Property Ratings at Kenwood Park Apartments
My daughter applied for an apartment with this complex and I have never in my life seen so my inconsistency. My daughter has a service animal with all the proper paperwork and a letter from her Maryland licensed therapist. This company has tried everything possible to pick apart the reasoning behind them not being able to accept her letter. From the doctor need to change their letterhead, to the therapist letterhead has a VA address listed. They have done everything except call the therapist ask why do she need a service animal. I'm not sure if it's because they want the money for the dog deposit or they are just that insensitive to people in need of service animals. This company is a big disappointment and need sensitivity training. If you have a service animal don't waste your $30 application fee. If I could give them zero stars I would....
I have lived at Kenwood Park Apartments for the past fourteen years. I have no plans of moving anytime in the near future. Conveniently located within walking distance to several restaurant's and grocery/retail stores. Ample amount of parking spaces for tenants and tenant visitors. Immaculate maintained grounds. Little to no crime activity. If and when their is the office staff are quick to make the community aware. The buildings and property are well maintained. Plenty of outside lighting to guide you and to deter any criminal unlawful activity. Respectful and friendly office staff. Always willing to assist you with any questions or problems you may be having. Within their limits and abilities. Friendly and respectful maintenance staff. Maintenance staff strive to respond to all service calls within the same day they were received. Once they arrive to do the work requested. They are quick and efficient in delivering quality work. We can have some fierce winter storms around here. No worries around here though. Our maintenance will work through out the entirety of the storm. Making sure the parking lots and the properties private roads are passable. So you are able to go about your normal activities. During or right after the storm. The property and buildings are consistently updated. Within the short time I have lived here. I have seen new blacktop and curbs. New roofs and shingles. New hallway and outdoor lighting fixtures. New interior light switches and electrical outlets. New energy efficient windows and patio doors. New public hallway carpeting. All public hallways and laundry rooms are cleaned on a weekly basis. Their are no nasty dumpsters on the property creating a foul smell or that are an eyesore to look at. Kenwood Park Apartments supplies you with free trash bags. The apartments are very spacious. With more than enough closet and storage space. So much space that my step Mother commented that I have more storage space here than she has. She lives in a two bedroom individual house. For the area and size of the apartment alone. You definitely get more than what you are paying for here at Kenwood Park Apartments. Hope this review is helpful in making your final decision. Whether or not to join our quiet peaceful community here at Kenwood Park Apartments.
I have been living at Kenwood Park for almost a year now. When I first moved in there were some communication issues with the move-in date and time. Also there was a bug issue. But it was resolved the next day and I haven't had any issues after that. I love the neighborhood and the staff is usually very helpful. The closet space is a girls dream. The only thing that would make the place better is hardwood floors, an updated kitchen, and washer & dryers in the apt.
I have lived at Kenwood Park Apartments for 8 Yrs, the apartments here are a little older with updated kitchens in various buildings I find it quite pleasant living here due to the quiet atmosphere and beautiful surrounding of trees and wooded areas. The service here when needed is same day service with very friendly maintenance crew that are very receptive to your needs as a tenant the compound is cleaned daily and grass cut weekly. The pricing of units are below market value which makes it very attractive and hard to leave, I love living here.
