The Southwest Wichita area provides residents with access to the best that Kansas has to offer. Along with its affordable rentals, residents enjoy the neighborhood’s excellent location. Located only five miles south of Downtown Wichita, Southwest Wichita hosts several schools, parks, and family-friendly amenities. Families love gathering at Osage Park during the summer for its pool and splash pad, while OJ Watson Park nearby offers even more fun with paddleboat rentals, mini-golf, pony rides, and more. There are many casual restaurants, convenience stores, and grocers located along South Seneca Street for residents to enjoy, but many locals head north to downtown or Delano, one of the city’s trendiest neighborhoods known for its dynamic dining and nightlife scenes.

Property Ratings at Kingsborough Apartments
Had a great experience with Sheila and Sandy . Place looks great and even has amazing fall decorations out I felt right at home
Property Manager at Kingsborough Apartments, Responded To This Review
Thank you for giving us a 5-star rating! We're happy to know that you've had a great experience with us and look forward to your next visit. Have an amazing rest of your week!
The fire department had to tell the apartments that my building was unsafe to the landlords for them to let me out of my lease. Water was pouring through the walls and they acted like nothing was wrong. Sewage from my upstairs neighbors’ bathroom would drip from the ceiling for the 6 months i lived there…. These good reviews are obviously fake from the company
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!! if I could give these apartments a 0 star rating I would. let's start with this ( I didn't want to live here I was out of options ) with that being said the office staff is in desperate need of being let go. they don't care to do there jobs and they are rude to boot. I've been given nothing but attitude anytime I spoke with them. my lease stated I was living at magnolia lake apartments. when in fact I lived at kings borough they changed the apartment number 5 times before move in so the apartment I got was not what I had originally agreed to. when I asked for a second floor apartment I was given a third floor one instead. there is black mold that they have painted over in just about every apartment. they try to make it seem like people default on these lease for literally anything. my neighbor was given a 3 day notice due to her making a complaint about rowdy tenets at 4am. ( you could hear there music verbatim through the whole building) the maintenance team is a joke. they will paint over anything they can including but not limited to mold, tooth paste, bugs. please save yourself the headache and find something else literally anything else
the quality of the the work done and the apartment overall is poor. it looks nice when you move in but things fall apart quickly.
This is a great place I’ve lived in 2 other apartment complexes before this and in my opinion this is hands down the best with the monthly cost of living to the front desk service. Theirs Schools close in the area for families. Dog park for pups an a fenced in playground and outside pool. I say 5 stars and you get great fast office which is hard to come by compared to other places in wichita.
Very friendly office staff, good customer services. Just missed out on a apartment but said if anything comes avaliable that they would let me know right away. ???? for the staff.
I been here over a year and it has been good, Pest control is here every month, and office staff are really nice.
I love living here, The manager Alice and her staff truly care about the tenants. They are quick to respond to maintenance issue and pest control is here every month. its a really nice place to live.
I am a resident, since the past two and half months, I have been making multiple requests on the move-in problems but the issues were partly fixed till date. Every time they change the maintenance persons and the manager keep asking excuses. The data given by manager is no way matched with the maintenance persons! Even for replacing a bathroom stopper it took more than two months !! I am surprised the way the residents are left like this without resolving the issues!! The maintenance persons say 1 week it takes months to resolve any issue.
I've been here for 15 1/2 years and seen this property change owners 2 or 3 times. Lots and lots of different managers over the last 2 years. Can't get my carpet replaced even though it's about 18 years old. The office staff is always pleasant and helpful. Just as soon as we get to know the manager, they bring in another one. Maintenance could be better. Again, every time we get used to one maintenance guy, they switch on us. Overall, it's nice place in a nice location. I've been pretty lucky with the neighbors I've had - a few bad ones, but mostly pretty good people - friendly and mostly considerate of everyone else.
This place is clean. Maintenance request are answered and resolved quickly. The office people friendly. Located in a good area. You definitely get your moneys worth.
I've lived here for 2 years. For the price of the apartments these are a really good deal. The apartment complex is older but new management has updated a lot of things. They are located by a lot of restaurants. Overall I like my apartment and plan to stay here for a while.
Ever since moving into Village Park at Kingsborough it has been a total battle. The first two months I had an inoperable toilet and dishwasher. The toilet would flood over with every flush, no matter the waste content. I was constantly having to turn the water off and on for two months, calling literally every day for them to hopefully fix it. They would tell me some Bologna about how there's a matainence order being placed and they will visit the apartment later that day. There were no visits, other than when I called the emergency maintence line because the flooding spilled over and was quite serious. He snaked the line, and said he will recommend the office calls for a plumber. Long story short, I finally got a new toilet after 2 months because I told the office I now refuse to turn off the water to prevent flooding. Like magic, after a flood, it took 2 days to get a new toilet. All the whilst I was unable to use my dishwasher because of grime, mold, and it did not drain. It took a couple weeks after the toilet, for them to replace the dishwasher. Their policy is to leave notice when maintence enters your home, and there has yet to ever be a single notice left in my apartment. Their voicemail is useless, don't even bother - they do not follow up or listen to them. All of the office associates have sour attitudes, with the exception of Rosa, who seems to be the only one who will actually help you at this place. For the past month and a half I have been dealing with an air condition issues that I call on average once a week about. They have tried telling me no maintence requests have been put in, even though I have fully documented each time I have called, who I spoke with, and what each outcome was - they somehow have none of these records. My bathroom sink also doesn't drain. I have an 8 foot section of carpet that is soaked through so bad it sloshes when you step on it (this is due to the air conditioner issue). No one here seems to care this is a persons home. They don't care that my health is being put as risk because of mold, because of highly likely electrical surges that can result in a fire. You will save a lot of time and money (my electric bill is almost 300 a month, because of my a/c that I keep at 76. Also, I'm rarely home working 12-14 hours nearly every day - how is it so high?) There have been reported break-ins in vehicles in the parking lot. Break-ins on the laundry rooms (which are disgusting by the way).
