Love the industrial look with high ceilings, well lit space and exposed HVAC. Love the open floorplan and the litle "offcie " tucked in between LR and BA. Great maintenance as well. and great leasing staff

The original unit I was suppose to move into was an accessible one and wouldn’t work for me and management and staff rectified the situation and found me another unit and I was able to lease at the original agreed upon lease amount. Maintenance issues are handled promptly which I greatly appreciate. I feel safe and haven’t had an issue with hearing rowdy neighbors and so forth. I have been fortunate enough to not be a victim of vandalism but that’s just what’s happening all over the city. Cameras aren’t preventing criminals from carrying out their activities. I also love the Amazon hub for package delivery. I would highly recommend this place especially when you are coming from a house.

Property staff is hard to work with and not will not empathize with any type of concern. Been a resident for a over a year. My vehicle has been broken into and vandalized 3 separate times. One night 10 cars in one floor were broken into. Corporate refuses to implement security cameras or any time or measure really.

I have lived at the La Frontera Apartments for the past 3 years. In a large 1 bedroom for 2 years and a 2 bedroom with a study for the past year and recently renewed. I love my apartment life here. The units are modern and the layout of the apt makes it super spacious. I love the exposed duct work and automatic lights in the utility room and closets. The windows are beautiful and the high ceilings makes it feel airy with the concrete floors. There is also assigned garage covered parking at no fee that leads to the level you live on and the grounds are beautiful. One of my visiting friends commented the pool area reminded him of Brazil when he saw it lit at night. My experience with the staff has been great throughout the years even through the pandemic. They are responsive and fast to address issues. In most instances I have seen them go above and beyond for their residences. Recently, Kayne was awesome in my releasing process as was Ryan and Nancy in answering my questions. The site has a great maintenance team. One of the more tenured guys on the team is always super knowledgeable and pleasant. It's rare I have had to submit a request but within a normal work week they fix it quickly. The location is sweet. 35 and mopac almost at a crossroads. There's even a bus near the apt that can take u downtown to the Round Rock library. Anytime you can walk easily across the street and shop or eat. Everything is close. A beautiful cool day you see people enjoying the grounds. There's a park near the south building and its beautiful year round.

The first time we toured La Frontera Square apartments, Kayne was very helpful. He was very polite and professional and answered all of our questions. Even after move in, he and Ryan continued to show exceptional communication and care. All of the office staff - including maintenance is amazing. I would definitely recommend living here, especially because of the location. Only downsides: expensive, some dog owners do not pick up their dog’s waste, low water pressure
This property is very dirty. Often times there is trash and pet waste on the common grounds. The hallways on the 1st floor are also very dirty since people leave trash out for collection and in the 3 years I have lived here, they have never power washed the hall. Recently, there were mass car break-ins and I complained to the leasing office that the lights are very dim in the parking garage and pose a safety hazard. Just like everything else, management ignores this. I can not recommend this property, there are much better options.
Lovely place to live! I had to really quickly find a vacancy after a previous apartment fell through and they were very accommodating. Staff is friendly, grounds are kept clean and maintenance is on their A-game.
The staff here is an absolute joy to work with, they made sure to check in with me every step of the way! And in addition, it's really easy to get groceries each night, since there's so many stores right down the road. Plus, it's next to the highway, so it's super easy to get to downtown Austin. Wonderful place!
Everyone in the office in very helpful and friendly! Never had any trouble getting work orders done. Concrete floors make for easy cleaning and less noise from neighbors. Also very pet friendly with the park area next door!

This complex has made my standard for anywhere else I will live very high. Not only have they been so accommodating during COVID, but this includes the recent freeze Texas got. They not only kept in contact with the residents but even took extra precaution to make sure we had no frozen pipes hiding anywhere that could maybe cause further issues down the road. Finding a reliable leasing staff none the less management company is slim. I am very glad I moved here
This complex is the only one I will chose if I ever move back to Round Rock. I had to move due to job relocation but I would not have left otherwise. Every apartment had their pro’s and con’s however the pros outweigh the very few cons that come with apartment living. The office has had a few turnovers but the office staff I am aware of is phenomenal. (Jessica Jennifer Arial) Originally I toured with Arial and the customer service was great (another reason that I ended up leasing) Maintenance staff is kind and completed all my work orders promptly. Property is clean and the location is great.
We were in need of a new place and we’re interested in a 1 bedroom apartment (during COVID). We weren’t allowed to tour (which was normal) so we were sent deceiving photos. After signing a long lease we found out it was a studio apartment upon move-in. Not many people seem to pick up after their dogs, including pee on the stairs. Don’t move here if you have asthma, the building always smells like smoke, urine, or bleach... it even makes my dog gag. The office people are nice and maintenance requests are completed quickly.
I would definitely recommend these apartments, a 10 out of 10!! The staff in the office along with the maintenance are very helpful and nice. The apartments are excellent, they have a great layout, great bedroom sizes, and lots of closet space... which I love! Also they except your furry friends too. They have some nice gyms here and amazing pool that’s not only relaxing but clean! I would definitely check them out if you haven’t already.
If you are considering a move, you should definitely consider this place. Conveniently located right off I-35 and Toll-45 you can get anywhere you need to without the inconvenience of waiting through traffic lights. Closer to this location there is anything you need. Food, shopping, fitness centers, and entertainment, are all within a short walk. The complex itself is very modern with all the amenities to make your stay enjoyable. Pool, hot tub, valet trash, and a large common area with espresso's at the touch of a button you can't help but feel you are living a luxurious life, but without the cost. Perhaps the most underrated convenience is a covered parking garage. The garage not only ensures the safety of you vehicle from the elements, but also you. You don't have to walk up or down any stairs to get to and from you unit or be exposed to bad weather. The staff has been more than accommodating during my stay. Always personable and professional they have been able to make sure that all my needs have been met in a timely manner. There have been a couple of new faces during my stay, but steadfast devotion to the residents has always remained the same. I have stayed in a lot of different living complex's in my life and this has by far been the most enjoyable experience.

This is the greatest complex in around Rock, office staff is AMAZING, and it’s so close to Austin, will be renewing again.
These apartments are as close to what you’ll get downtown without the downtown prices! It’s also conveniently located near everything! Office staff is nice, maintenance is great, and property is always well kept.
BEWARE!!! I lived at la frontera square for about a year. My car was STOLEN from the parking garage. Leasing office people didn’t even bother to follow up to see if the situation with my car was ok, nor took time to follow up with about the police report.(MAJOR RED FLAG) Lots of break ins and vandalism happening to cars in the parking garage. (Cars getting egged) After I moved out they asked me To return my parking permit, told them my car was stolen and that returning a parking permit was out of my control. I’m sure they will still charge me for the parking permit. After i moved out i was charged rent for an extra day because i didn’t turn the keys in on the day I moved out. ( what is this a hotel?) and even though i was charged rent for that extra day and still technically on the lease...maintenance still managed to go into my apartment and rip my carpet out without my permission or consent to enter the apartment! They clearly saw I was out of the apartment and started working on it for the next tenant and they still had the audacity to charge me for rent that day. The people who work in the leasing office are always giving you different/incorrect information or withholding important information from you. Moving into this complex was the worst mistake of my life. Living here has cost me my car and over $2,000 worth of fees. It’s seems as if they withhold important information from you on purpose, just to make an extra buck. Not ok.

We do take crime, of any type, very seriously and proactively work with our on-site courtesy officer as well as the local authorities to help prevent these types of issues. Unfortunately, crime has no address and we are very sorry that the incident with your vehicle occurred. Regarding the additional fees you mentioned, we do require a 60 day notice, which is a very common notice term for apartment communities. The 60 day notice and fees associated with holding-over past your initial lease term were outlined in the contract that you signed prior to moving in. We do understand your frustration with having to pay for the full notice-period and we always encourage our residents to read their contracts fully and ask us questions anytime they may arise. We have not, nor will we, charge you for the parking permit. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the northern Austin to Round Rock area. A great location that is convenient to get anywhere you want to go. The staff here is excellent and any maintenance requests are completed quickly. The management Jessica and Jennifer and all the leasing agents are professional, courteous and very responsive to any issues. The apartments are modern loft-style with high ceilings, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. It’s a moderately sized complex so the amenities are always available. The maintenance staff does a great job of keeping up the grounds. The location is second to none in the area and the absolute best place for quality, convenience and usable amenities.

So I'm pretty straight forward about everything, as most of my reviews will show. So let's start out by saying, the staff here are almost militant. They don't waver one bit. Ever. And I love it! Not that I won't question. I'm not one to bend many rules, but even if I slip up by mistake, they let me know. This ensures we keep a beautiful property all the time, for all to enjoy. Good for them! They put the money out to make it great they have the right to make everyone respect it too, in my opinion. Maintenance orders are answered quick, and well, they go the extra mile to take care of the property instead of the alternative of just enough to get by. Now there are some shortcomings...cheap builders grade in our space, though not in the rest of the property. The pool area...how did you forget restrooms? They just need to key fob that to the common areas at night. But all-in-all...they nailed it. Tons of grills, ample parking, unique, hip spaces, resonable pet rent and storage units and they really do stay out of your business, if you mind the rules. And above all, they screen their tenants. Cool people all around. A friend referred us...said he would have stayed if he could have purchased. Gotta say, we may say the same someday. Tho we're not moving anytime soon. So if you want a cool space, that doesn't price gouge, it's really awesome.

If i was asked this question 3 months after I moved in my review would have been glowing. When I first toured the facility I was in love. Over a year in, and I'm literally counting down the days till my lease ends. Although their are a few pros, the cons are simply too atrocious too ignore. The Location of the complex is amazing. You can get to almost everything you need (restaurants, shopping, etc) in around 2-5 minutes.The pool area is also pretty nice, a cool area to gather with some friends for a BBQ. That's about where my positive review ends. SAFETY. don't use the gym. Its disgusting and its lack of equipment upkeep can literally cause serious injury. Burglary in the parking lot is an issue. Ive gone to the parking lot and had both front doors of my car wide open (luckily I had nothing in my car) but it is still quite discouraging. While they openly acknowledge it is an issue and promise more police patrols, I don't understand why they cant hire a private security firm for all the money they take in. NOISE. This is my biggest complaint. These walls are paper thin and due to the parking lot location, I wake up to car alarms going off at least twice a week. Between the courtyard, running in halls, and parking lot its a nightmare for those who want a relaxing environment. LISTEN to what you are told when you are signing lease. I was told after six months I could put myself on a wait list for a larger unit, only to be told "yes our website says we have a wait list, but unfortunately its first come first serve". I felt like an idiot asking for something that THEY advertised only to be told it doesn't exist. There are many apt complex in the area so don't be sold on this one simply due to location! OVERALL its definitely not worst complex in Round Rock by any means, but for the price you owe yourself to shop around.
I have lived here for 6 years in various floor plans. All have been amazing quality and very sound proof. The apartments have a loft style / European vibe with lots of light and open floor plans. Every time my lease is up I always look at other apartments, but nothing ever compares. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Great area as well. Just signed another extension !

If you want insanely loud fire alarms lasting for a long time on a regular basis, move here! ALL .....THE....TIME! When I moved in, apartment was not clean. Horrible!

I’m super excited to be moving back here! I’ve been gone for two years, and missed living here. The staff is still awesome, and I still got that “WOW” feeling when I came back to look at the apartments. It’s very close to everything, which makes it even better!
I have really enjoyed living here because of the amazing staff, amenities and atmosphere. All the neighbors I've met are awesome. I love hanging out in the lounge and meeting neighbors while enjoying the awesome coffee machine. The location is perfect for work and my gas bill has gone down so much by being so close to restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend La Frontera Square!
The office staff is really nice I enjoy living here. Plenty of space for my dog and shopping is here too.
the courtesy officer never does anything when called upon. other than that. the property is terrific. mgmt is attentive. when you put in a Maintience request. it's normally handled same day. (impressive) negative part: pool hours are not enforced. so you can come at 4 am be loud and blare music. the property won't do anything. apparently it's okay to do that.
I love these apartments! They are central to everything that you could need! They are very prompt with getting all my work orders done. The property always looks good! The staff is also very helpful and willing to do whatever they can to make sure that we are happy. The inside of the apartment is really nice, I love it here.
Apartment living has never been something that I have enjoyed or desired. Be that as it may, there are times in our lives when we have to live in them, and when those times come for me I am never excited. The search this time for me was the same…until I found La Frontera Square. The pics on the website got me a bit interested…the phone call to set up a time to come visit and take a tour got me a bit more excited (Shelby did a wonderful job on the phone)…and then…the visit. To start things off beyond wonderful, I was greeted with genuine and enthusiastic smiles from the entire crew…and the enthusiasm that Shelby had while giving the tour wasn’t faked. This place is the genuine deal for me: Modern and so much to offer…restaurants, shopping, and a movie theatre all within walking distance, a wonderful parking garage, fitness centers (yes more than one) on site, an amazing exterior design, great security, and just so much more. THIS is the apartment I had always been looking for. I chose a 1-bedroom as that is all I need, and I was worried that the square footage may not be enough (I have accumulated a lot of crap in my decades). I needn’t have worried. The high ceilings give you a feeling of size that you simply can’t find in other apartment complexes. The design of the floor plan is perfect as there is no wasted space at all. The entry closet and pantry are simply wonderful, and the laundry room (complete with full size washer and dryer) is simply magnificent. The sleeping area is huge and has a built in desk and work area (simply perfect). The bathroom is crazy big and the linen closet is larger than a lot of normal closets in apartments. Now, the actual closet itself…t’s a whole other room - you don’t see closets this size in new homes - and that took care of any and all storage concerns I had. Let me say this again, because I know that this is key to so many decisions made about an apartment complex, the staff are AMAZING. Management, leasing, and even the maintenance staff always have a smile on their face and are quick to say hello with true friendliness. It’s simply a joy when you walk into the office for any reason. This started on the phone, continued with the tour, was simply stunning throughout the application and approval stages, and couldn’t have been better on the day I came to get my key. Choose wisely when looking around - and be sure to include La Frontera Square on your list - you won’t have to look at any more after this place!
New to the area and couldn't be happier with our decision to live at La Frontera Square! It's pretty quite, covered parking garage, nice pool and gym. We are obsessed with our high ceilings. For how affordable the rent is, you really get your money's worth and then some.
This has been the worst living experience a person could ever have!!! I have lived here for a little over a year and for about half of it my apartment has had water damage leaking through the walls, the windows, cracks all through the foundation, and mold which started to form because their lack of caring to fix the issue!!!!! I literally had to rearrange my living room to keep my things from being ruined!!! They will do whatever they can to swindle you out of a buck and trump up charges that are not even in your binding lease!!! I literally had to go to AUSTIN TENANTS COUNCIL on these apartments because of all these reasons and had to write a certified letter just so they can start working on my apartment!!!! The managers at these apartments ARE RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND TREAT THEIR TENANTS LIKE SCUM ON THE BOTTOM OF THEIR SHOES!!!! My girlfriend lives in these same apartments and is having similar issues with management and them trumping up charges and not having any proof to back them up!!!! My suggestion to anyone that's reading this is to NOT MOVE IN THESE APARTMENTS!!! REGARDLESS OF WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE ON THE OUTSIDE, THEY ARE POORLY BUILT AND THE MANAGEMENT TEAM AT THIS PROPERTY ARE JUST ALL AROUND NOT GOOD PEOPLE!!! I have lived in apartments for well over 10 years and this is by far the worst property I have ever lived in!!!! Be wise people!!!!
Ive been staying at these apartments for 14 months now and i love it. The community is amazing, the location is awesome, and the staff are wonderful. I can say these apartments feel more like home than a temporary stay. Thank you Crystal and La Frontera (Tonti Properties)
Wonderful property and equally as wonderful staff! Tracy and her team are second to none. I have stayed in several complexes in the area looking for the one to call home. I found my home at La Frontera Square.

Haven't had any issues here so far. Maintenance is quick to respond, the staff at the office is always helpful (and sweet), the parking garage is nice, and all the amenities satisfy my needs. What more could I ask for? :)
