Situated about 62 miles east of Downtown Los Angeles, Moreno Valley West is an expansive community in the Inland Empire area. Nicknamed "Mo-Val," the west end of Moreno Valley holds a distinct quality by providing residents a serene, desert-like setting as well as several restaurants and retail shops. Rental options in Moreno Valley West range from luxury apartments to charming houses and everything in between.
If you travel along Pigeon Pass Road and head toward the Sunnymead Ranch community, you may have to stop for crossing animals. To accommodate the neighborhood animals, street signs line the roads to warn drivers of donkey crossings.
With temperatures reaching 112 degrees, summers grow hot in Moreno Valley, while winters loom cold. Heading up Heacock Street to Reche Canyon, residents catch stunning views of snow-capped mountains during the winter months. In contrast to Los Angeles, life in Riverside County offers locals a distinct change in seasons.

Property Ratings at La Pacifica
They were so quick to accept our money but didn’t make sure the apartment was up to par. We had to wait an additional 2 weeks for them to fix everything. Also my car was broken into bc the gates didn’t work for the first 10 months of our lease and the office acted nonchalant about it. To make matters worse, our apartment became infested with bed bugs after they did treatment on a neighboring apartment without giving us warning.
The office staff is very disorganized. It takes several phone calls and a lot of waiting to accomplish anything that you need done. Any paperwork you take in there make sure you make copies of cuz it's guaranteed that they will lose it. Also don't count on your rent staying the same, they will raise it every year even though new tenants who have no no rent history with them will be at a lower rate. I have waited for 6 hours before for a maintenance guy to show up to fix something and he never came. I've also waited another time that he did show up but it was late and then he repaired the wrong item. Renter beware!!!!
Other then the rent being high ( mind you everything is high here in Moreno Valley now ) I enjoy living here. Walls are thick and you can’t hear your neighbors. It’s fairly clean and pretty calm at night. Maintenance takes a week or so to fix things but pretty good about it. I honestly have no issues with living here other then there isn’t much guest parking in the front.. it’s mostly to the back but I enjoy living here. Looking to renew contract.
First of all the resnt is too High And i paid double deposit because i don’t have history of residency ,they took all the deposit $1200
La Pacifica's ad on apartments.com specifically states that water, sewer, and trash fees are included in the rent. I went to see the property today, and the first thing they showed me was a price list that said the water, sewer and trash are actually $65 in addition to the rent, not included at all! The complex is okay, but the pet rent is higher than average, the deposits are really higher than average, and they already pulled a fast one on the additional fees. Nonetheless, I let them show me a 2-bedroom, 2-bath unit. It was okay, nothing special. The bedrooms were big and also a lot of space was devoted to closets and storage. Unfortunately, this leaves only enough space for a very small living room. They have two swimming pools but admitted that they always keep one locked up. The gym looks nice on the website but it is actually very tiny. - You might give someone else in there a black eye with your elbow by accident if you moved too quickly!
La Pacifica Apartment Homes are very nice open floor plans. Lots of space, I enjoy the property and management very attentive to the needs of the renters, maintenance very good about repairs needed, although I have not lived there long I think I will be happy there. Having my rent paid for life would truly be a big bill lifted off me I could spend more time in helping my children one with medical issues one in college, but if it's my time then I'll hear from you soon..
Great place to live. I've lived here for 5 years great place to live great place to raise children and pets are allowed garages
Decent neighborhood, good managers and nice carpeting are all things you can expect here. They don't pay any of your utilities but they include a flat rate for water, trash and sewage in with your monthly rent, so you can't use a credit card to pay those utilities if you're coming up a little short and they'll be able to kick you out. Some of the buildings are no smoking but the lease says you only get in trouble if you cause damages or upset someone else with your smoking. The lease also very specifically forbids excessive household plants, which the manager wasn't able to pin down an exact number for. So don't move here if you like to garden, a manager with a power trip can cause you some serious headaches.
I just moved into La Pacifica family apartments in Moreno Valley Ca and I enjoy it. It's pretty quiet during the day and at night. The only thing I hear when I'm out on the balcony is the busy street that I'm next to. There isn't as many uncovered parking spots as the management says but you'll still fine one. The buildings and landscape are really clean and beautiful. The pools, spas, and playground are great for families. The management seem great so far. I do like that the walls are already painted (not white). It just feels like home. Very comfortable.
The La Pacifica Apartments are decent. They're pretty quiet and matinence usually responds fixes things pretty quickly. I give it three stars because the apartments are quiet but it is a bit rowdy in the back of the apartments. Fortunately, I live in the front so I don't have to deal with any rowdiness. Ion Thursday they have someone who sprays for bugs, so if you sign up they will come spray inside your apartments. They also have a 24 hour gym which is great. The location is great because I live by everything like grocery stores, the mall, movie theater, restaurants, and retail stores. Overall I like living here.
