We’ve been so happy here. One thing I would like to see change: people dump furniture and other large items in the trash area, and they never use the trash compactor properly. Oh, and they don’t recycle properly either. I would like to see clear signage for how to properly recycle per city guidelines, how to use the trash compactor, and video recording of the trash area to deter dumpers. If we do not all recycle properly then it’s all going to the trash anyways.

I've been living in this apartment since last April. It's a very secure, quiet, and pleasant place to stay. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that sometimes maintenance requests take a long time to be addressed. Overall, it's a great place to live :)

It isn’t much of a gated community when the gates don’t work. Apartment breezeways are often dirty, especially after the storms we had. It would be nice if they would blow out the dirt, leaves, and trash at least twice a month.

We have moved to this place just few months back. As of now it's good, Polite, well maintained apartment. Only problem we have faced there's 3-4 times power cut within 1 months. Twice it happened due to hurricane & thunderstorm. But other 2 power cut happened without any cause. Apart from that it's very safe and well maintained apartment to live.

We’ve been here almost 2 years and have no complaints. The apartments are clean. The community is nice. It’s pet friendly. The office staff is easy to work with. It’s also very conveniently located close to shopping and a major highway so it’s easy to get to.

Nasty residents
The location is great. Unfortunately the residents don't seem to care about cleanliness. I've had to report dog poop on the staircase and near the landing several times. The stairs and walkways are also very stained from obvious spills or leaks from trash. Trash bins are always left out longer than what is allowed and people do not pick up after themselves. I saw an Arizona tea can sit in the walkway for at least 2 weeks. It's actually embarrassing to have any visitors due to how dirty the staircase is. I'm surprised maintenance does not regularly power wash around here.

Avoid
Avoid. Nothing gets done on time. Repairs are sub par. Infestation is common. We've had the exterminator out 5 times and nothing substantial has been done. Roaches crawled on the lady's foot when she showed us the apartment. Cabinets were supposed to be painted they never were. Constant issues with the drain and thermostat. On top of it all kingwood Glen will demand a premium that is simply out of line with both comps in the area and all together better properties in the area. My advice: run.

Terrible
The front desk lady is awfully rude. They don’t pick up trash like they promise to. The water is not drinkable and they won’t fix that issue. And there isn’t enough visitor parking spots so they’re always having issues with people being towed who are residents

Nice place to call home
My wife and I moved in here a ways back and it's been a good place to call home. It's in a good location, safe and overall clean. Good people live here too. You can have pets and all the extras work. Never had any issues. There are new people in the office and they are nice and seem eager to make this place even better. Works for me. Apartments are nice, never had any problems with stuff working and most important, my wife is happy. Thanks y'all

Resident safety is not a priority
I have lived at these apartments for 2 years. I moved here because it is a GATED community and advertised as one of the safest around. In the past year, several people have had their vehicles and tires stolen. I myself had all 4 tires stolen off of my vehicle overnight in the middle of the week. The management did nothing to help me, just stating that the incident was my fault and that I was not cautious enough. Now I get to pay for 4 new tires while the apartment fails to notify residents of multiple vehicle thefts, and continue to leave the gates open during the day and night. I enjoyed living here, but I feel that all residents’ safety is now compromised under this new management. If you value your vehicle and loved ones, this is not the apartment complex for you.

Love it!
I have lived here for multiple years now and there is a reason I choose to stay at these apartments. Everyone in the front office, mostly Sudina because she is the person who I go to, is amazing at helping everyone when they need it. Maintenance is always quick and easy to deal with online, and if something goes wrong with the apartment they work with you to fix it in a timely manner.

Imt Kingwood Office Employees
If you come to check out the property or inquire on availability I would strongly advise you to ask for Sudina or Brittany, even Sarah the assistant manager is always friendly and willing to help with a professional and pleasant attitude, no complains at all with them. Rosa on the other hand, is flat out fake and rude. I personally have witnessed her treat certain people differently. She always acts like it's such an inconvenience to her to have to help you. Also, if someone asks her to do something for you she will roll her eyes and take her time to do it. She thinks she is too good to work there much less help someone. If you go in and she is the only one there just leave and come back another time.

Save yourself and go elsewhere!
This apartment complex is horrible! It is way over priced for how outdated and old everything inside the apartments are. My washer and dryer dont work right, my dishwasher is so old its disgusting, my fridge doesnt work right and even my showers have issues. I submit a work order weekly and still nothing works right because the maintenance crew is so lazy. Kids run around unsupervised hitting cars and breaking your property. There is NEVER anywhere to park. If you have a life and enjoy having friends or family over DO NOT MOVE HERE! There will never be anywhere for them to park. Even if your family drives over 2,000 miles to see you they will have to turn around because they wont have anywhere to park. it is outrageous!!! Seriously look else where. This place doesnt even deserve 1 star. Save yourself and dont get stuck in an awful place like I am.

good but could be better
I love my new apartment. the only issue for me is that I've put in a work order 3 times and they haven't showed up to fix the problem. it's a minor problem so not a big deal. otherwise I have not to complain about. the staff is great and the community is nice and quiet.

To park or not to park
Being someone who works late nights, it is always nice to be able to park in front of your building and walk straight up to your apartment. However, this is not the case. Most nights, when I arrive home, are spent scoping out the place for parking and if you are lucky you just might find a place if some kind soul has left. If I am not so lucky I am left to park on the complete opposite side of the complex with a long walk to my apartment. It is even so bad that residents are left to park in the visitor parking, leaving no space for your visitors to park. Don't get me wrong though, the apartments are quite wonderful and spacious on the inside and there are a ton of amenities provided to residents. (Just no parking spots)

Good price, well managed
The complex is well managed and the community is kept clean. They are good at fixing things when they break down and have a nice, friendly staff. The apartments are a good size at a very good price. The area is far if you have to commute downtown. Also, when moving in, they did not clean the carpets and there was doghair everywhere. When we notified them they did replace the carpet which was nice.

Where for art thou parking?
The pricing for the apartment is great for the size and especially where they are located, but one thing that my roommates and I struggle with every day is trying to find a parking spot when we get home in the evening.

Want a better area
I'm entering this because I want to be able to live in a nice environment for me and my boyfriends kids, we have 4 kids and we need the help and room. At this time we live in a 1 bedroom and we cant afford the 3bedroom we need. Over all my apts. are great and other than the lack of updates it is a great place but the prices are way to high. We are wanting to move to the Porter, TX area because it is cheaper in that area and better for us as a family.

Former homeowner, new to Houston
Apartment living has it's pros and cons. At IMT Kingwood they have some of the larger square foot apartments in the area. There is a small play ground, a nice pool and a dog park. There are several areas where you can grill and enjoy the outdoors. The business center is only open during business hours. The gym and the pool table are always open with a key entry. The staff are friendly and try to handle any issues as soon as they can. Some of the cons are PARKING. Once you get home after work, you don't want to leave because when you return you might not find a place to park. You can rent a garage for $100 or a carport for $50 a month. They also have small storage rentals. We live downstairs and you can hear the people upstairs. But the people who use live upstairs, they must have stomped and jumped around because they would rattle our light fixtures. The new people are a whole lot better. Over all the layout and sq ft won us over.

Bad Place To Rent
Lived here for a year, paid my rent on time each and every time. Upon finally moving out of this place and VERIFYING all my bills we're paid they sent a $241 dollar charge to a collection agency without even contacting me to let me know. Which is funny. I left the apartment in immaculate condition and cleaned it following their guide they provide. This is a good example of a poor complex with bad management. Do Not Rent Here!

DO NOT MOVE HERE!
I've lived here only a short 6 months. Thank God I didn't sign a longer lease. The front office staff are worthless and rude. The maintenance guys don't speak English, don't understand scheduling, and take FOREVER to come and fix anything. We've requested our oven be fixed several times, and asked that they call us before entering the apartment. They don't show up for weeks and they never call. Oven is still broken. I've called to have them update the gate code with my correct phone number 3 times. It still doesn't work. There are a million kids that live here, they are running around at 11pm at night. They constantly leave their toys bikes scooters out in the common areas. People let their dogs defecate all over the place and never pick it up. It is EVERYWHERE. When we first moved in the apartment was filthy. The carpet was stained. I asked that they come clean it. Never happened. Parking a nightmare. Can't wait to move out of here!

Good area .. just below average complex.
For the price .. which by the way is inflated with the mandatory insurance and the exaggerated water bill that is tacked on every month ... this place isn't worth it! The layout doesn't support their amount of residents. If they move you in the wrong building, you may have to walk a city block ((or two)) just to park your car unless you want to cough up an extra monthly fee, which changes depending on their mood and who you talk to! Upon moving in, we were told we don't have any problems out here only to be notified of 2 issues with other residents vehicles in the first month! Trying to get any issue corrected takes multiple calls to the office before someone finally gets in the golf cart to check it out. The train which is just across the street BLASTS its horn 24 hours a day with no silent time during the night. Residents are allowed to leave barking dogs out at any time of night and management's solution is "Call the police, we can't get involved." even if you have proof of what unit's dogs are barking! And of course, the police tell you to take it up with the office because they can't keep coming out for that. If I could move out now without the financial hit of breaking the lease, this review would be for uHaul instead of this apartment complex.

Lived Here Temporarily....Great!
We moved into these apts. from out-of-state while our home was being built....the staff was friendly, anything that needed to be done in apt. was accomplished promptly. Clean, the only thing I did not like is that some dog-owners did not pick up after their own dogs, which should have been enforced a bit more strongly. Other than that, enjoyed our time there, very spacious!
