I have enjoyed my stay at kings Mill. My apartment is very nice and the grounds are beautiful. Lots of amenities are available. The maintenance and staff are A+ I would highly recommend to family and friends.

I moved to King's Mill in April of this year with the idea that I would be so much happier off campus. It's a little over my budget, but my roommate really liked it so I just work a little bit more to keep up with my payments. The apartment itself has enough space for us, and I do like the layout. We have an outdoor patio and storage closet that provides a lot of extra space. The complex has a community garden, a pool/hot tub, a fire bit, grills, a dog park, etc. I do have a few issues though. One problem is that we are paying for the upgraded apartment, but almost nothing was actually upgraded when we moved in. There were circumstances that caused us to not be able to stay there for the first three days, but we never got that prorated rent back from them. Some things that they told us when we were going over the lease turned out to be untrue, and it led to false expectations that things would be a certain way. As much as I love living off campus and having my own space, sometimes it doesn't feel worth it. But when I think about that, I just remind myself that I'm fortunate to be where I am. It really isn't a bad place, and it's pros redeem it's cons.
the apartment complex itself is beautiful! I love everything about it except the management. When the maintenance guys come in, the don't give you a chance to open the door. They don't wait to see if you will open the door, maybe a second or two and bam, they start opening the door with their key. That is inappropriate, and unprofessional. It took them 5 days to fix one light in my kitchen. The apartments are way too expensive, for a 2br/2bath it really should be from 900-1000, i don't see why it's more than that. I'm moving out for these reasons, I've been here to finish out one year lease.
Great apartment, quiet area with plenty of green space for children and pets. Office staff are wonderful and responsive to questions or concerns.
