Three small, upper-middle-class neighborhoods, Middletown, Woodland Hills and Douglass Hills, and Anchorage, an upper-class community, make up the Outer East End of Louisville. Each community features a mixture of newer, more elaborate homes that mingle nicely with some of the historic architecture in the area. However, the homes in Anchorage remain the most elaborate in the area. Wide-open, undeveloped areas provide residents with beautiful scenic views, and nearby access to U.S. Route 60 and interstates 64 and 265 make the 18-mile commute into downtown Louisville simple.

Run, don't walk from here! We should've listened. I was sick the entire time we lived there. We tried to get maintenance to test the place for mold since there was mildew everywhere and water coming through the walls, but they refused. Then, when we moved out, they bombarded us with charges (there was a patched square of carpet in the living room our cats tore up which understandably we would pay for, but charging us $250 for it on top of $669 for a brand new carpet? Seriously?)

It's concerning to read this review. The upkeep of our community is of the utmost importance to us and we try to resolve our residents' concerns as best we can. We try our best to prepare residents for potential fees upon moving out. Ultimately, additional charges are dependent upon the condition of the items in your home. If you feel as though you were unfairly charged, please give us a call to further discuss our evaluation.
All in the title. They showed us a unit with hard floors, promised the same for our unit. Our unit turned out to have old stained carpets. All the building are infested with roaches. Maintenance never fixes anything. I could go on and on. Just don't fall for their image.
DO NOT RENT FROM HERE...THEY DON'T FIX ANYTHING IN A TIMELY FASHION. I am a current resident who always pays their rent on time....mostly earlier than required. Yet, the office staff and maintenance crew have no sense of urgency to fix anything. My screen door has been off of the balcony for over 1 1/2 months now. I have asked and reminded several times that the door still needs to be put back on the tracks. During my last conversation with Morgan (or Megan don't recall her name) the new assistant manager, she indicated in a snarly and dismissive fashion that she would make sure that everyone was aware of my concerns. It is truly appalling the way the staff treats their current residents and how nothing gets repaired as it should. All I get are excuses and the sense that it is an inconvenience that I called. I cannot wait until my lease is up so that I can move because this is absolutely ridiculous. I have never lived in an apartment facility that allowed issues to go on for so long nor has any other facility been so nonchalant and dismissive of the concerns of its residents
Do not move in here!! Everything is run down and broken. The roofs are caving in and they won’t fix anything!! The place is a garbage dump!!

WORST PLACE I have ever lived in! The apratment CEILING ARE FALLING, the BATHROOM LEAKS, and AC DO NOT WORK! The manager are the worst person I known too! She would ignore me every time I went to the office, and say" IT MUST BE YOUR MISTAKE" to every problem I bring up! There is one time where she talked with another middle aged lady for an hour straight of personal things, leaving me outside waiting. DO NOT LIVE HERE! Unless you have no other place to go! This will be the worst choice you make!

Not the worst place out there by any means. The location is solid being right in between Middletown and St. Matthews. Parking in the townhouse parking lot has not been an issue. The area is generally quiet and have not experienced any crime since I've been there. With that being said, these are very old and not well maintained complexes. It appears after each tenant they just paint over another layer of paint. They did just replace all of the flooring before we moved in, so that was a plus. The outside is pretty well maintained, mowed regularly and they have come by to landscape. The pool is nice and they always have a lifeguard on duty during pool season. If the location is good for you, these town houses are a great price considering the amount of space you get. However, if you expect to have non-emergency maintenance completed, skip over this place as our laundry list of fixes that need to be done have yet to be fixed, we've been there almost a year now.
This Apartment Complex was built in the 1970's, the advantage is the square footage - 1200 square foot, two bedroom with two bathrooms. This is the first year in my thirteen years the pool actually opened on time and the indoor pool - would be nice to use in the off season! Maintenance is good and helpful with the exception it takes four to six months for the maintenance request to be completed. I despise the carpet in the apartment and in the entry way, which is so dirty. I do not use the laundry area and thankful I don't have to use it in that it is so nasty - another maintenance request the occupants are waiting on! I am close to the malls and many, many restaurants and parks.
