Property Ratings at La Ensenada Villas
I’ve been living here since January 2022 and it’s been good. Maintenance stays on top of fixing things and pest control comes whenever I put in a request. Only thing I would have a problem with is the laundry room. Washers and the dryers don’t get your clothes clean and dry. Having to use your phone to start them is frustrating so I take my clothes to the laundry mat but other than that living here has been cool.
The place itself is very quite and plenty of parking. The staff however is so rude its unbelievable. The living conditions are atrocious. I lived here for two weeks before I simply ran. bed bugs INFESTATION, roaches INFESTATION, and to add insult to injury rodents INFESTATION and when I say they do not care they DO NOT. I even experienced mold. I even went around to see if this was an issue in a separate building within the complex after I notices a lot of furniture being thrown out. Well there was my answer the entire property is in no condition to be lived in. disgusting to say the least.
After a ten day application process, my application was marked incomplete because I was unable to provide a replacement for a lost social security card. The social security office is shut down due to Covid 19. Westland was unwilling to wait for the card by mail, due to the shutdown. Rather than decline my application which would require the return of my holding fee, they marked my application “incomplete” and declined to return my holding fee.
Bad place to live! Unsafe environment, random people walking throughout the night, no type of security throughout complex. The up keep of these apartments on the outside is horrible and nasty! How do you keep the rent office nice, neat and add flowers but your complex is busted?! Unjustifiable!!! Management is horrible when it come to customer service, no professionalism at all. I would not suggest this apartment complex to anyone. Hopefully management that this serious and handle these concerns or they will continue to lose tenants. I left within a year wouldn’t sign another lease with them.
There is mold in our apartment because the air conditioner has been broken and leaking water for 7 months now. The water is pouring out of the A.C so bad that it can fill a 5 gallon bucket in two hours. Our dinning room and half the living room and kitchen is usually flooded. We have complained a number of times since this first happen back in March and maintenance hasn't fix it. The mold in our apartment is now affected our health. We have been nice and patience with Westland, but we can't take it anymore. We have less then month on our lease, we can't take it anymore have to leave and break the because we are both sick. We probably have to sue westland if they try put fees on us! The pool was just for show it was never open. Our apartment was torn apart without anything being fix, and they lied about giving us a discount on our rent. Plus they never offer to relocate us to a new apartment..they just basic told us to deal with it. We had four different managers in less than a year. All of Westland is horrible. They can't fix anything or keep managers. Do yourself a favor never rent at a Westland own property
I moved in with my boyfriend 7 months ago & he had already been living here prior to me moving in. I usually lived in upscale parts of Las Vegas so when he told me the area he lived in I was very sceptical of how the apartments would be..But fortunately I was very pleasantly surprised to find that these apartments are very quiet and we have never had any issues with bugs or noisy neighbors. Only thing that id say is the washers and dryers on site dont sufficiently get the job done so id suggest going to a laundry mat to make sure your clothes get clean.
