Property Ratings at Kings Cove Apartments
The new management company that took over from Peterson has made a lot great improvements and def trying to up date the complex. Andrew has been nothing but an absolute class act when its come to me transitioning apartments in the complex. The level of customer service and accommodations to my specific needs were out standing. Give Kings Cove a chance under new management, its such an improvement. 5 year resident here

Multiple times had management show up without any notice. Been told many times received emails with info but never did. Do not recommend this apartment complex especially for how much they cost! Not worth it at all !

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! The apartment they show looks so amazing but the one you will be moved in will not look as good as that one. I moved in to a garden level and immediately had flooding issues. What’s crazy is another resident actually stopped me as I was moving in to let me know that there was a flooding situation right before I moved in. I told front office this and they denied that it’s related. NOW… I have been dealing with bugs all over!! They sent out pest control and tried to downplay what I was dealing with. I had to have pest control come back out because I was still seeing loads after treatment. Come to find out my apartment is infested with German roaches. Now I have to move out while they treat because I refuse to live in a roach infested house with my toddler daughter. This has been the worst experience in my entire life and I am talking with legal to see how I can get out of this lease. Save yourself the headache. Every person I have talked to that has recently moved in has had issue after issue including busting pipes and ceilings.

New management is very professional and easy to work with. Just renewed my lease! Lots of improvements happening!
Would give zero stars if I could. Moved into my unit 2 weeks ago and have seen 22 BROWN RECLUSE SPIDERS! BLACK MOLD in bathroom, birds in the fireplace, and rodents in the hallway! I have a 3 year old child and the office told me to wait out the brown recluse infestation to see if it gets better.. all the while risking my child ending up in the hospital if bitten. Have temporarily moved out to avoid myself or child being bitten. Office screens and IGNORES my phone calls and emails - I called from another number not associated with my name, and they answered the call. Requesting the release of my lease due to the poisonous recluse infestation and they are stating that they won't let me out of my lease. DO NOT MOVE INTO KINGS COVE.
It was decent when I moved in here 6 years ago, but it’s a complete dumpster fire. My A/C hasn’t worked for months, only one of my two bathrooms are useable and we have been trying to get stuff fixed for years. They have only one maintenance person and the told me “I will have to wait in line. Some people have been waiting for repairs for years.” Staff never answers the phone and really unprofessional. Do not move in here. The buildings are falling apart.
I don't even live there and walked to the leasing office, knocked, tried to open the door and I noticed the break sign say we'll be back 2:00... that's when I arrived ?? so I sit while another guy comes up 5 mins later..."they still closed" I tell him yeah. Together we wait. Mind you its hot today. Another car pulls up "are they not open" shaking our heads and say no. She waits in her car...another car pulls up. A lady says "you ain't going to get no one I been trying for days at the office and they won't pick up the phone to answer the calls to do maintenance work". At this point I get up thinking someone has to be in here and I knock 3 times loud enough for someone to hear and immediately look in the window and I kid you not I see a woman behind the desk. Surprised I turn to the people I'm waiting with and say there's some body in here and the lady that live there says "they not going to open that door". I quickly turned around to see the lady duck behind the wall and I scanned the room with it no lit scenery as if it was empty in the first place. We walk back to our cars talking and listening to the current resident explain how things in her apartment that needs fixing and the poor customer service and maintenance and that 4 mins we sat there and talked that lady inside never opened the door to offer any service. Ridiculous! Its a shame I have to give this 1 star just to submit my review but 5 ?????????? from me.
They don't answer phone calls, don't return calls, and don't fix anything when it breaks. My oven doesn't turn on, the sink is not draining, (literally standing water) and they have ignored me completely for over a month now. The most unprofessional leasing agents I've ever dealt with. All they do is make excuses while my kitchen has been unusable for 6wks.
They say they have laundry facilities but they don’t show or tell you that these are in the nastiest of basements full of dust, water leaks and BLACK MOLD! Also you are sharing two tiny W&D that will cost you about 5 dollars per tiny load and your sharing this with the whole building.:. So no one does their laundry here . Others have found this health hazard in their bathrooms, kitchens ( fridge) and toilets and they do nothing about it. So if your Heath matters to you at all it’s not worth it to live here
Since March they don’t do anything around here. You don’t get your phone call answered at any time of the day or a call returned in a week same with email. I can’t recall any time living here where they cleaned the hallways or the laundry room in the basement. I can’t wait to get out of here when my lease is up. No service no ones working.
Apartment is in poor quality and hard to get ahold of someone. I have a mold problem for months. Haven't been able to get it fix.
I loved living at Kings Cove. I moved in Fall 2015, and unfortunately has to move out due to employment issues. The staff and maintenance were always wonderful to me, one agent even called me to inquire if I was having an bug issues and offered to send up Maintenance and or a Pest Control person to check. I told her no, she was happy. I just wish they main Management company would respond to my emails about a past due bill. I paid all my bills when I moved out and willing forfeit my deposits. I’d love to move back there. I always felt completely safe and loved how everything was so close and what they offered. Wish I had time to take in the pool and all their amenities.
This place is a dump. They show you the nicest apartments that they don't rent out . They apartments are not kept up and good Luck getting maintenance to ever fix anything. Don't waste your time at this place
We have lived here only a few months but I have to write a review anyway because oh my goodness we are in love. Maybe we just came from a poorly run complex before, but Kings Cove is amazing. The management is kind, helpful and sweet. Maintenance is quick, thorough and kind. The neighbors are quiet and friendly and extremely helpful. The area is beautiful as it is tucked away from the business that is down the street. Lots of wooded areas, open grass areas and trees. They have a beautiful outdoor pool with a kiddie pool and then an indoor heated pool with a hot tub. They have an exercise room and some other amenities inside the clubhouse that we have yet to discover. The property is kept clean, the trash picked up almost daily so no over flow or smell. We are in one of their few townhomes so I can’t speak for the apartments but from what I’ve seen they are just as nice as the townhome we rent. The backyards are huge and the square footage for the rent price is amazing. We’re so happy here and will never leave until we are ready to buy a home. We love it here and I can’t say that enough.

Great location. Willing to correct whatever obstacles that comes up throughout your stay. However they are the foundation is old. You will deal with bugs and don't get a floor apartment because you will hear your neighbors for everything.
Kings cove is a very nice and quiet place to live. Reasonably priced, and close to the highway. Offering exceptional customer service i see myself staying here for awhile.
