Angela Larsen/ Kentwood Apartments

I am recently moving to Napa and have been looking around for an apartment. The main complex that caught my eye is the Kentwood apartments.. So beautiful, clean and quiet! When I went to the office for my tour I got to meet Angela.. She was instantly so welcoming, polite and positive! The apartment I was shown was gorgeous… Angela was so professional and courteous.. I definitely recommend going and seeing Angela and her team if you are looking for a place that makes you feel welcome and at home as soon as you step in the door. Thank you Angela!

Kentwood Apartments

I lived here for 3 months when we first moved to Napa. The management was terrible. Once the water was shut off and no one could give me information when it would be back for hours. When we moved out they did not refund our pet deposit. I left the apartment cleaner than I found it. We have tried multiple times to contact Prime Group, but they have not been responsive.

Couldn't have picked a better place

Kentwood has the most caring staff I've ever seen. They're willing to work around your financial situation if you have good credit/know someone with good credit. When there is a problem big (a water main breaks) or small (closet door comes off the track) it gets solved in a timely manner (a day or less). I would give five stars if it wasn't for the fact my fiancé's bike seat got stolen and the kids in the neighborhood are generally unsupervised by their parents and are out of control.

Kentwood apts

I have lived in this complex off and on for many yrs,when my kids were in school.I always had a good location- near the pool- or out back where its very quiet-.I had moved to another town for 4 yrs-- when I came back to Napa.This was the first place I looked at. I'm still living here.. Thanks... Larry

Nice but expensive

Kentwood apartments offer "luxury" apartments in Napa. Unfortunately there is not much luxury to them. The pros: Pretty well kept New appliances when I moved in Very Nice office Staff The cons: Consistently change rent to rip off new coming renters. More expensive than value at hand. Could get more bang for your buck elsewhere. Overall I would say that Kentwood is not a place to live alone. A 1 bedroom might be reasonable split by 2 incomes from a couple but it is just too much for too little.

the best in Napa, Ca

i have lived here for 2 1/2 years and it definitely feels like home. There is a park like feeling where you feel most comfortble if you have a dog. The tenants are friendly and the office staff is always available for any need, just chatting, and most of all, getting the job done. We have parties for the kids and adults in the pool area, which is kept spotless, and functions which make it feel like home. I hadn't lived in an apartment complex before and am so surprised and happy here. It is a true community of people of all walks of life.

Kentwood apartments

Honestly these are great apartments the staff employed here are great the management are super nice and seriously go out of their way to do anything they can to help you. They are well maintained and updated within reason. The one serious point that does go against them is the serious lack of parking for anybody that would like to come and visit or if you have a second car in your household.

Moving cross country to Napa - Amazing office staff!

Moving cross country can be a very stressful and terrifying experience. Without knowing the area, it is very difficult to decide where to put down roots. I visited many complexes before deciding on Kentwood. The location is great and they are extremely pet friendly, which was my primary concern. The main reason I decided on Kentwood was because the office staff were so so helpful and informative. They really did bend over backwards for me, so that I could secure my new apartment. I am so grateful and thankful for all that they did for me. Kentwood is a great safe spot for me and my dogs to call home!

Free fleas

I recently moved out of kentwood and it was one of the worst living experiences of my life. After signing the lease we took about a week to move in slowely. During this time we discovered we were beginning to get lots of little bug bites. Upon further investigation we found that the carpet in the new apartment was infested with fleas. Kentwoods solution was to send someone in to vacuume the carpet. This did nothing to fix the problem. At one point we were in the office asking if we could be moved to a different building and the office worker informed us that fleas arn't that big of a deal, her apartment had them too and you get use to it. We finally were able to get rid of the problem after about a month of spending our own money on cleaners and poisions. When it was finally time to thankfully move out kentwood sent us an extra utility bill for around $125 that we had already paid. We went yo the office to talk the Donna the complex manager. She said she had no record of our payment but said we could bring in a cancelled check if we really did pay it. So we brought in a copy of the cancelled check from the bank showing we made the payment and they still wouldn't accept the fact we paid the bill. Donna told us that it wasn't applied to our account and someone may have accidentally applied it to a different account but either way she couldn't release the security deposit without another payment. Pros: cheap rent Cons: paper thin walls Fleas Little to no parking Horrible complex manager Overflowing garbage that stinks

Dissappointing

This complex is very old and the updating has been done in a sloppy, shipshod manner. The noise level of kids screaming and running around unsupervised until late in evening is a real downer. I was told that my requested maintenance items - custom paint as advertised, no stoppers in the sink & bathtub, electrical plugs that did not work - would be taken care of before I moved in. They were not. All in all, I am disappointed in this place and will not stay very long.

Toot your own horn!!!

Frankly I'm amazed at how organized this apartment complex is. Everything runs like a fine oiled machine. The managers explained everything very thoroughly and treated both myself and my son like he was their own kid. Very helpful with everything, showed us 2 units, and gave reasons for the rules at the complex. They have a security patrol that patrols around 6 x per day to make sure no drinking nor loitering is happening in the parking areas nor illegal activities are happening. It is very well maintained and they take pride in their complex. It shows and I was very happy with this complex. I would recommend it to others and would consider living their myself if I didn't already own my own place. My son loves it and even said a neighbor brought over dinner to him his second night there! Hospitality galore! A 5 stair place!

Great Place to live at!

The Kentwood apartments are located in a nice location near to schools,shops,and just a very short drive up to the world renowned Napa valley. The property is very well maintained and kept clean and neat. Any problems are taken care of in a very timely manner. The management are always there to help you with any issues. Also,the people that live in the community are always nice respectful of their neighbors.
