Donna, Texas is named for Donna Hooks, the daughter of a land developer in the 1900s. Weslaco’s history dates back to 1916, when the US Army established a camp close to the US-Mexico border. The camp was used as a training facility during WW1. The Queen City of Mercedes is one of the oldest cities in the Rio Grande Valley, founded in 1907.

Been here for a year and surprised I lasted this long they ask you to write down things that need to be fixed as soon as you move in and never fix a thing you constantly have to be calling and even then they will never answer phones since I’ve been here they haven’t fixed anything they have poor maintenance and management I Wouldn’t recommended it

I've lived in these apartments since September 2014 and been threw about 4 different managers, they either get fired or they quit. These apartments are very bad maintained, I call so they can check my sink faucet and it took them almost a week to come and check then to fix it, it took days. Vinyl floors are always coming apart. The pool is always dirty and they say they cleaned it already. Its a gated community and the gates always seem to be broken down.

I am sorry to hear that you had a bad experience at La Estancia. In October 2015, Vesta Corporation purchased this property from the previous owner and has since begun to make improvements to nearly every facet of the property.
