Nestled between US-183 and TX-1, Quarry is a compact yet entertaining locale in north Austin. This predominately residential area is bordered by some of the best dining and shopping outside Downtown Austin, which makes it the perfect spot for renters looking to stay active both in and outside of the city center.
On Quarry’s west side sits the Arboretum, packing a number of restaurants, a Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, and all the popular shopping you would expect. On the east is the Domain, an upscale shopping center that provides all of the luxurious offerings for those looking to splurge. There’s even Topgolf and a number of charming cafes where you can sit and enjoy the Texas sunshine.
With so many options just minutes away from your apartment, you can avoid braving the Austin traffic. But if the city is calling your name, all of the surrounding highways will make short work of a commute.

Property Ratings at Keystone
I am currently living here and there is nothing great about it. Lots of pests, roaches and such. I am not the cleanest guy but I do keep a clean kitchen and do not leave food lying around ever and I can’t seem to get the dang things out of my apartment. It’s my first apartment so I can’t complain but if you have the means to choose somewhere else, please do it. Also the wood is rotting on my patio because they were built so long ago. When I moved in my apartment reeked of cigarettes and still does, all my clothes and furniture now smell like it and all they’ve done is bring someone over to do an “ozone treatment” which seemed to be just a hardcore fragrance spray that lasted for maybe 2 days. Just overall, old, nasty, falling apart apartments.
The front office was attentive and understanding about getting the central air fixed in my apartment during a heat wave. The maintenance team was courteous, polite, professional, clean and worked hard to get everything right the first time. Much appreciated attention to detail.
This place saved us when we needed it and it came with that and more! A great community, and amenity with easy access! There was a slight bug problem once but as long as you protect your home with the proper treatments you will be okay! I will miss you Kristina and Nat!! Y'all were awesome and helped me with so much!
Keystone Apartment unit #248 review Overall this has been the best apartment I’ve had in 6 complexes I’ve lived in throughout my life. The staff (Christina and Natalie) have been great, professional and are personably warm which was a relief having come from out of state. Love the fact it’s only 2 miles to all my main stores from my gym to the organic grocery stores and best of all my Costco gas station . Costco in South Austin doesn’t have a gas station because its above a water reservoir , but this North Austin Costco does have one putting my membership to good use. I spent a lot of time with online searches/apartment finders and apartment inspections before I found this place. I’ve never had a problem in my unit 248 (obviously I can’t speak for all units) and the neighbors are quiet and friendly. Parking lot is very well lit which I’ve learned over experience from my past apartment complexes to care about. The maintenance staff responded promptly and were courteous when I needed a working blind for the window. Small request, but fast response time. Sad to leave back out of state for work, but North West Austin has been great and Keystone was a lovely gift to call home from an out-of-towner.
Walls are thin, neighbors are noisy. Can't wait until my lease is up.
While Keystone Apartments is not fancy, it it a quiet, safe, comfortable place to live. The management is excellent. They are always helpful and even know me by name. The maintenance staff are friendly and never leave a mess. I've never had trouble finding a parking place either.
