Property Ratings at Kings Gardens
I lived at Kings Garden for almost three years and the staff in the leasing office as well as the maintenance staff are top notch. They are professional, friendly and quick to resolve any issue.
I moved in last and the apartment is in great condition, service manager and office staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Amazing place.
They tried to sell me on the fact that there was a "new" bathroom, which was a clear overlay on top of the preexisting tile in the tub; which I am sure it now full of mildew and mold at this point since it is not even properly attached to the tile. The carpet even had Styrofoam in the corners where the carpet had been pulled up from the walls and was never replaced. But it was not until the second "required" inspection on my apartment home and the warning I got from another young female resident to leave, that I began to feel there was something wrong with the apartment community itself. When you sign a lease here, you agree to one required inspection of your apartment and a mandatory pest prevention a year, which I accepted. But in the course of my one year here I have had three inspections on my apartment home. I have had five maintenance people come in and out of my apartment over the course of three weeks to figure out what was wrong with my A/C unit. It took the fifth person eight hours, a full work day, to replace the entire unit. And don't even think about locking your keys out of your apartment by mistake, or god-forbid your shower head is leaking water not only on to your own bathroom floor, but down the dry wall into your downstairs neighbors apartment; because they won't come. I have waited up to four hours for maintenance staff to come unlock my door for me. One time I was doing my hair in my bathroom, and the maintenance person literally opened my front door and yelled maintenance. They also send the most rude and unprofessional emails, with the same condescending tone they give you over the phone. I called to complain about the number of inspections they were doing, and the number of people entering my apartment home in recent times since I had two inspections within a few months of each other and I was informed every time someone was to enter my home they would call and give me 24 hours notice; which is detailed in my lease. Since then I have gotten no calls about anyone replacing my smoke alarm batteries nor my air filter; which is detailed in your lease that a maintenance person will change these things for free. And I have gotten two more inspection notices with less than 12 hours notice.
There was a robbery 2 weeks ago at gun point, my vehicles have even been tampered with after I tried to stop an assault on a person by three thugs!!! Its crazy here, my wife won't even go walking in the afternoon for exercise. I have resorted to using my second amendment right living at this place. Don't move here its bad.
The management office is very unprofessional and rude. If you ask to get something fix they get mad and majority of the time they do not put in the request. The apartment is definitely not worth the price.
This place is by far the most unprofessional and most deceptive apartment complex I have ever lived in. You get next to nothing in amenities for your money. The grounds are filthy with garbage and alcohol containers from rowdy tenants. There is a massive roach infestation, they were everywhere before we even moved in. Also the management is the root of the problem, the Property manager is extremely disrespectful and will laugh at you if you even raise a concern to her. I wouldn't wish living here on my worst enemy. Save yourself the heartache, and live somewhere else.
