Property Ratings at La Estancia
when we first moved in the AC did not work they did nothing to fix it but place a ceiling fan in the house that didn’t work, it rained really bad & water came in from the window cills, we had ants in our cabinets, the guest bathroom ceiling was leaking & caused the ceiling to swell 0 stars do not recommend
Hated living there. I had cats living in my ceiling and we had to pull kittens out of the walls. When I tried to figure out this situation, they trapped a momma cat and one of her kittens in the ceiling. I had to feed them through a whole in my bathroom. The cats would then go over to the neighbor's and poop and pee. The neighbor complained but they told him that I was sticking MY cats in the ceiling. Also, every year my apartment flooded during the rainy season. Every stinking year. The only reason I didn't move sooner was I was worried about the cats in the ceiling. Eventually I got them out and I had maintenance secure the entry way into the building. I moved out in a couple months after that.
If I can give them zero star i will. the apt kick me out, because i have a large breed dog. They said my husky can stop barking ALL DAY. The leasing person came to me, and told me can you let my dog stop barking. I was wondering how can you stop a dog from talking(barking) It was ridiculous Beside they charged me 450 deposit for the pets. some of the apt will refund the deposit if you kept it clean, and some will take it all or take part of it. depends on how much did they spending on cleaning. Obviously i didn't get any deposit back and i had a very horrible experience stay in this apt. I won't recommend to a family with pets. and the staffs there are very hard to communicate.
We where going to rent from this place. They said the deposit would be $200 we paid it then Vanessa said it was going to be $800. Beaches we had alot of addresses 8 in 11 years. When I asked what addresses they brought up some of my childhood homes I had no lease. I didn't break a lease or have a criminal record. They didn't give a reason why they raised it didn't want to give the deposit back beaches she said we canceled on her. Vanessa needs to find another line of work like the D.M.V or postal office. Worst experience of my life. I should have paid attention to the other reviews before we applied
Every other week the water to the entire complex is turned off. If you pay more you get a parking space, otherwise there's too many people and not enough spaces close enough to your door so enjoy walking across the complex. We pay too much to live in this place. They also give short notice when the pest control guy needs into your house. This place is not worth all the headaches.
The staff, especially the manager are extremely rude. When you come and see the apartments of course they are super nice and want to lure you in but once you become a resident that all goes out the window. There is never water. We literally go days at a time without water and it happens very often. Everything breaks down all the time and takes them forever to fix the problem. During the summer it is not uncommon for the air conditioning system to go out and be without a/c days at a time. The pools are also always "under repair" so you don't get to use them. Parking is a nightmare! There is never any parking spaces available and no use in paying for a reserved parking because no one respects the fact that they are reserved. It was an awful experience over all. I'm just glad my lease is over. Please safe yourself the headache and keep looking around.
Title says it all. The Staff from the maintenance and the office are very helpful. They tend to your needs as best as they can. The residents are really friendly as well, they treat the property as if it was their own. Now parking is kind of an issue here especially late Friday and Saturday night. The grounds tend to be well kept as well as the property. The maintenance issues get handled within a reasonable amount of time and at others take a good min to get done but they keep you in the loop of what is going on. La Estancia is worth every penny. Thank you. PS please update the gym
I've lived in these apartments for over a year. The first major problem I noticed was that every repair in my studio was done with paint. Paint as thick as 1/4" covered most everything, from outlets to drawers. They even painted the kitchen sinks (garbage disposal cover and all). I've put a few work orders in and maintenance is quick to getting to the issue. Or not. I've been told work orders have been completed (i.e. tub drain clogged, A/C not working) only to find that nothing has been touched. It is a gated community, and with that most gates are closed most of the time. Parking is a joke. Estancia is a huge property, but I believe it was built in the '70's when households only averaged 1 car. So that becomes problematic. Don't worry, though, tow trucks come through regularly to clear up some space for those patient enough. Their website states they still have a hot tub and tennis courts/ basketball courts. They filled the hot tub with stones and palm trees and I still haven't been able to find the courts. The office staff is pleasant enough and the studio was a very nice size, with a huge walk-in closet.
Great apartments. No major problems. Jerome in the office is only real help. Great location. Overall not bad, could use some improvements
I love the location. Good size apartments. Great office staff. Very caring.Maintenance repairs get taken care of quickly. Utilities can be pricey and appliances need upgrades but overall i am very happy here
Noise level is great. And rooms are a little too pricy but the staff is friendly and helpful. Maintainance is not that convinient but overall picture is well.
