Property Ratings at Kingswick Apartments
Way too over priced for what you get. We lived in a two bedroom apt, couldn’t get out of there fast enough. The office tells you that your apt is updated and does not look like the model apt; when in fact it looks exactly like the model apt, VERY outdated for the price you pay. Bright yellow and pink toilets and showers, 1950s stove top and oven. NO drawer space in the kitchen at all. The windows too are outdated. When trying to open one in the spring time, the ENTIRE window fell out and since it was a weekend they couldn’t have anyone come out until Monday and even then they had to order a part which didn’t come in for a whole week. So we had to literally cover the window with a trash bag and hope the rain didn’t come in too bad. The flooring clearly isn’t installed properly because all types of bugs/insects crawl in from under the carpet. Spring/Summer you will CONSTANTLY have centipedes, silverfish, and spiders crawling up from under the carpet and find them all over the apt. The only good thing about the apt was the layout. Aside from that- We don’t recommend living there unless you don’t care having your old neighbors complain about every little thing YOU do including where you park because most of them have been living there for years and will complain if you steal “their spot” even though there is no assigned parking. Also if you don’t mind having your neighbors in all your business.
I have been at Kingswick since April and love it! The staff is great and so helpful. There was a squirrel in my wall and animal control would not come. I called the on call maintenance and Billy came out to check things out. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was okay! I really appreciated it! I would recommend Kingswick to anyone looking for an apartment.
I had a 1 BR apt from 2015 to 2017, I only moved out due to rent increase, which I understand but it's difficult when you have a single income. I loved that there wasn't any noise. I only had to call maintenance 3 times in my 2 year stay due to shower draining issues (I was on the first floor) and another time when my washer broke and flooded half of the apartment. I never had any issues there! Great place to live! Wish I could've stayed longer. I would definitely move back there if I had the money.
I want to thank you for such a quick response for my maintenance repair request on Tuesday 12/15/2015 for my bedroom closet door being off the track...Within 1 hour your maintenance man Billy was here and had it repaired within 10 minutes and was a very pleasent person while doing the job. I am so glad I live where there is such a great maintenance crew and great office staff that takes care of any business that I as a tenant can rely on...Thank you...And Happy holidays.

I have been living here almost 6 years. If there's 1 downfall it's drafty windows. Otherwise, from the office staff, maintenance, grounds keepers there is a true feeling of family. Apartments are spacious. It's all in how you decorate that makes it truly your home. I especially like decorating for the major holidays. Ever since I came here I felt like this is where I should live. I have always had great and helpful neighbors. Though there are children in this complex you would never know it. It's that quiet. A home is what you make it to be. For me, though I live in an apartment complex it is indeed my home! I love the nature all around me. For quiet, spacious living, professional office leasing agents and management to top notch maintenance come to Kingswick Apartments and experience the peace and serenity of Kingswick Apartments!
I sold my house and needed a sort term lease (6 month rental )and I looked at several apartments in the area. The minute I walked into Kngswick, the young woman who works weekends made me feel at home! Seriously so sweet and her husband happened to be there who is in charge of the maintenance. They were amazing and they showed me the one bedroom model and it was large with a humongous closet! I signed the lease and met the MGR of the property. Let me tell you, if you want to live somewhere where they don't take any foolishness on the property you need to rent here! Joan is amazing and they are totally on top of everything! They are extremely responsive and the closet space is to die for .... Great place and they kept their word on everything they told me when I signed the lease! Oh and by the way... I talked to several residents before I moved in and they all loved living there... That says it all!
I've lived here almost three years. It's a very quiet, beautiful scenic setting and I love the fact that the grounds are manicured to perfection. I call this my "Monica and Rachel" apartment (a la Friends) because it's huge and such a bargain in this crazy rental market (my unit includes heat and hot water). The living room is large enough to divide it into many configurations. My sitting/tv area faces the gorgeous property. I have four bookcases tucked in the corner by the oversized closet which doubles as a utility room. The closet also houses my shoes on shelving which makes getting ready in the morning a snap. My unit also has a washer and dryer which makes laundry easy-breezy! The dining room comfortably fits a table and four chairs (six chairs when the table is expanded). My kitchen has new cabinets and appliances which was a bonus! I used the extra space for a small pantry since I really like to feel like my home is magazine-chic. Next to patio doors I have a bench (which doubles as extra seating) and a floor lamp. The patio is a gem. It fits my table and chairs as well as space for my electric grill and plants. The view of the greenery is nothing less than picturesque. I've taken many photos the the sunrises I've seen from my patio. There is also a storage closet where I store seasonal decorations and beach gear. The bedrooms are rediculously large!!! I chose to use the smaller of the two as my room which easily fits a queen bed, nightstands and a dresser with room to spare. There is more than enough space for an occasional chair which I plan on adding at some point. My kids share the master (which includes a 1/2 bath) and it easily provides enough space for two twin beds, dressers and toys (and other kids stuff). The closets in both bedrooms are exceptionally large and have more than enough space to keep your space tidy. Let's not forget the super bonus: there's also a pool you can join for a small feel. Very nice perk on those hot summer days. Walks in the morning or evening makes this a real community. Folks are super friendly. I love living here! and feel that of the other places I've seen, the location and value is superb! Oh, and it's proximity to 295 it's fantastic. It makes my work commute super simple and easy. Awesome place to live!!!
Kingswick Apartments in West Deptford/Thorofare NJ was the obvious choice after weeks of apartment hunting by my fiancee and I in the tri-county area. Located minutes from route 295 and the NJ turnpike, and close to route 55, the commute to anywhere you want to be is convenient. Philadelphia is 15 minutes away without traffic, as is the Deptford Mall area. The apartments themselves are not the cheapest you will find, but they are by FAR the best value in the area. These are the largest apartments in the 780-1300 per month price range. Huge living room and bedroom, spacious kitchen with plenty of space. Great windows with lots of light all around, and a nice little porch area the perfect size for a bistro table and a handful of chairs. Outside and inside the apartments are clean and well maintained. Staff are helpful and courteous, and the few times we have had to call for maintenance service in our year time here they have come the same day within an hour. There is a pool available for a slight extra cost which is clean and lovely. Grounds are well maintained. The only complaint we have is that snow removal was not always prompt, but the FREE HEATING more than makes up for it! (No free cooling in summer, but c'mon, how much can you ask for?) Also, if you hate Comcast then, sorry, but Comcast is the only service for cable/internet. Oh well! As an added bonus, if you convince someone to live at Kingswick and they list you as a referral, you get $500 off your next rent! We have taken advantage of this twice, and have two friends next door as well as the $1000 credit! Wohoo!
