Mature trees and sidewalks line the streets of Tonawanda, a riverside city bordering the Niagara River and situated around Ellicott Creek. Tonawanda is close to Niagara Falls and the Canadian border, less than 10 miles north of Downtown Buffalo. Parks stretch along the rivers, and boating is a popular pastime in Tonawanda.
Tonawanda is a terrific place to live -- after renting an apartment here, you'll be able to enjoy the riverwalk path in Niawanda Park, catch a concert at Gateway Harbor Park, or attend one of the city's many festivals. Canal Fest, a week-long festival that began in 1983, celebrates the city's location on the historic Erie Canal. One of the city's landmarks, Tonawanda Castle, is a former armory built in 1896 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Today, this impressive building -- complete with a 100-foot turret -- is a privately-owned event space.

Property Ratings at Kibler Senior Apartments 55+
When I first moved in 3.5 years ago I loved this place. As of now it has gone completely down hill. There are no activities and it is filthy. The carpets are filthy, the walls need painted, the ducts are full of dust and dander. The washers and dryers only work half the time and they smell. The news stations have been called due to black mold that was painted over. Then rent is raised every year with NO amenities or improvements.

You will see. Was the other review from the office? Can’t decorate. Community room is not used. Office is closed a lot. Maintenance is never done
I haven't lived in an apartment for many years. I came upon this apartment due to a medical situation, and I could not be happier. Laurie the manager is kind and efficient she is always willing to listen to your needs. Jim is the onsite maintenance and I have always found him to be willing to repair an issue with a smile and an honest caring attitude. My favorite part of our living space is our community room where you are able to mingle with the other residents. If you enjoy other people and want to spend time with others this is the place to be. I jokingly call this community a dorm, its almost like living in college and having a really nice sized dorm room. The people and pets are friendly. I personally have not found a person I don't enjoy spending time with. Everything is right inside our building so no going out on winter days to get your mail, do laundry or even get to your storage unit. I have made some great friends and my dog has a few paw pals as well.
