office ladies are terrible and don’t know what they’re doing! It stinks and trash is everywhere, and the halls always smell like weed smoke. Theres no peace over there. This place should be a last resort honestly. I didn’t realize how much stress living in that place put me on me until I left!
This apartment complex is good on price and that's it. NONE of the amenities have been available for over 2 years. The washer machines are always limited because it's 1-2 always broke (theres only 4). The dryers are terrible! They don't dry your clothes the first time. You have to keep paying to dry at least 3-4 times. The pool area has been closed for no reason. They are treating it like a garage, it looks bad. The gym is still closed after 2 years. Maintenance takes a very long time to fix the most simple things. My dish washer is broke, my bathroo vent is broke, the entry to my apartment is broke so anyone can walk in. They keep sending a rent price increase but are not even offering the amenities that youre "paying for". The people at the office are lazy and don't care. They painted everyone's shutters black but the doors are still old and rusty looking.
The apartments are in a nice area. There are two great schools that are walking distance. The maintenance crew is dependable. Friendly staff, but the apartment is small and the walls are thin.
