Property Ratings at La Contessa Apartments
Noisy downstairs neighbor has ruined my experience here. 6 complaints and nothing seems to happen. Recently we’ve had issues with ants in the apartment. The ants have also damaged the A/C unit
I think La Contessa is something I would recommend to family and friends or anyone looking for a living it has gym, swimming pool, wifi, I would pay for gym and swimming pool and now I have it here without not having to much expenses.
Great place to live. It’s clean and well maintained. I moved from California for work and the property reminds me of home. All the shopping and fast food is all right there close by. I would recommend it to everyone.

Very kind and professional office managers. They answered all my questions and made moving in very easy. I appreciate all their information and going through everything I was signing. The welcome packet was very informative. Our carpets were cleaned and floors were cleaned and waxed. The community is very lively and has lots of cute fur babies. So far, my experience has been good.

Needed maintenance right away. The AC system was not working properly, and they were unable to fix it the day of. They temporary input an AC unit on my window, which is now leaking water all over the carpet.

Our stay at the La Contessa apartments has been great so far. Having all the amenities the apartment offers is so convenient. There’s 2 pools, 2 gyms, washer and dryer in unit and lots of bbq grills. The community is clean and quiet. Location is very convenient. The apartments are pretty pricey though and wish they offered stainless steel appliances.

So far, good experience. Maintenance is #1. It's a quiet residential area. Lots of cabinet space in one bedroom apt. The staff has been helpful when I voice my concerns.

A great community, plenty of quality amentities. Apartment on move in did have some flaws; wet carpet, ceiling water damage, wall scratches.

Attractive location, centrally located and quiet. A place where nature is heard peacefully and neighbors are families of all ages reading in their older years or raising families as well as younger people living a healthy lifestyle. I truly enjoy spending time in my patio observing all types of breeds of beautiful dogs out for their daily exercise or on their way to the puppy park. I like living in a clean community, nicely landscaped with plenty of parking for guests and nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city yet so close to everyone and everything one might need. I am at home here at La Contessa.

Very disappointed. My gf and I really wanted to love these apartments but issues with the gate and the bugs have really soured our experience thus far. We will not be recommending this place to anyone, nor will we renew our lease

3 weeks living here at La Contessa and every day living here gets better and better. Really quiet place for a good sleep. Love the green areas and my dogs love them more. Really close to a lot of stores and restaurants.

Es un lindo lugar para vivir. Muy tranquilo y generalmente limpio. Tienen que brindar los servicios de fumigation pues es parte de la renta y hasta ahora no he visto que fumigation. Los request atenderlos de forma rapido. Pues lkevo mas de tres meses esperando por la reparacion o remplazo de lavadora.

Hola, nos da gusto que este disfrutando de la comunidad, nadamas para recordarle que los servicios the fumigacion si son incluidos en su renta pero el servicio si tiene algun tipo de problema relacionado adentro de su departamento son por solicitud y poniendo una orden de mantenimiento. Nosotro recomendamos a nuestros residented poner una solicitud una vez por mes y que sea parte de mantenimiento de pest control. Relacionado a su orden de mantenimiento de la lavadora por favor llame a la gerente para poder platicar de una solucion permanente, quisieramos poderlo ayudar con esto lo mas antes possible. Complex is always well kept! Haven’t had any noise complaints yet. Amenities are well maintained and always ready for use. Located in a good neighborhood where a lot of stores and restaurants are accessible! It’s great to be able to go for walks, the apartments themselves are beautiful and well kept! No complaints at all, it’s been a good 3 months living here!

I only lived in this apartment for half the time I was leasing and the carpet was in great condition when I left. They charged me $130 to clean the carpet! They charged me $150 for cheap rubber bracelets for "pool access" when I moved out. They also failed to calculate my water bill correctly for 4 months and charged me an extra $120 after taking my full deposit.

wanted to wait at least a full month living here before I wrote a review & so far I do like living at La Contessa. The apartments are nice & the grounds are well kept, the girls in the office (they know who they are) are nothing short of wonderful & do what they can with the resources they have. MOST issues ive had, have been resolved to my satisfaction & while the apartments are pricey for the area of Laredo compared to other parts of the country, an apartment costs what it should. My only issues so far & the reason for not giving this place a full 5 stars, have been with the amenities. The lazy river pool has been closed since before I got here & updates on when that will return/be cleaned/ reopened have seized, frankly its a shame. Also the treadmills & other equipment at the gym by the office need to be repaired & have not been. (the motors have a mind of their own & constantly stop & go on their own forcing me to use the other gym which is further away) Again I understand the staff has their hands full but these issues need to be resolved. In closing, if you're in need of an apartment in Laredo these really are some of, if not the best in my opinion. It's well located, (especially for me that works nearby) next to grocery stores, shopping & im glad i've moved here. Looking forward to the next year

La Contessa is a good place to live. The pandemic has limited the use of some facilities, but that is not management's fault. It has the normal issue like noisy neighbors, but overall it has been good.
My time at La Contessa was one of the best parts of living in Laredo. My apartment was first class with excellent facilities. I felt extremely safe in my surroundings and was extremely pleased with the professionalism exhibited by those who run and operate the apartments. I strongly recommend La Contessa to anyone who is looking for great value. (Rio O.)

La Contessa is a great housing community that offers a lot to its residents. The staff is very friendly, approachable, and responsive to emails. It is in a very convenient location right by the HEB and Target. Overall, the move-in experience was seamless and easy.
