Property Ratings at Kenwood II
No matter how clean your unit was roaches would crawl across walls. Maintenance sucks. When they work on other units they throw the trash material over the balcony
1- Its FILTHY DIRTY. You will find trash throughout the community. You will find dog poop and pee on walkways all the time. You will be ashamed of inviting guest to your home. 2- Hallway smells really bad all the time. Pathetic condition to stay. 3- Mice is a really big issue here. They will eat your food if kept outside. 4- People smoke and drink on the parking lot. 5- Your packages will be stolen all the time if kept at the door. YES!! it happens. 6- Appliance, cup boards, drawers are really old and in bad condition. 7- Common washer and dryer will be out of order ALWAYS. You need to drive to outside coin laundry throughout the year. 8- The school rating is really bad. Its not worth staying here.There are better communities nearby with similar rent
Ive only been a tenant for awhile now and am not impressed by the previous management. nothing was fixed and i felt they were super disorganized in the office. it just looked messy. NOW when you go, its like a whole new office. I dont know who bought the place but already theres ladies cleaning the halls and outside the buildings. Maintaince actually showing up to my neighbors to fix things that were way long overdue. Lets see how the new company does but so far i am glad things are finally being done around here.
I am a tenant at Kenwood Apartments, ive lived here for 3 years. NOTHING was ever fixed or cleaned around here. Even calling the corporate number Goldmark never fixed ANYTHING. the apartments are not bad, i think they are very decent considering everything that is near by and close to downtown too. Its just the management. very rude and they looked awful too. but moving on, the PROS: A new company bought the apartments. they are called MetroProperty. So far, the staff is friendly and seem to genuinely care. The very first week their maintenance man fixed everything wrong in my apartment and more throughout this building then Goldmark ever did the past years!!! SO AMAZING. We have pest control now they went through all the units checking for bugs. Ive noticed recently some ladies cleaning the much needed buildings. sadly some people are trash and their kids even worse! But the women cleaning did amazing. no longer embarrassed to have my guests walk our halls!! I am starting to have hope for kenwood. I have multiple friends who have noticed the difference around here over the span of a few weeks i believe and are wanting to apply now. Im sure with the new staff and company these apartments will go back to being what they once were. Dignified.
I love my landlord and residents there down to earth people they are all quiet and seemed to be good people I would come back to the apartments if I ever move form here
I love my apartment its nice and I really don't have a issue with it. If I do my landlord go out of her way and make sure its done. She is so loving and caring.
