Property Ratings at Kings Point Apartments
Cheap? Yes… you pay for what you get. Would never recommend anyone to live here.. my ac is constantly going out.. leaks in the roof. Mold in my apartment. Very out dated
The negative reviews are old because this place is great. I’ve only lived here a few months but I love it! If I have any issues at all, Lisa is just a call away. She responds quickly and makes sure that things are handled quickly. The apartments have been updated and remodeled so if you passed on this place before, take a second look. You won’t regret it.
I just toured the apartments. Not only are they spacious and beautifully updated but Lisa and Dominique, who work in the office, were super friendly. Not only did they answer all of my questions, they weren’t pushy and didn’t pressure me to sign a lease after my tour, which is one of the reasons that I have decided to make this place my new home. It looks like a great community and the friendly staff is a bonus!
Was not allowed to see apartment. Took my money and put me in an apartment that was not painted an needs all kinds of repairs which management knew. Don’t care about your living condition at all. Almost a month and repairs still not done
Bad management. Lies. Owner doesn’t care. Mold. Termites. Outdated. Location is the only thing keeping it afloat
This place is horrible. I would not wish my worst enemy on this place. They are disorganized. Maintenance is always low staffed. So many things wrong with apartment. No timeline to fix it. Could be months to fix the smallest thing. Do not come here if you can help it. It is the cheapest for a reason. Run away from this place like it’s a haunted house because you will not get anything taken care of. It’s crazy that people are still coming to live here but I always see people come and go.
For all who are enticed by the price of this apartment, I get it. Rent is expensive but in this case you get what you pay for. Prior to moving here I read the reviews about this apartment and thought the reviews were placed by people who were needy and asking a lot of the apartment staff when they dont pay enough rent for them to care. However after living here I understand their is ALOT wrong with this place and none of it is ever fixed. The prices increase when nothing has improved in fact things have regressed. You would think after alerting the complex that something is wrong with the building they would want you to prevent further damage to the apartment by fixing it however they choose to allow the situations to get worse and pocket the extra cash they get by increasing the rent without spending the money on labor and maintenance to fix the apartments. In many cases tenants are just asking for basic customer service or restoration, not expecting them to go above and beyond, however they cannot offer that in many cases. Be very careful if you choose to live here, ensure that you have good renters insurance and don't plan to be here very long.
I called and was looking for a three bedroom, but was informed that a 2 bedroom with a loft was available and it has more space! Came for a visit, saw the apartment, loved it! Applied the same day, moved in 2 days later. Love my apartment, everything was updated with new appliances and new carpet. Always get my calls answered and maintenance requests handled promptly! Not to mention, the price is just right!
Zero stars. My husband and I moved here and we were told that we would have hardwood floors in our kitchen, upgraded cabinetry, and updated bathroom mirrors and light fixtures. The day we moved in here the floor was checkered (black and white) NO UPDATED cabinetry all they did was paint the cabinets, the inside is all wood all they did was a facelift on the outside the inside is totally 80s. We had a 70s thermostat which had our electric bill high because it was not energy efficient. The dishwasher knob has been broken since the day we moved here. We have to run the dishwasher twice to get dishes clean. On the same day of move in the sliding glass door was off the tracks we couldn’t open the door, the closet doors they blamed it on it being new carpet. Please please just don’t even waste your time the list can go on. Please take these reviews serious as I wish I did. Believe EVERYTHING on here you read. This place has NOT 1 ceiling light or ceiling fan. The only places that have a ceiling light is in the kitchen not in the living room or bedrooms. Please I highly advise you to run! They are liars! Worst experience ever. We are officially moving out.
Unprofessional company, deceptive business practices, refuse to show actual apartments, threaten to cancel you from a unit when requesting to see it prior to signing the lease (although you paid a holding fee and have an approved application), poor customer service...I can go on and on and on
I spoke to someone who was upset about this place and decided to try the application process myself. In my entire life I have never had more problems than trying to just APPLY to live here. Customer service was bad, nobody answered with my THREE CALLS. They were closed at 4:30 even though it says they close at 5:30.... Property looked kinda rough to be honest, and I was not impressed by the receptions response to my questions... "Oh lemme ask my manager... Oh lemme ask my manager." I'm willing to understand, but literally NO answers to even base questions like, "Do you know what units are available?" This place is a joke and other residents seem to think so to. Do not waste your time.
I would not suggest this apartment community to my worst enemy. The staff is not knowledgeable about “leasing” and customer service, they are VERY OUTDATED so not understanding the price ranges. You can not pay rent online or at the leasing office you have to go to a complete different location on the other side of town or mail it in which is not convenient. Small bathrooms small kitchens and the overall community (pool, gym) is a joke again for the price they’re asking for??don’t even get me started on the terrible parking rules???????I have nothing good to say and will not renew this lease.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I wish I could give them no stars .This is one of the worst apartment complexes in the East End of Henrico. My husband and I moved in Sept 2017 and stayed there for a year. We had nothing but problems with them. The first problem we experienced was the lock on our front door was jammed and that was pretty much the ONLY thing they fixed while we were there. When I went up to the leasing office to let them know what was going on Brandi from the leasing office felt the need came over to our home while the maintenance man was fixing out door , and thought it was a good idea to take a tour of our home when she wasn't invited in. Since she was there i pointed out some things that was wrong with the place. One there was a hole underneath the flooring in the kitchen in front of the stove she looked at the floor and had the nerve to say nothing was wrong with the floor. You could clearly see the hole there was nothing under there supporting the floor, just by stepping on it you can feel it caving in, they also did a horrible job painting, some of the wall outlets didn't work. January comes our neighbors moved out because of roaches! We called the leasing office to get the exterminators out to spray our home. They never came out to do the job we ended up calling someone ourselves. Our A.C went out in April 2018 and the called us August 31, 2018 right before the last month of our lease to tell us the A.C was fixed . We were living there with no A.C FOR 5 MONTHS. We called them EVERYDAY and they didn't anything. When it came down to paying rent you couldn't pay your rent at the leasing office you have to go across town to King's Properties on West Broad near Willow Lawn Mall. You can't make any payments online. Don't waste your time applying for this location. Keep looking and do more research.
Decent experience, but nothing to write home about. For the price you pay, the space is considerable. The overall vibe and atmosphere is relatively quiet and the people that live there seem to be nice. The property managers have switched twice now in the time we've been here (4 months) and there's been little to no improvement with service tickets. You have to ask upwards of four times before half assed work gets done. I'm handier than their best handyman apparently. Paying rent off site is sketchy, but the staff is kind and helpful. Mailbox key took 2 months after constant request, and a formal and legal letter of complaint did happen to jab their attention. Rent is cheap for 7-800 Sq. Feet and apartment is fine. They let people smoke so if your neighbors smoke weed, good lord. They'll have at it. We complained about if but of course nothing was done. Police don't seem to report around here much too, but one of our neighbors got arrested for drug trafficking. For a place with low income restrictions, you'd think the people living here would be responsible and hard working adults. Doesn't seem to entirely be the case when you let anyone and their friend sublease without permission. Just come legally prepared and with a substantial amount of common sense. Only worth staying for the price, and overall quiet atmosphere for a somewhat busy main road. It's within good distance of the city, and the drives to work aren't too bad. Word of advice, get your own laundry machines if possible. They intentionally mishandle the facilities and let people smoke in them. There's little to no security. I filed a complaint with their corporate office and hopefully they will be installing secured and non-public access signs. They shake a little if you contact their superiors it seems.
Never fixes anything within a week. It's been 4 months and my apartment is still not fix. They never answer there phones. go somewhere else.
Don't waste your time with kings pointe they are the absolute worst.. their maintenance department is at a all time low... (couple of idiots...) takes them 2 months to fix the smallest problems... and the ppl in the rent office is the worst.. lie to you just to get you out of the office.. I absolutely hate it over here.. can't wait until my lease is up... take my advice and stay away from kings pointe.. apts are old and worn out nothing is up to date.. and once again the ppl that wrk here are very unprofessional.... take it from me if you have anywhere else to go please move there...
Lived at Kings Point Apartments for a year and couldn't wait until my lease was up. Overpriced, out-of-date apartments with a serious bug problem inside and out. They don't have a contractor to plow the roads when it snows and you don't guarantee parking so except to fight for parking. Kings Properties are money hungry and don't care about the renters. Once I moved out, the charged me additional charges that were there once I moved in (stained carpet, holes in walls, etc) Walls are paper thin so except to her your neighbors!!
Kings Point is the perfect place for singles and families wanting a quiet place to just be themselves. Spaceous apartment and townhomes, awesome pool thats never too crowded, and a quiet atmosphere to dwell. I absolutely love my home for more than 4 years. I would recommend to anyone.
Great area. The grounds are maintained very well. However, I do wish the rooms were larger.
I can't say that this complex is the worst but not nearly the best. It needs to be renovated and Brought more up to date with the appliances and fixtures. The pros are that it is a quiet neighborhood and close to the city. They are about $100 over priced on each of the different models. There is also a slight spider problem. My one year and I have been bitten by them a few times.
This apartment is in a great location in Henrico. It's a great apartment for first time renters and college students not try to pay to much for rent. The that live around here are very friendly and kind. The people that work in the office are very helpful and answer and questions you might have. The only I don't like is that you can't pay your rent here and the rental office you have to far out to there headquarters to pay your rent. That the only thing I don't like. But overall Kings Point are great apartments.
Kings point apartment are an excellent place to live. Rent is very reasonable, it's a quiet complex, and pets are allowed for a reasonable fee. Parking is not a problem either.
