Property Ratings at Kenton Place Apartments
The worst place I have ever lived in! Would not waste my money on a place like this if I were you. I might as well had no air conditioning as there is so much space between doors that your air leaks out, costing me almost $300 in an electric bill every month! I moved into a house and just got my first bill, $110 for a whole month...major difference. These pictures look absolutely nothing like the apartment I lived in!! Maintenance is a laugh, they cannot even keep people working the job, constantly firing maintenance people. Upon move out you will get charged for a ridiculous amount of thing's as well...and no your security deposit does not cover it. Whoever own's this apartment complex needs to sell to new people who know how to run an apartment complex.
I’ve lived here for a year there are roaches everywhere, raccoons that roam in front of your doors.... oh and not to mention the pictures make the apartments looks good, but they’re not. Absolutely horrible.
This place is a complete joke! Health and safety is not on their list. Maintenance....forget about it- Office personnel- flat out RUDE. They will not do anything for you except collect your money. If you have any issues, you will be a bother to them if you bring it up. Kenton does not provide parking passes for any tenants so everybody's broken down cars are parked here, forcing parking to be out on the street or a fire lane. The car ports are literally falling down , nobody wants to pay $35 for that. Take them down and provide parking for our residents. Not to mention we pay $15 a month for our cat to live here and the raccoons live for free in our attic. Tearing up EVERYTHING & constantly fighting. I can go on and on about the mold, broken utilities, failure to remedy or repair a thing.... it's terrible. Safe yourself and your family. Don't move here!
Stay away from here. The only plus is the location. Maintenance is horrendous and when something is scheduled to be fixed it's often "forgotten". The parking is horrible entire complex is littered w/ broken vehicles that haven't been moved or registered in months. Front gate is rarely closed so anyone can gain entrance. Ferile cats overrun the complex and trash is often overflowing at dumpster areas. Do yourself a favor look elsewhere.
I am living in a complex managed by Clear Property and they are very poor property managers. I made a complaint to the on-site manager regarding a severe structural issue which causes extremely loud creaking noises every time the neighbors take a step. The on-site manager chose to ignore my complaint so I sent a certified letter to Clear Property. They called me one time to discuss the issue saying they would get the "floor guy" to come take a look and let me know what was found. They never had anyone come and refused to take any of my calls or return any of my messages. I sent another certified letter which, again, they refused to acknowledge. I made a formal complaint with the the Better Business Bureau and guess what? They refused to respond. Per the BBB this isn't the only complaint Clear Property has refused to respond to. My suggestion is to stay clear of any complex managed by Clear Property. They don't seem to be able to own up to anything and have no interest in the comfort of their tenants.
We originally moved in because of the large square footage, we pay for two covered parking spaces but the management allows people to park along the curb opposite making almost impossible to park or leave. I no longer allow maintenance in without one of us home due to the theft of an expensive watch, the foundations are always shifting, so the doors don't shut properly. the buildings literally have no insulation in the walls, I hear my neighbors walking all the time, we have neighbors who smoke, the smell carries into our apartment. Residents are constantly throwing old furniture out at the dumpsters, making the place look like a landfill. office staff isn't helpful at all, entry gates always broken, walk in gate is welded shut. And the paint is separating from the walls. I cannot in good conscience recommend this property to anyone unless you have no other options. We will definitely no be renewing our lease.
